Hotel berhampiran Parroquia de San Pedro Apostol, Almeria

El pasado fin de semana estuvimos en Almería y nos alojamos en los apartamentos Torreluz porque disponían de cocina y mi hija tiene graves alergias alimentarias, que casi ningún establecimiento hostelero tiene en consideración para q ella pueda disfrutar de una comida de restaurante. Al llegar al apartamento, el único menaje disponible eran vasos, una sartén con tapa y una pala de servir, no había cubiertos, platos ni kit básico para lavar la sartén. Al reservar en su día, expliqué las circunstancias médicas d la nena y me dijeron q no tenía q pagar el desayuno puesto q no iba a consumir. Cuando bajamos al hotel a desayunar, yo misma le llevé su pan, galletas, leche, fruta, fiambre, etc. Para q 'participara del desayuno buffet', le pusimos un vaso de zumo y enseguida se acercó una señora del comedor para indicarnos q si la niña consumía debíamos pagar (siquiera preguntó cuales eran las circunstancias). Por supuesto, le expliqué la situación, le mostré los tupper y la nevera con sus alimentos y a la salida me ofrecí a pagar su desayuno, pero me respondieron q no hacía falta. Solamente quiero hacer un llamamiento a la sensibilidad de las personas q atienden al público ante estas situaciones tan especiales, q no son moda ni capricho, y sobre todo cuando afectan a la infancia, q bastante desgracia tienen porque desde la hostelería no se atiende. En ningún lugar me había pasado antes y mi hija tiene 9 años. Siempre le he explicado q su enfermedad no puede ser una limitación para viajar o disfrutar del ocio en compañía. En fin, mi valoración no puede ser positiva ni recomendaré este hotel.

Cleanliness: The room and the bathroom was spotless and very spacious for the price we pay. Can not fault it at all Location: The hotel is on a corner of roads. It wasn’t easy for us to spot the first time when your driving. You have to park and walk, and then you will see a sign for the hotel. There is no free street parking unless you park after 2030-0730, but during the day you will struggle. The hotel provides parking but for an additional fee. There is also a supermarket next door that serves cheap or reasonable shopping items which we used. Service: The staff were lovely during check in and check out. The hotel had its own restaurant and the staff over there were lovely. Amenities: The hotel has its own private swimming pool on the first floor. It’s not heated so we didn’t use it as the weather wasn’t warm either. The room had towels and toiletries provided including a hair dryer. There was running hot water. Downside: I couldn’t say anything bad for about the hotel. For the price we paid, we experienced only the best. The only issue we had was parking since we didn’t want to pay the additional fee but other than that, I couldn’t complain about the hotel at all

I’ve stayed here for about a week on a business trip in Spain. The hotel is on Mediterranean avenue and close proximity to Mediterranean Commercial centre Mall. The Hotel staff is Very friendly Ms Patricia & Ms Loraine is very helpful for your questions and guidance about local visits. Breakfast provided by ah! was just wonderful and healthy. I didn’t feel at different continent during my visit. Didn’t had any challenges with food, local exploration. In terms of accessibility, You have bus stops at walkable distance and easily accessible to prime locations in Almeria. In total, I loved my time being at Almeria and Avenida hotel is just another reason behind it. Strongly recommended for Business visits and a very simple yet right choice if you’re planning along with family. Thanks to Hotel Avenida for a wonderful experience :) Hope to make a come back again 😎

Friendly and efficient check in. Nice modern hotel, rooms clean and spacious. Good location next to shopping centre and good restaurants and tapas bars within a few minutes walk, hotel bar very quiet , over all a nice experience with no complaints, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet with the usual selection of ham, salamis and cheese with bread and nice cakes. The hot cooked selection was adequate. A good hotel frequented by many business people.

