World Center

A slightly unusual place but we had a brilliant time. The communication is excellent, superb location and a great base from which to explore Amalfi It’s very quiet - unlike Amalfi town which is hectic. You must be prepared to pre-book a shuttle ( free) with the hosts which can be a bit restricting but the hosts are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The staff (Nicoletta and Yuri) made everything perfect for us

Ciao ! We just spent our holiday at the World one resort and have managed to take back home the warmth in hospitality provided by precisely Nicollet and Yuri. The omelettes and the bruschetta in the morning were one of the best we ever had. The shuttle service to the amalfi centre was always on point. I had forgotten my watch while departing and Yuri rushed in to send it at the centre. The kindest of people. The rooms are very neat and tidy. Everything on point.

This was a 3 night mother-daughter trip. I settled on this place due to the positive reviews and location not being terribly far by car from the city centre. We were not disappointed. Airport pick up was arranged through the hotel for a cost but made our transfer to the hotel worry free and the driver Giovanni kindly brought our luggage up flights of stairs for us. Nicoletta, one of the hosts and our main contact was absolutely lovely. She took the time to answer any questions and accommodated our needs whenever feasible. Uri was our free shuttle driver to and from Amalfi centre, about a 20 minute drive each way. No request was too much and we consistently felt looked after as though we were family. We also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Antonio, the owner. He too made us feel very welcome.

From the moment we were collected from the airport, the staff could not do enough for us to make our stay more enjoyable. The amazing view, the rooms, the lovely gardens, the hot tub was a great for cooling down and very clean and the free shuttle to Amalfi town, everything was perfect. They helped us with everything we wanted to do, like restaurants , beaches, trips and scooter hire. They were just amazing.

Quality updated accommodation high above the Amalfi Coast with stunning sea views. The modern rooms are well appointed with a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, bar fridge, room safe and a closet with room for suitcases. A pleasant breakfast in the garden each morning was a great way to start the day. There is complimentary daily shuttles to and from Amalfi which take about 10 minutes or so. Retreating up to the accommodation from hectic Amalfi was wonderful, where we also slept extremely soundly. Nicolleta was a charming host and recommended us a brilliant nearby local restaurant for dinner which we dined at twice. Yuri's shuttles were always on time. We would love to stay here again.

Discovering the World Center has defined my decision for going to Amalfi Coast. While planning to stay in Rome for 10 days, I was exploring options for a couple of days getaway to the coastline: from a short train ride to Sperlonga, Lazio, to a short flight to Nice, France... But when my online browsing brought me to pictures of the World Center's garden, where breakfast is served, and then I read reviews, my decision on booking my stay was made within a couple of minutes. And I was SO glad that was my choice as reality turned out to be better than on photos: a garden with beautiful olive trees and plants, a sea view - you feel like you want to stay there for hours; a serene view of the Tyrrhenian sea from your room's window with a local church's bell ring bringing this whole picture to a surreal level for someone like me, who is used to living in "urban jungles". Reacting to my posts, pictures, and videos, my friends from the US were sending messages with questions like "does this exist in reality?!?" My room was impeccably clean, spacious, and with a lot of space for my belongings due to a cleverly organized interior with a wardrobe, cabinets and shelves (that is very appreciated by people who has a tendency for overpacking - like me:)) During my stay I felt well taken care of, and as if I was staying in a family circle thanks to the atmosphere Nicoletta, Saverio and Antonio create there. Antonio was not just giving me a ride to Amalfi town center when needed (free shuttle service) but booked a wonderful restaurant for my dinner for both nights, drove me there, and introduced me to a restaurant manager. Overall, an incredible experience and place which you don't want to leave. While some part of our nature is into discovering new places, places where you felt amazing and had a delightful experience in the past convince our entire mind that returning there is much more worthy. And the World Center is this kind of gem that makes you want to go back. Ci vediamo!
