I chose this hôtel as I was travelling from the UK to see Dépêche Mode at the Ziggo Dome. And stayed two nights. Jaz in the City is just steps away from the Ziggo entrance so you can’t get any closer! It’s also great as a base for Amsterdam sightseeing. From the airport there’s a direct train (hotel is a 10-15 min walk from Bijlmer ArenA station). You can also hop on the metro here for a 20 min ride to Centraal. As Amsterdams public transport is so good (compared to Bristol in the UK where I live) you can confidently rely on it to get you wherever you need to be efficiently! Staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. From front desk, bar, restaurant and housekeeping. Everyone (thankfully) spoke English which is ideal for me as I can just about say hello and thank you in Dutch! Special shout out to Mr Omelette Maker at breakfast. The perfect start to a day of sightseeing!! I’m sure they’re are cheaper options but I’m of an age where I understand that you get what you pay for. This hotel in my opinion is great. It looks good, is super clean and well maintained and importantly ＜feels＞ good.

Like many guests here, we only stayed for one night before an early flight the next day, but it was a great experience. When we arrived by Uber, my wife and I were planning to just relax, eat in the hotel restaurant, and get up early for the airport. But, when we got in, my wife's arthritis in her knee really flared up after a week's worth of doing a lot of walking on the trip. She was struggling greatly in the lobby. I asked the front desk if they could help out and the manager immediately found a wheelchair we could use to get my wife to our room. He helped her into the chair, pushed her into the room, and helped her get settled in the bed so she could set some rest. And rest we did. The bed was extremely comfortable and even being close to a highway, the room was quiet enough for us to get a great night's sleep. And I guess we could count sheep to fall asleep as there was a literally sheep grazing outside our window. We truly appreciated the care shown to two people who just passed through the hotel because they had a free night certificate. We were treated like we mattered. And we all matter!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ibis Styles Hotel in the Netherlands, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The room itself was impeccable – clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing me with a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The amenities provided were also top-notch, with everything I needed right at my fingertips.
One aspect of the hotel that truly stood out to me was the attention to detail. From the stylish decor to the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, it was clear that a lot of care and effort had gone into creating a welcoming environment for guests. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit every palate, ensuring that I started each day off on the right foot.
Overall, I cannot recommend the Ibis Styles Hotel enough. It truly is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the Netherlands. In my opinion, it surpasses all other brands in terms of quality, service, and value for money. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the area.

Our bed were changed from King size to 2 single beds. The single beds is terrible, but bed frame like not fit, when u make a body turn, the bed will move also. And my partner feel the bed is not clean enough. The room is big but feel very empty. TV is not working the first few days, after we make ask then they change new remote, then everything is fine. Love the body shampoo smell. Location is close to Sloterdik station. very convenient to take train,tram,bus,metro. It is not as busy as Centraal, but not many options of food surrounding. Spar is the convenient shop we must pass by everynight we come back to hotel. U can get food and drinks there. We get salad & fruits before heading to hotel everynight.

We are so glad we chose this hotel. There is shuttle bus to Airport, and airport to the central is convenient and fast.
Most importantly, Christian the staff at reception was amazing. He was so sincere, we have enjoyed Amsterdam thankful for his informations. And other staffs were all smiling and nice.
The room is so clean. Perfect. Would like to stay here again.

I enjoyed my short stay in this lovely hostel which I choose due to close distance from Schiphol airport as my flight was early morning. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed polite and helpful staff. They explained to me how to get to the airport by public bus as they do not have free shuttle. Be advised that free shuttles of other hotels do not usually run before 6:00 AM. Also they gave me wake up call in the morning. The room and bathroom big enough, bed very comfy for good night sleep. The room temperature can be self-controlled, the window is impossible to open. WIFI worked well. There is a restaurant and mini market next to the reception and lobby. Due to the early morning flight I did not have a breakfast which is served from 6:30. Bus stop just 100 meters, up the bridge. Ride to the airport just 5 min, you pay by credit/debit card.

