Delightful experience all around! This is the epitome of what you would desire of an European boutique hotel. The decor captivates you and draws you in to relax and enjoy! The rooms are clean, the staging is perfection, the breakfast was outstanding. The staff was beyond welcoming and helpful. We can’t wait to visit another Maison Elle property!

I stayed at this hotel three times and the third time I was unlucky :( Room number 4 was stuffy and smelled of chemicals. I was surprised by the condition of the walls and the various types of damage. But the most unpleasant thing was the black hair in bed and in the bathroom. I didn’t photograph every hair because there were a lot of small ones (I’m blonde). Mixed feelings, because the first 2 times the hotel was pleasant, but I can’t forgive the hair in the bed

Great hotel, nice place and friendly staff.everything new, charming decorated and with a lovely garden. Quiet neighbourhood , 5 minutes walking from the center and close to Vondel Park .I will be back in my next visit to Amsterdam.the bed also confortable

Unfortunately it is less boutique, and more budget without the corresponding price. There’s a distinct lack of attention to detail. I stayed for 4 nights in a comfort room. Pro: 1. Good sized room Cons: 1. No body wash or conditioner when I checked in. Took until my last night for conditioner to be replenished despite daily requests. 2. My room door initially didn’t lock and needed to be reset by the front desk staff. 3. I understood that free breakfast was included upon booking some months ago. Upon arrival, policy seemed to have changed and now breakfast is an additional cost. 4. Cleaning seems to be outsourced to an external company. The room cleanliness was questionable with stains on sheets and on the carpet. 5. Accessibility- the hotel is in an historic building so even with an elevator, there are some narrow steps to navigate if you have heavy luggage or mobility impairment. 6. Expensive for what it is at €255/night. I stayed at a deluxe 5-star hotel in central Stockholm with daily buffet breakfast/gym/sauna for the same price. 12 min walk to most tram stops for main attractions in central city. Public transport to/from airport involves walking+bus or tram+train, and while doable is a little cumbersome with luggage or in the rain. I would look to stay elsewhere if I returned.

Lovely, quiet boutique hotel with lovely staff. We had a garden view room and I could not imagine a more peaceful place to stay in Amsterdam. Excellent location for exploring the major sights and good meal options nearby. The only drawback is, like most places to stay in the city, public transport from the airport is not a good option. It was not a great issue but we couldn’t get the TV to work. Maison ELLE is upgrading its technology and I am sure they will sort this out. After a day exploring the city, the comfortable bed and a stylish room with a view was all we needed.

Absolutely beautiful. In a gorgeous location with great tram connections. Lovely staff, with well appointed rooms which are also decorated to a very high standard. It has a very cool relaxed atmosphere and we definitely want to stay here again.
