Wonderful small, hotel, with a pool. Ideal for couples, who want a quiet, laid back holiday When we arrived at 11.00, our room was ready, so we could get straight into our holiday Paul and Carol, are most welcoming on reception and always helpful with good advice on the area. All the staff, were most pleasant and smiling Breakfast, was plentiful, with fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese, olives, various breads, cakes, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, different sausages ( different each day), bacon, beans, yogurt, jams, teas, coffees, juice,etc For a small 23 room hotel, it is amazing We stayed, half board, for two weeks and enjoyed the evening meal. Would always recommend the soup. David, is normally, the main man in the restaurant of an evening. He is a larger than life character. Fast and efficient with his service The hotel is up a steep hill, so you have a great view, but is something to consider, if you have difficulty walking Loved our stay There are plenty of sun beds around the pool

Lovely hotel in good location. Easy walk into Old Town, however it is very steep coming back and we ended up getting taxis which cost 5 - 6 Euros each trip. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very large and so was the en suite bathroom. No tea or coffee facilities which we felt should have been provided. The breakfast for us was disappointing, we are vegetarian and the only choice of hot food was beans and scrambled eggs, - every day, no hash browns, grilled tomatoes or fried potatoes. We never ate there in the evenings so cannot review the meals. Overall, the hotel was kept nice and clean and was a pleasant place to spend time in around the pool area, however, the pool was not heated and was way too cold to swim in, a real shame. The bar area, although very nice, was deserted in the evenings as there is no staff on site, so you had to buy and serve your own drinks, ( an honesty book you had to sign in ), so we went out every night. You also had to heat up your own snacks, mainly toasted sandwiches etc. We felt this was a lost opportunity to encourage guests to stay at the hotel in the evenings and sit around chatting. All in all, its a really nice hotel and we would recommend it, but there are a few things which we felt would have made it even better.

Had a lovely one week stay at Cerro da Hotel.Rooms are clean & comfortable The food was Amazing-cooked perfectly ( and hot) The jacuzzi & spa area were beautiful, i had a facial & my husband had a back massage and it was lovely also reasonably priced, The Management & team we’re very helpful/ polite nothing to much for them David at the restaurant had a lovely personality and was always very pleasant The pool area is spotless & very relaxing & calm Can not fault this gem of a hotel Would definitely recommend

Great Hotel. It is better than described on the TUI website. All areas of the hotel were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast choice was excellent and an early breakfast tray was provided for our early departure. The hotel is located in a nice quite residential area 10-15 mins stroll to the Old Town or the Marina. It is on a hill but so is most of Albufeira, an Uber from either location back was only €4-5. Many thanks to Paulo and his staff for an enjoyable stay.

This is a beautiful hotel relaxing and in a lovely quiet area. In my opinion it’s hard to find anything wrong. The breakfast has a wide choice of food and is in keeping with the hotel very relaxed. The pool area is beautiful and there is no rush for a sun bed. They are available all day. The hotel runs an honesty bar which is excellent and there is free tea coffee and biscuits at 4.00pm everyday. This hotel is underrated as a three star and should be a minimum of 4 stars. Will be returning to this slice of tranquility next year

We really enjoyed our stay at Cerro da Marina Hotel. The location is perfect, quiet neighbourhood and a short walk to the beach. Rooms are beautifully decorated, squeaky clean with very comfortable beds and we even had our own patio with sun beds. The food was amazing - cooked to perfection and well presented. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. There is also a little spa and my husband enjoyed a massage and I had a lovely facial. Pablo and his team are fantastic hosts and we feel very well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and the team was always very friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere is very relaxing, felt like home from home. We would also like to extend our thanks to David at the restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely like to return. Thank you, team, for making our holiday so special!

Thankyou so much to management and staff for a great holiday. Everyone was so cheerful at this little gem. Clean, comfortable accommodation. The area around the hotel is really quiet and relaxing. Went as 2 couples and then surprised by another couple of family members, so a great time was had by all. Thank you once again We will definitely be back.

I loved this hotel. Small, beautifully decorated and furnished, immaculately clean with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were fabulous and the honesty bar was an interesting concept. Swimming pool was pristine and very much enjoyed. The one suggestion I might make is that a good barman in the evenings would encourage the guests to stay in the lounge and socialise.

What a wonderful hotel. It is spotless throughout ( including the gardens and pool ) and all the staff are helpful and pleasant. Rooms are large and it was great to have our own balcony overlooking the garden, and a sea view. Breakfast is fantastic! There is a great choice of everything you could want. It is a hidden gem.
