Beautiful historic hotel with stunning sea views and perfect location on the Corniche. Clean rooms, excellent service, and great atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Alexandria.

It is heritage hotel with history dated back almost 100 years, and stayed by famous people in the past such as Winston Churchill and Elvis Presley. Located centrally and easily accessible to most of the key attractions in Alexandria. Highly recommended place to stay.

Can’t believe that can happen when I stay in hotel that should have big name I have really bad experience with that hotel and can’t believe the management Thy give refund to customer cuz he keeps yelling at them cuz of the electric issue And when I ask about my refund cuz we both left the hotel No money for me cuz I was nice

We had a great stay at Cecil. Our room was spacious and had a side view of the Mediterranean Sea. Amazing view throughout the day.

Very noisy, the room 201 I stayed in was filled with never ending car sirens every day all the day. Not recommended.

I live in Egypt, often come to Alexandria for the weekend. I stay mostly at Metropol or Rixos Montaza, this time I decided to go to this hotel. The hotel is not worth the money at all, the rooms are dark, the furniture is tired, the breakfasts are poor on the first floor in a busy place. No customer focus, they gave me a room with a view of the neighboring building, I asked to check out at 2 p.m. - they refused, I have never had such refusals in any hotel before. I will never come again. I was alone, they gave me a room with two separate beds.

There is a bar and a restaurant and a night club. You can buy imported alcohol in the bar, but it is very expensive. Whiskey or foreign rum for a glass is 1100 pounds. There is no swimming pool or spa. Suitable for a stay of several days.

Incredibly nice hotel. Beautiful interior. Excellent staff. The room had a view of the sea and the embankment. Delicious breakfast.

Old style, British service, very good! Everyone in the hotel is very friendly. The only downside is that the air conditioner in the room is quite loud.
