The hotel is in good location in the city centre where you can find coffee shops restaurants shops and supermarkets and stores s close to the beach staff are friendly

Prima hotel om te overnachten. Op de gang stinkt het helaas wel naar sigaretten. De kamers zijn ruim.

Restored in 2018, the hotel kept its charm of its past when Orson Wells, Brigitte Bardot and Spaghetti western stars like Clint Eastwood stayed there between filming. I adore the opulent marble restaurant lobby in black and white leading to a roof top pool. Great location with views of the bay.

Perfect place to book your holidays in the south of Spain, we stayed 4 days and enjoyed every one of it, room service do a great job even with the mess we leaved the room one of the days. The reception staff was so polite and kind and the pool so relaxing. For sure we will come back!

Arrived and checked in ok. Went to the lift which was so outdated up to level 3. First impressions of room basic old furniture and a very dusty sofa. Fridge didn't work as you couldn't reach to plug it in so we had to rearrange the room. Lots of long black hairs on the bathroom floor. Bedding and towels were nice and fresh bed was comfy even though it didn't look it. Nice view over to the sea. Didn't eat here but drinks were very cheap. Pool was cold so didn't use it but sat by on the sunbeds. Great location not far from the town and about 20 mins walk to the beach. It's just not 4 star and needs an update but would stay again for the location.

We stayed here when attending a concert in the Berlin Social Club. This venue is a three minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is lovely, spotless and sone lovely touches, chocolates and water in the room and a free drink from the bar. Breakfast was an additional 12€, well worth it, great selection of food and drink (cava available too). Toiletries, a safe, fridge and hairdryer available in the room. It’s a great location and would not hesitate to stay there again.

The staff did their best but this hotel is dated and dirty and in desperate need of updating. The internet is PATHETIC hardly able to load a webpage or send an E mail. For someone on business it is a total disaster as the internet is weak and cuts out continually. A video or conference call? Forget it. Breakfast just about acceptable.

My rating is probably a bit generous given that the debacle started from check in. No car parking available so it was suggested that we drive to a public parking area near the ferry terminal and cross busy roads. Had obnoxious noisy guests on our floor and requested a change of room if the hotel couldn't resolve the situation. They offered a room on the same floor, but every room on the floor could hear these people until nearly 2am. Apparently they were spoken to but it didn't do any good. A decent hotel would have removed them. And then to add insult to injury (and it almost was injury!), the cord on the hairdryer which is so short that you almost have to stand in the bidet to use it, gave me a zap as it sparked and shorted out. Hotel itself is very dated.

Loved my time at this hotel. The location couldn't be more perfect for my needs. I loved swimming in the pool which never got that crowded and sometimes I was the only one so had it to myself. It was interesting watching the ferries in the port across the road from the room balcony. The beach wasn't far to walk maybe 10 minutes along the promenade and I had a great time jumping the waves. The little tourist train stop is nearby which takes you all around town and by the castle. The bridge attraction, park squares, art museum, restaurants and shops are all on the doorstep. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient and helped me with some scanning. You can hire a kettle and iron for your stay. The buffet breakfast is nice and has all your usual items, you can have your eggs made to order. They also have snacks and icecreams you can have in the bar all day. I loved my room it was calm and peaceful on the 6th floor. I had the best sleep and didn't wake in the night , better than at home. The beds are comfortable. There is air con in the room so it was nice to come back to for a little siesta. The rooms are big and the beds. There is a big cupboard and a few drawers for your things. The bathroom was nice with a bath, shower and some useful toiletries. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and I am looking forward already to coming back next year !

The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful, however, the hotel, it’s a long time since it was grand. Needs a serious overhaul. The internet photos are flattering/deceptive. We didn’t come to use the pool, it’s February, but that area is a building site. Only one night stay as a stopover from a longer trip. Wish I’d kept on driving. Room has furniture from 1970s era, laminate flooring is a right mess. Nice view of the port area.

Room was comfortable and functional. But no faculties in this hotel for ironing clothes. As a 4 star I would expect this facility in each room but there was not the facility in the whole hotel. It’s not like people travel to hotels and need to iron their clothes from their travel. Very disappointed
