a very nice hostel, solo traveler friendly. located in rather the centre part of the city, public transportation is just one minute away, restaurants & supermarkets are within walking distance. facilities are okay, but the cleanliness is five stars.

Very beautiful location of the hostel, near big zoo, a bit aside from the noisy city center, but still approachable by public transport. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

My first stay at this hostel was quite enjoyable. Despite being my first experience in a dorm setting, the staff's politeness and helpfulness made me feel comfortable right away. The cleanliness of the facilities was commendable, ensuring a pleasant stay throughout my two-day visit. Additionally, the hostel's convenient location near a tram stop made it easy to explore the city. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I would recommend this hostel to others seeking a comfortable and accessible stay.

Very nice place to live no matter you are a single traveller or travel with friends. Everything is good, the bed is clean and comfortable. The toilet is tidy. And the staff is nice and willing to help. They also serve a cup of hot tea when I am first come there which really warm me a lot. Also, it is convenient, you can find the tram station just walk 1-2 mins.

Very clean, no hair in the bathroom. the surrounding is quiet. Tram 14 at the door takes you straight there. 20 minutes walk from OBA library and 30 minutes walk to Amsterdam center.

Amazing place to stay! Good location, super clean, very private to be a hostel

First hostel that I stayed in Amsterdam! Location was ok, walkable to the city center, and next to the Zoo. Staff were nice and friendly, I stayed in the female room, the bed was clean and comfy, toilet and bathroom were good too! Highly recommended to all female solo travelers.

a bit out of touristy area, there is a old coffee shop close by, try that, staff usually friendly although they are rotating and you might get different experience.

Great experience here. The lockers are too small for large suitcases, but that wasn’t a problem in the women’s dorm. They make you make your own bed aswell as ***** the sheets and deliver them at check out. It can be a bit of a challenge if you are tired after a long day of exploring and assigned to the top bunk, or have any physical disabilities. The welcome drink was nice. There is a little cafe at the front that sells small meals and drinks.

Great to stay a night when in Amsterdam for work

The environment is decent and is clean in general. There’re welcome drink and a check-out gift. Convenient location, has tram from the central station directly.

Good staffs no complaints over the service. BUT too loud to have a good sleep as People stay this place has no morals and no consideration for others. (Maybe it’s European standard..)

This was the first hostel I ever stayed in. Not located at central, but easy to get by tram 14 which is a few steps away. Check in was easy. The common area was small but nice. At check-in, a bag with my towel, pillow cover, and sheets was handed to me. I stayed in the female dormitory which is next to the reception desk. I liked this, as a solo traveler you think of safety all the time. This eased my mind. Everywhere (front door, dorm door, and locker) requires an electronic bracelet to open. The bunk itself is nice with a locker, a shared place to hang any clothing and under bed storage (shoes and bags). Large luggage people sat outside the bunk area and it wasn’t too bad of a traffic jam. It is tight but manageable to navigate the dorm. Only two showers and two sinks. I thought it would be lines to use everything but there wasn’t and the hostel was at capacity. I didn’t have to wait for anything as far as the bathroom amenities. Bonus points for the shower floor squeegee you use after showering since it’s a wet room setup. The bunk has a comfy mattress, I slept very well to the hum of white noise. There is a motion sensor for those moving about that’s lit dim at night or bright during the day. The blackout curtain didn't make light a bother to me. I only wish there was a small folding tray inside the bunk so I could rest my phone or laptop on. Provided are bike rentals, toasted Sandwiches, coffees, and other snacks and drinks. You can charge all to your bunk and card on file. Due to the common area width, if you plan to work it may be distracting with foot traffic or loud conversations. For the person who likes comfy corners and no need to be in the bustle of main tourism like myself, this is a great spot. But not a big selection of eateries which stay open late so keep your meals in mind.
