Hotel dengan Sarapan pagi di Amiens

We chose this hotel using a gift voucher from our son. On check in we were advised the hotel was full due to the rugby and the room we were allocated although not the best it did have a balcony. We entered and could not believe the state of the carpet. The bathroom needed complete replacement. Balcony seemed unsafe to stand on. Bed linen was fresh and clean. All staff pleasant. Breakfast buffet good with nice coffee. Refuse room 22 until completely refurbished. .

This is a convenient hotel for a short stay in Amiens. It’s very close to the station and we parked our car in the secure car park which is underneath the hotel. Entrance in rue de la Vallée. You then take the escalators up through the shopping centre to the hotel. It cost us 9€ per 24hours. We stayed 4 nights which was too long, as the rooms are small (17sq m.) and our room with a queen size bed had very little space to move. There was nowhere to put bags apart from in the doorway, and a few coat hooks would have been useful. The bathroom was very good. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful.

We were looking for a stop over that was close to Calais after a weeks trip around France. I would certainly recommend Amiens for that. The Ibis in Amiens is a bit worn and needs a refit. I have stayed at Ibis hotels before and although budget, they are normally better appointed than this one. Despite this, our welcome was by far the best out of all the hotels we have stayed in during our trip. There is a car park at the rear which is quite an experience if driving a right hand side car. Very scary! Social distancing and covid precautions were good, indeed better than the five star hotels we stayed in. The room had a very comfy bed but all looked a bit dogeared. The bathroom was tired but the shower was great. In fairness, it was just what we wanted and expected. The Ibis is a five minute walk into the town. Great shopping and the light show at the cathedral at 10pm is a must. The restaurants by the river are great but do your homework as there are better and cheaper places to eat. We would return.

We came here as a base to visit the university. Really great location. Jules Verne Citadel campus is in walking distance. The decor is a bit tired but clean. Would come again. We were on the top floor (11) and had spectacular views. Rooms can be either twin or double. Kitchen is small but adequate for a short tourist visit. Microwave, hob, sink and fridge with freezer box. Wi-Fi was good. Staff good.

早餐有麪包、果汁和冷盤，沒有一道熱菜，香腸或炒蛋都沒有。周圍環境一言難盡，在火車站旁邊，即使是人來人往的晚飯時間，也有着相當多閑散人員，入住期間每天都有閑人坐在酒店門口樓梯上，和城裡安全整潔的區域感覺差別很大。房間裏床佔了一大部分，過道較窄，居然沒有一個書桌或者像書桌的東西能擺下一台筆記本電腦。進門不插房卡一點亮光都沒有，趕着回房間拿行李時重重絆倒在地。總而言之，設施和環境不理想。

J'aurais dû lire les avis sur Google et TripAdvisor avant de réserver dans cet hôtel. Ce n'est pas du tout insonorisé. Du coup, vous êtes réveillé à chaque fois que quelqu'un rentre dans sa chambre. Vous entendez les portes claquer, les clients se disputer. On a entendu un homme sortir dans le couloir et dire ”Vous allez fermer vos ... ? ” puis un ”c.... !” On ne sait pas s'il faut en rire ou en pleurer. On est rentrés à 23 h 15. On n'a pas parlé dans le couloir. On a retenu la porte de la chambre pour qu'elle ne claque pas. Malheureusement, d'autres n'en ont rien à faire des gens qui dorment ! Sinon, la chambre est très petite. Une fois que vous avez posé vos valises, vous ne pouvez plus circuler. Pour ce qui est du petit déjeuner, ça peut aller : on a du fromage, du jambon, des pains au chocolat, des croissants, des madeleines, de la salade de fruits, des yaourts... Si on revient à Amiens, on cherchera un autre mode d'hébergement !

Après la lecture de nombreux avis négatifs, j'ai hésité à réserver. Mais ayant un petit budget, j'ai tenté. Eh bien, je suis ravie de ma nuit reposante de cet hôtel. Ma chambre donnait sur l'arrière et je n'ai entendu aucun bruit ni de l'extérieur, ni de mes voisins ! Elle est de confort simple et propre. La jeune femme de la réception est très agréable. Je conseille cet hôtel.

This hotel was great! Far, far better than its two-star rating would suggest. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was within 10 minutes of the main station in Amiens and another 10 - 15 minutes to the restaurants alongside the main canal. It was very quiet at night. There was only one possible downside. There are some major buildings being constructed nearby and work starts soon after 7.00am. I visited in mid-May 2023 and I would imagine building work will continue for at least a year, I didn’t find it a problem but I had to get up about 7.00am. There was quite a lot of machinery noise and vehicle reversing. It might be best to ask for a room on the side furtherest away from the building works.
