Max Hotels Prayagraj

The room was very congested due to a pillar present inside the room. There was no wardrobe. Most useless cloth hangers. We could continuously hear the noise of the trains passing through Allahabad station. Bathroom water was reaching all the way to the commode. Overall horrible experience, wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is very good. Service is extremely good. Chef Tarun thakur cooks nice non veg food. Ambience is peaceful. It's close to the railway station and auto service is available easily. WiFi is bit slow but it's manageable. It's maintained and kept clean.

**Traces of Human Hair and Insects in Hotel Food** This hotel is a disgrace to the holy city of Prayagraj, and I urge anyone thinking of staying here to reconsider. From the moment we arrived, there was no one to help with our luggage. We had to carry our own bags, and to make matters worse, the lift was out of order due to maintenance. If you have elderly people or a lot of luggage, get ready for a tiring climb to the second or third floor. The hotel does not allow outside food, and the in-house dining is very expensive. To make things worse, they add extra items to your bill and demand payment, saying the bill has already been generated. The food quality is terrible. I found human hair and bugs in the rice dishes. In colored dishes like Biryani and Pulao, it's hard to see, but in plain rice, it's clearly visible. When we asked for a complimentary water bottle, they charged ₹60. The tea served here is worse than what you get at a railway station. The staff is extremely rude and uneducated, behaving more like local goons than hotel employees. The manager claimed to be a practicing lawyer in Allahabad High Court and implied we couldn't complain and that the hotel didn't care about our issues. We booked through Goibibo and, having already paid, felt trapped. The treatment we received was humiliating, especially in front of our children and elderly parents. It was a terrible experience. For your peace of mind, I request everyone reading this to avoid this hotel at all costs. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I deeply regret visiting Prayagraj and wish I had chosen a different place to stay.

We stayed at hotel for one day... Food and services are awesome.. specially Dal tadka is our favourite one... Thanks for hosting us and special thanks to Shef Tarun Thakur for excellent food. Hotel is near by railway station hence easy to locate.

Had to get the bedsheets changed, the hotel was recently painted so smelt of paint, good point was that it wasn’t disturbing even though it is in close proximity to the railway station. Overall it was a fine experience but could be improved . .

Excellent food quality with tast. Shafe tarun thakur is wonderful cook Proper perfact arrangement and hospitality. Worth it. Shafe Tarun personaly taken care for customer tasty and requirements. Overall wonderful experience.......

The restaurant tastes really good. We were on a short trip stop over at Prayagraj, didnt expect the food to taste balanced. We had plain simple indian menu cause were traveling since few days, Specially would like to mention Chef Tarun Thakur for his tastes balancing food. Best part of the property is its restaurant. Don't know when we would prayagraj again, but must recommend the food here.

Visited the hotel , it is near or adjacent to railway station room was cleaned ,mine was Map plan.here Restaurant was good and , food was tasty .. manchow soup was awesome..items were made by chef Tarun thakur and also good services from the staff.