After spending 3 days in the local Government hospital my wife & I stayed here for 2 weeks before we were repatriated back to the UK. Excellent hotel in a lovely area with amazing staff who were very attentive professional & extremely helpful - the manager was very supportive. The hotel is situated just outside the city centre but only a short walk away. Very near the hospital & a large shopping mall. The food was very good especially the breakfasts with a variety of choices on offer. Very near to a host of good restaurants/tapas bars which serve excellent & great value for money food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break at a most reasonable price.

Ein ganz ordentliches Apartmenthotel. Ich war schon öfter da. Dieses Mal war das Schlafzimmer recht schmal und ich hatte keinen Meerblick. Das Hotel war sehr überraschend voll. Das Hotel verfügt über eine gute Tapasbar mit günstigen Angeboten. In der Umgebung gibt es weitere Bars und Restaurants mit spanischen Gästen. Strand ca. 500m. Es gibt nur wenige Gratis-Parkplätze. Il n'y a que des éloges à dire comme avis sur cet hôtel qui est situé en bord de l'autovia.Les chambres sont neuves,le lit est immense aussi bon qu'à la maison,certe la décoration est innexistante,le personel est souriant,le petit déjeuner est dans la moyenne pour la catégorie d'hôtel.Notre GPS ,WAZE,GOOGLE ITINERAIRE ne nous ont pas indiqués le chemin à suivre alors pour les futurs clients l'hôtel se trouve à la sortie 800 de l'autovia dans un sens ou dans l'autre.C'est un bon hôtel pour séjourner deux ou trois nuits. Merci de m'avoir lu.

I’ve stayed at many Barcelo hotels over the past 7 years and this hotel has been my least favourite. The hotel itself is very nice however we encountered the following issues which spoiled our stay. Arrived early and was told we would receive a call once our room was ready. I had already completed their online check in and just had to sign and collect the keys. When we received the call and returned to reception there was a big queue and we had to wait 40 minutes in the queue to collect the keys. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in room 251. I had informed the hotel that the holiday was a gift for my husband’s birthday and they made no special effort to celebrate this. My key card did not work for 3 days, the front desk kept recharging the original key, a maintenance man changed the pack on the door and my key still didn’t work. On the third day I went to complain and reception finally changed the key for a new one which worked fine. This was extremely annoying as I kept being told not to keep the key near my mobile. I didn’t even have my mobile with me when they were recharging the original key and it still didn’t work! The safe was locked when we arrived, again had to call out a maintenance man to unlock it, another inconvenience. Housekeeping was generally good, it would have been better if our cups were replaced for new ones everyday. We didn’t have a do not disturb sign when we arrived and was woken up from a nap on our first day when staff dropped off some sweets, again another disturbance. We used the spa for a classic massage costing 75EUR each. The therapist was nice and polite but used no pressure whatsoever during the massage. The massage was literally someone rubbing oil on your skin and putting it on you cold during the massage. The water circuit is tiny and I would not pay to use it given how small it is compared to other Barcelo resorts. The biggest issue we experienced was with the food. The grill outside is used to prepare omelettes at breakfast, omelettes containing meat were cooked on the same plate as other none meat options such as fried eggs. This same grill was then used to cook fish in the evening. We could not eat from this section due to meat being prepared in the same area. My husband also saw the Chef at the grill inside the restaurant scrape down the meat and fish grill using the same utensils. Again we could not eat the fish from this section due to the exposure to meat products. This limited what we could eat throughout our stay. The hotel should segregate food into groups at the point of preparation and serving. Dinner opens at 8pm which is late for anyone who likes to go to bed early. Entertainment which tends to be outside starts at 10:30pm and will keep you awake. The surrounding area has some nice places to walk, cycle although the only cycle hire was closed during our stay. Been using this hotel for 25+ years, now go twice a year. Very Spanish, 90% occupancy from Spain, so if you don’t like noisy chaotic people don’t go. If you like traditional and authentic Spanish hospitality, food and friendliness then this is place for you. Clean, good facilities, beach front location, very good local bars. Tapas bars and restaurants, just enough shops. Miles of flat promenade to enjoy long walks. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming, not my cup of tea but lots and lots of activities for children and adults.
