Hotel Allegheny County dengan Bar

The hotel was decent. I was bothered by someone trying to open my room door at midnight. Turned out it was hotel staff and the key got stuck.

Everything was great. Nice room. Bathtub had some mold around it but other than that room was great

I booked this for a business trip, out of convenience to be able to walk to my office. Facilities were decent. I did not interact with hotel staff very much, but those interactions were pleasant. Room itself felt a bit dated, but served its purpose.

Very nice. Very clean. Staff was excellent! They were accommodating and very friendly! Breakfast was provided for us. The food was delicious and variety of choices. They did have a little bistro with choices for the other customers. Plus they had a fridge that you could purchase extras. Which I thought was very convenient.

It is July 2024, we have been here since May 2024. We are here for my husband‘s job. All of the staff here are extremely accommodating, professional, warm, welcoming, always have a smile on their faces, they greet you ,they go above and beyond the call of duty. I applaud them all, and I hope they get the recognition they all deserve. If they can’t do it or find something they will find someone that can. All of them are extremely efficient and proficient in their positions. The hotel is clean and I feel safe here. The surrounding area is very convenient with lots of shopping and restaurants. Close enough to walk to. Tons of options. The Sandcastle, it’s a waterpark is here. Also, if you have children to entertain. And Kennywood is close by as well. The bike path along the river is beautiful and convenient. The beds are comfortable. The view of the river from our balcony is gorgeous. They do have a bistro down In the lobby area. It is open for breakfast and dinner. They do have a bar. They also have free coffee in the morning. All in all, it has been an enjoyable experience staying in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel,If you are visiting this area. I would definitely come back to this hotel if in the area again. Again kudos to all of the employees! U make this hotel what is it!! I was pleasantly surprised by this small hotel. I liked that it was in a mansion and within walking distance to Phipps Conservatory and the Carnegie museums (both about a 15 minute walk from the hotel). The lobby area is beautifully furnished. Check-in was fast with friendly staff to help with any questions. There is a full bar on site which serves drinks and a few small munchies but no restaurant or room service was available. The bartender was kind enough to give me some help with the local food options. She even went so far as to draw me a small map so I could easily locate the restaurants. (Thanks so much for the extra effort. It was greatly appreciated!) The walk to nearby Shadyside was only about 10 minutes. There were restaurants and bars available plus some shops. The area is safe so I didn't feel uncomfortable walking in late evening. The rooms were clean and modern with standard amenities. I did like that housekeeping service was optional. At check-in, you were asked to chose the type of housekeeping service you would like during your stay. I was only staying in the hotel for two nights so opted out of housekeeping service. My only real complaint was the lack of parking for the hotel. There is off street parking which is good since the hotel sits on a busy street, but the amount of parking is very limited. I only saw eight actual parking spaces. Three of these spaces were not available due to on-site construction. The overflow parking is basically anywhere along the perimeter of the property next to the fence. This is not enough parking for the amount of rooms available. I didn't appreciate having to park in a location where my car could easily by damaged. With the exception of the parking, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would stay again when visiting Pittsburgh.

The room was clean and had great amenities. The furnishings were modern and the lobby provided a unique vibe. All in all this place was wonderful.

The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The continental breakfast was decent, but not great. The location is fantastic if you're in town for a ballgame. However, my room was at the very north end of the hotel near the highway and the road noises at night was pretty bad/loud due to the elevated roadway. The reason for my terrible rating on cleanliness is that when I turned down my sheets, I had black flecks of something all in my sheets, as well as a long dark hair under the top sheet I could see. Additionally, I had some sort of dead bug on my side table. It looked like potentially a bed bug, so I didn't get much sleep the only night I was there. I'd recommend this hotel to stay at with a few caveats of asking for a room on the south end of the hotel as well as checking your sheets as soon as you get into your room.

Overall was a very comfortable stay! I was in town with friends for the weekend for a mutual friend’s wedding and the Hyatt was very conveniently located near both the airport and wedding venue. The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel breakfast was decent and the hotel staff were friendly, but seemed short-staffed at times. Would stay again for comfort and convenience.

Frequent guest at this property. Reasonably nice, though slightly older/more worn than your average Marriott (but no cleanliness issues). The Renaissance is better but usually too expensive for my company policy. Location is alright, very convenient to the PPG Arena and Duquesne University. The Renaissance and Courtyard are better options if you're looking for a good downtown location within the Marriott family. My only mild gripe about this place however is they never give me room upgrades or lounge access as a Bonvoy Gold (while I'll get them 30-50% of the time at other Marriott properties). In fact they usually stick me with a room next to the elevators even though my Bonvoy profile requests the opposite. Also please fix the door leading from the garage to the elevators! That thing is going to knock someone off their feet one day if it hasn't already.
