Hotel ini sangat besar dan terdapat agak ramai orang yang menginap semasa percutian Thanksgiving kami. Bilik ini cukup besar dan kemudahan asasnya cukup baru, tetapi terdapat lapisan skala nipis pada semua jenis kaca, yang mungkin berkaitan dengan kualiti air. Semasa tempoh covid, sarapan hotel adalah menghantar kotak pembungkusan dan pergi bersarapan seperti kantin. Terdapat pelbagai jenis donat, kek dan buah-buahan untuk makanan sejuk, dan telur hancur oatmeal, sosej dan kentang goreng untuk makanan panas. Hampir tiada tempat letak kereta percuma di hotel. Terdapat garaj di seberang jalan dengan bayaran 7 yuan sehari. Terdapat banyak (lebih daripada sepuluh) tempat letak kereta jalan di pintu. Ia percuma sepanjang hari pada hujung minggu dan malam pada hari bekerja.

Booked this hotel last minute after a nightmare experience at another hotel. Staff here was very friendly & accommodating. Rooms could use updating & a little work but at least they were clean & it was quiet.

We stopped for a driving break and found this hotel with easy access to the interstate. The rates were good and the hotel was very pleasant as was the staff. The breakfast was free and good. My extra request of a high floor and away from the elevator was honored.

Our king bed ”suite” is roomy enough but bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. It could use a thorough deep cleaning (walls a d floors) as well as ceiling paint/repairs. Moisture is causing ceiling paint to peel in corners above the tub. The deadbolt on our door would not latch. Positives include convenient access to interstate, microwave and fridge in room which are clean, working AC albeit somewhat loud. The desk clerk at check-in was friendly and helpful.

Hubby and I stayed one night at this hotel. We arrived late, 10:30pm, after a LONG day on the road, looking forward to a good night sleep. We are Titanium Elite customers and booked with points. My profile requests a quiet room. We were given room 401 which was in the corner nearest the freeway and across the street from a truck stop so I heard truck engines, horns and brakes throughout the evening. The bed mattress was okay. There were two greasy foot prints on the carpet but otherwise the room appeared clean. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was a grab-and-go bag consisting of a small juice, small yogurt, a pastry and an apple. The pastry was inedible. West Texas water is difficult to drink but the only bottled water offered was at a cost from a machine in the lobby. Front desk clerk in the evening and morning were friendly.

Booked 2 rooms, both smelled like cigarette smoke

I was at the 1Hotel July just days after the 4th. After reading reviews , my decision was it was a 50-50 chance of having either a great or terrible experience . It sounded interesting at the very least to see this historic hotel and the price was great. It did not disappoint . I looked for the dreaded bugs or any kind of shabbiness . Yes the room upstairs near a large cherub statue had carpet that smelled a little musty at first but it was a very large and comfortable room with ornate surroundings . The pool had water but I never saw anyone in it during my short overnight stay . The staff was very friendly and pleasant at all times. Negatives can only be found by whining about the fact that I thought it was on walkable streets as I had imagined . Yes the parking lot had a few questionable people in it at night . What public parking lot in a large city doesn’t ? The strangest thing to me was seeing the dining area tables and floors were cleaned by 9 am and I saw no traces of people or food or coffee . Final analysis - seems a little other worldly and is extremely nice despite price and some bad reviews .
