I’ve never left a negative review in my life for any establishment. I instead opt to not leave a review at all. But I must share this horrendous experience with others so no one makes the mistake of going here. My colleagues and I booked the stay for around 5 nights. We booked through ***********, and were asked online if we needed a smoking or non smoking room. We opted for smoking and point to note the conversation was on text through the app. Pictures attached We checkin to Mildom and the lady tells us there’s no balcony rooms available however you may smoke today in the room and we’ll provide you with a smoking room tomorrow. The next day they tell us to shift into Mildom Premium, the same hotel as them except claiming to be more ‘luxurious’. We check in and they tell us it’s going to cost us 20000 KZT extra (approx $60) for the room as it’s bigger. This was unusual as they never mentioned this before or a bigger room however we paid them as the reason we asked to be shifted was to get a smoking room. On the night of checkout, as im leaving these two women working at the front desk, tell me there is a situation where you’ve smoked in the room and there will be a penalty on you before you leave. Im staring at their faces in disbelief and not only this, but they send a bell boy upstairs to our room to check for smells of cigarettes. I know this because as he came down one of the women asked him if he checked and presumably got PICTURES to which he said no and she was visibly irritated by him. I try to explain calmly at first that we have the conversation with *********** where you guys have agreed to give us a smoking room. This exasperated women starts getting irritated and by that time I’d called a friend who understood Russian. She tells him they have video of us smoking in the room and she looks at her computer and reads out my passport details while looking threateningly at me as if she’ll turn me in (which btw lol I already had my passport with me). I get extremely irritated by this point and tell her that we aren’t denying we smoked. Just for laughs I asked her why don’t you show me the video then. She says her manager has it and she can’t show it right now 😂. My friend then speaks to her in Russian and shows both these women my. *********** convo which id been trying to so many times before. They immediately saw their mistake and asked us to please not take any offence to what they said. This kind of harassment deserves to be publicised and I urge any potential travels to Almaty Kazakhstan to stay away for your own sake. The way this staff treated us as if we were criminals was astounding, Any establishment with such employees need to revamp themselves immediately, firstly by getting rid of such rude receptionists. I believe I’ve left this review at Mildom City hotel aswell by accident. Please disregard it. Mildom Premium is the hotel I’m referring to.

РАЗВОДЯТ на деньги! При заселении с посетителей берут депозит в 20 000 тенге, на вопрос - для чего? тебе заранее говорят - за порчу имущества! Как бы предполагая, что это точно будет и в конце вас ждет сюрприз. При этом, номер в отеле стоил 50 000 тенге в сутки (брали на на 7 суток), что само по себе не дешево для этого уровня отеля (сейчас он стоит до 25 000 тенге). При выезде из отеля, мужу сказали, что он испортил полотенце, на нем пятно, которое сложно вывести (показали на фото в телефоне пятно размером 1х1 см). Когда он предложил забрать полотенце и постирать его самостоятельно, сотрудники отеля ответили, что это полотенце они потеряли и/или выкинули!? А с него 8 000 тенге! РАЗВОД ЧИСТОЙ ВОДЫ! Вызов управляющего вопрос не решил, деньги НЕ ВЕРНУЛИ. Мошеннические схемы обмана посетителей налажены на все 100! Итог: испорченное настроение и неприятное впечатление о недобросовестности людей! СЭКОНОМЬТЕ СЕБЕ НЕРВЫ И ДЕНЬГИ! ВЫБИРАЙТЕ ДРУГОЙ ОТЕЛЬ И ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО ЧИТАЙТЕ РЕАЛЬНЫЕ ОТЗЫВЫ!
