Ulasan Swissôtel Amsterdam

Perfect location as it is located right on the main streets where all the hustle and bustle is at yet quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Service was impeccable as the staff were all helpful and friendly. Amenities wise, we had a kettle that was rusty but that got replaced quickly after we made a call to the reception. The air-conditioning wasn’t the best either but the very efficient staff helped to fix it and it was much better for the subsequent nights. Room was pretty dated but quite well-kept except the bathroom where the underside of the toilet seat was not cleaned and had visible stains. Overall a relatively good stay at the Swissotel and would recommend to all!

Although it needs about 10 mins from central station, it is indeed a very good choice. It’s very easy to walk to many attractions. Especially the royal palace is just near by. The room is good, the bed is also perfect! Every employees are kind and helpful.

Excellent location and excellent staff, tram station (Dam) just in front of the hotel.

The hotel is near tourist attractions. There are a variety of restaurants and cafes near the hotel. The l rooms are beautiful, big, and the service staff is very good.

Lovely hotel situated near the center, offering warm and welcoming service. However, the beds leave much to be desired in terms of comfort. The pillows, in particular, are of poor quality, making for a less than ideal sleep experience.

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to many of the tourist attractions, such as the red-light street and China Town. A convenience store is only a one-minute walk away with lots of shops and little coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The customer service is friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel room is spacious with all amenities provided. There is a gym on the 5/F and an Italian restaurant. Breakfast is cozy with adequate choices of food. The coffee served is nice. Highly recommend this hotel!

When we checked in (4 nights) we were informed that the AC was not working and the temperature outside was 30° that weekend!! All the rooms are advertised as having AC. A fan was provided and staff helpful but it was just far too hot and stuffy, it was that bad the next morning I looked for another hotel and got a refund on the remainder of my stay, although I was charged full price for the 1 night I was just happy to leave!! I went to Inntel and that was much nicer.

My mother in law has suffered a heart attack. So I contacted the hotel by email and still to date I have not received a reply. I also contacted trip.com and they contacted the hotel and told me. They are not budging from their policy. So to the traveller. I would strongly avoid booking this hotel. Dreadful service