On the positive, wellness is very nice, team tries to be helpful and beds are comfortable.
On the negative, first room faced street with lots of noise even on the 4th floor. Asked for a room change which they provided to a quieter but a bit smaller room. No issue, it was quiet 😅.
In the morning however I noticed a big black bug on the crispy white sheets - less fun that surprise in the morning but hey, we are close to water.
The bike I rented from the hotel is a good brand, however poorly maintained - tyres pretty flat and left brake didn’t function.
On the hotel info sheet was mentioned that welness opens from 06.00 to 23.00, however at 6.30 only fitness was open and swimming pool only as off seven.
No bathrobe or slippers available in the room which was very enjoying seen you have to take lift and cross hallways to reach wellness at 2/3 floor.
Finally the surroundings are convenient (close to train station) but it is a super touristy part with nothing for the visitor who is looking for authenticity. In summary, I had high hopes for this hotel but will never return despite a great swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Too Bad

Hotel staffs: friendly but maybe a little bit impatient when I checked in. They asked for my name, and I want to show them my booking. They just repeated again “you only need to provide your name.”
Room: very cozy and tidy and clean. The space is not very big but enough for 2 big luggages and still have space to move around. And desk is big enough to put all my facial products and Mak up. The washroom is clean and the water is hot enough. And the shower is good and the shower area is big enough. But no door for the shower place that makes the water wets the mattress and bathroom get wet easily. It’s the only thing I can find it not good. Others are very good. The bed is very comfortable especially after a whole day outing and get tired. I will miss the bed badly.
Lobby: the lobby is spacious and the sofa is comfortable. I wait for the train there.
Location: very near the train station zaandam, just a few minutes walk. And takes around 15-30 mins to central, it’s very convenient. The place is quiet, I can have a good sleep every night.

PPengguna TetamuThe aparthotel is very nice. However, I need to share my disappointment to the hotel reception for being very rude upon checking out. I supposed to check out at 11AM, the staff knock my door around 10.30AM, I told him I am sorry but can you give half an hour to check out as I just finished my meetings online. He said yes no problem. Another 20 mins, a lady knocked on my door with a very rude attitude. She asked me to get out now. Like now. I told her give me 5 mins I am almost done packing. She said now, you gotta come out now.
I rushed myself and went to the reception to check out and apparently she’s the reception .
This is very rude and never had I experienced something like this from a hotel

PPengguna TetamuIo e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato in quest’aparthotel per il nostro soggiorno ad Amsterdam. Sebbene situato nella località di Amstelveen, questo hotel è in posizione strategica: è infatti ad una mezz’ora di mezzi sia dall’aeroporto sia dal centro di Amsterdam, trovandosi a 5 minuti a piedi dalla linea 5 e 25 dei tram ed a sole 4 fermate dall’interscambio di Amsterdam Zuid. I monolocali sono puliti e dotati di tutti i comfort. Unica pecca la mancanza di ciabattine monouso e forse di accappatoi (sono comunque presenti asciugamani). Il letto è comodo, ma i cuscini un po’ piccoli. In quanto aparthotel, le pulizie sono settimanali. Non abbiamo provato la colazione in struttura, ma il personale è sembrato molto disponibile. Lo consiglierei per un soggiorno ad Amsterdam.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a wonderful stay. The staff were excellent, the breakfast was super tasty, and the rooms were very comfortable. However, the pillows were too soft for me, and the dishes in the room's kitchen weren't very clean when we arrived. The price was good for the Amsterdam area - you will struggle to get rooms this spacious for a similar price in the city. Despite being a fair way out from the centre of Amsterdam, is was a hassle free tram ride to get in to the centre, so it didn't feel far away. Overall, I would recommend Cityden Zuidas if you want a bit of extra space and the option to cook your own meals.

The room is comfortable and there's everything you need to cook in there if you prefer that. One complaint that I have is that when the person next door closes their door, you'd feel it on the bed's headrest.

PPengguna TetamuWe didn’t want to stay in the heart of Amsterdam itself so booked here. I’m so glad we did. Situated just in the outskirts in a lovely quiet town. We were still very near to the bus station to get us into Amsterdam. It took approximately 20mins. There are also shops and restaurants near the hotel. We are in the local Cantonese which I highly recommend! The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The room we stayed in was on the first floor at the back of the hotel overlooking the canal. Both my husband and I had wonderful nights sleep as it was so quiet. Toiletries and coffee are also supplied. Breakfast is fresh and filling.

It’s a bit out of the way in a not great part of town, but as long as you’re careful and not out alone after dark, you should be fine. But still, it’s only about a 10 min walk to the metro station! The service was excellent and we got exactly what we paid for— a clean but small room with a private bathroom. If you don’t mind the space constraints or location and want a cheap but excellent stay in Amsterdam, I’d highly recommend the diamond capsule hotel!
