Hotel Alkmaar dengan Bar

Alkmaar is a fantastic city with many historical and cultural high spots as well as a great football team. This is a central very well run hostel well worth visiting, I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed excellent breakfasts and fine nights sleep

Booking and checking was fast and easy. Hotel is close to parking garage Parkeergarage de Vest, that may be full sometimes and Parkeergarage Kanaalschiereiland. It is in walking distance from rail and bus station (15 minutes). Hotel is on the street in old town with all the perks and disadvantages. It is beautiful around. Everything is near, but it may be also little noisy. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. I stayed in economy room and nothing reminded economy. The hotel is perfect for Pokemon Go players. You can spin 7 Pokestops from your bed.

My husband, our daughter and I booked this hotel for 2 weeks. The location is great: close to railway station, bus station and city center. The staff is friendly. The cleaning up after breakfast or just having a drink and a snack is really slow. We had a drink, went out for dinner and two hours later, the glasses were still on the table how we left it. Table is right in front of the window. Bar service isn't really quick either. The bitterballen however are delucious: you have to try them, yummy!! The outdoor seating area also needs more attention regarding cleaning, also the footpath: cigarette buts etc. I can't understand why some people don't use the provided ashtrays. We enjoyed the room size and the bathroom! A suggestion to update the entrance, bar and breakfast area: get rid of allthe artificial, outdated vases with flowers and replace them either with living plants or fresh colorful flowers. l

Short journey from Schipol Airport, less than 30 minutes. The hotel is perfectly suited for the AK Alkmaar Football Stadium which is a ten minute walk away. It is 25 minutes walk into the fabulous town of Alkmaar. The hotel has a good onsite Sushi restaurant. The staff are great. The hotel is safe and clean. But it is limited. Breakfast is a basic offering, good variety but quality average. Rooms are ok, functional but again just. The hotel reception doubles up as a bar. Not ideal. So for me it’s a good base for exploring Alkmaar but it is a no frills hotel. If you want a bit more, you need to stay elsewhere.

Zeer goed gelegen hotel, vlak bij het stadscentrum. Goed bereikbaar met de trein. Een vroegere school die heringericht werd als hotel, wat het hotel een bijzonder cachet geeft. Ruime kamers. Zeer ruime badkamer. Zeer rustig. Ruim bureau. Goed verlicht. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekende bediening. Goed ontbijt. Goede restaurants in de buurt. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis om met de fiets de ruime omgeving te verkennen. Spijtig dat er geen safe is in de kamer. In het algemeen: een aanrader, zeker!

Recommended! Staffs are very friendly and helpfull. Perfect location,very near to train and bus station.Easy walk to anywhere in the old town.The room was clean,big, comfortable,cozy and quiet.Best hotel in Alkmaar,definitely choosing here again

Lovely hotel stay. Wedding anniversary in Superior Room No.234 - but not very superior. Wallpaper falling from top of wall, revealing mould in more than one place. Noisy Air vents outside room. View was not great… Had to keep window closed overnight. Other than that, prison tour was great. Staff were absolutely awesome. Breakfast was THE best!! Beautiful area… shame about the big storm 2 days previous making the forest out of bounds. I would definitely recommend this hotel for people who have never been! But.. Fix the wallpaper!!
