Excelente e completo de serviço, mesmo numa época baixa em que se poderia supor uma diminuição na qualidade e disponibilidade de serviços. Antes pelo contrário!! Amabilidade e disponibilidade total, assim como o funcionamento das instalações. Uma experiência a repetir, talvez numa outra época do ano.

The hotel has a lovely position right on the edge of the ocean. The grounds and pool area are immaculate and well cared for. The gate at the bottom or the gardens lead to the beach and walkways. The 2 outside pools were too cold to use in November although some hardy souls did brave a dip. There was also a gym which was well equipped. The room we had was a good size with a balcony that looked out on the car park and road and out over Alvor. The air con/ heating worked well when needed. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were kept immaculately clean. A safe was provided as standard and there was a decent fridge. Coming out of the lift on each floor, there were chairs and a settee where people could sit and watch the ocean and the sunsets, read or play cards or join with other guests for a chat. The piece de resistance of the stay was the breakfast buffet. Everything you could possibly want was available - cereals, breads, pastries, cheese, hams, fresh fruits, yogurts, freshly cooked eggs to order and full cooked breakfast items. Fruit juices, Spumante and 3 coffee machines took care of refreshments. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside for breakfast every morning. Staff were always approachable and helpful and the whole place was very welcoming. Would definitely return to this hotel if coming to Alvor and would recommend it highly.

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful golf setting. Clean hotel, excellent catering, friendly service, pleasant prices. We will definitely be back. Beach maintained every day. We were extremely satisfied. We played golf courses Gramacho, Pinta, Silves, Alto, Faldo, O'Connors jnr, and Academy night golf. All wonderful.

This isn't a bad little hotel as it has close proximity to both the beach and the boardwalk plus it has a pleasing design with plenty of chill out spots. We booked a 4th floor sea view room that was tight for space but did the job adequately. The disappointing thing is that although the staff were very approachable and helpful they completely failed to address the food spillage that we were greeted by just outside our room on our arrival. I'm guessing that it was a room service spill and there were one or two others in the hallway but you can guess what it looked like and we had to step over it for the remainder of our ten night stay. I find that personally embarrassing because I wouldn't welcome a guest into my home in that fashion. On the whole this is a golfers hotel and aimed at that level of service so we didn't find it particularly suitable for a couples stay and probably won't return.

The Hotel is a bit older but very clean and the outside pool areas are immaculate with nice old trees. The breakfast buffet gets a three out of five very basic. The orange juice is not fresh. Dinner 0 out of 5. Absolutely horrible. Better go to Alvor for a five euro cab rate. I feel sorry for the cook who needs to cook here

Room was small. Had to shuffle sideways to get in and out of bed. Grounds were ok and a decent pool. Breakfast choice was limited. Should be a better variety of cereals and fresh fruit. Cooked food wasn't great. No complaints about staff. Nice touch was a chocolate cake in the room on my birthday.

my concerns and why i rated it so no tea / coffee facilities in room my shower in room 120 was pathetic , just a drip the whole con over the discount given at Bar for then to have a service charge added back on for Bar staff to just do their job !!!!! drinks werent cheap Food nothing special at breakie - no weetabix at partic busy breakfast times often food was empty esp juices juice glasses tiny !!!!! walk to Town is nearer 20 mins rather than 10 as stated

The hotel was great and the grounds, with direct access to the beach, were perfect for what I wanted. I really hope to return in future. And to the golfer I was unfriendly to on the train who visits here every January … sorry, it had been a long weekend with kids and parents.
