I have stayed in this hotel for many many times since 2016, it was Ramada back then, I have never being noticed as a regular customer , more than that , the reception manager **** is extremely rude and awful, I have never had such a bad experience in any hotel let alone the hotel that I like and attached with, they really should hire a better person for the reception and make the hotel better

Nice comfortable rooms and helpful staff. Beds are very cosy, slept well. Good desk in the room to work from however the Internet is very poor in the room making it difficult to do more than send basic emails. Not good enough speeds for netflix for example and any websites with high security don't work because the signal keeps cutting. However in the lobby it is fine. That's the only let down really. All else was good. Like the heater in the bathroom!

The bedroom is spacious and heating bars in the toilet is excellent. Love the cleanliness of the room and hotel. Nice service staff in the breakfast room. The guy opened up the buffet breakfast at 6am for us, 14paxs to pack our breakfast for our onwards early journey to Paris. Tqvm ya🥰🙏. Strategic location, just beside the train station.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Amsterdam. It is 35 minutes ride via tram 17 from the central station, but you might have to wait it for about 10 minutes, and there is a 15 minutes walk from tram stop to hotel, so you are looking for about 1 hour to get from hotel to city center. It is a residential area, and there is nothing interesting nearby though you can eat at a very decent Sahan restaurant. On the other hand we saw rabbits and geese near the hotel :-) The room and bathroom were really large, there were beds, a chair, and armchair, a desk, a small round table, a dresser, a closet. The breakfast cost 14.50 euro. and it was excellent. There were hot items (scrambled eggs, fried bacon, kidney beans), cheese, sausages, fruits, pastries, different type of bread, juices, etc. The room and bathroom were clean but the cleaning team cold do better (I accidently dropped a cotton ball on the shower floor and found it on the next day on the same place). Unfortunately there was no tea/coffee in the room. You can buy tea at the reception but it would cost 2 euro. There was no refrigerator in the room. The staff is nice and helping customers providing maps etc. The hotel located about 15-20 minutes from the airport which is also convenient for visiting Keukenhof gardens.

About 15 min easy walk from Sloterdijk station where you have the Flixbus and French Blabla bus station and railwaystation to go to Amsterdam Central or Schiphol airport. Rooms are standard Ibis rooms, clean and comfortabel. Breakfast was very good and always well topped up. I found the check in staff extremely friendly, as well as the staff in the hotel bar. Really nice staff.

I really enjoyed my stay here and the main reason is the service. They allowed me to check in several hours early to catch up on some sleep, no extra charge. I also checked out a bit later to catch up on sleep, no complaint or penalty fine. However, beware, it’s a nightmare getting taxis back to this hotel late at night from downtown, so plan your night out carefully. This is more of an Amsterdam specific issue.

Me and my friend booked this hotel as there were good reviews, which is very important to us as we came from Norway to stay there for 6 days. It was also our first time in Amsterdam and were not familiar with the location. We were first checked into a wrong room than the one we had booked, and were told that we could move the next morning to another one. After we were moved to a bigger room, they told us we had to pay 50 euros due to the ”cleaning from the other room”, which we expect to be included in the price we already paid for our stay. Never experienced this before. Some staff don't smile, don't say hello, and looked strange at us when we walked through the reception. The next days our new room was not cleaned at all, one day they only came to make the bed, the next day they only came with new towels on the door. One day the cleaning lady also rushed in without knocking while we were in bed, which we thought was very unprofessional. We did not feel comfortable or safe at all staying here. We will not be going back here. Location is also pretty far from the centrum

Positives: The hotel was clean and tidy, no clutter or mess. Shower was great in the en-suite, large shower head. Coffee machine in room was great, could have done with more coffee pods than one a day but otherwise was good. Modern room. It was a pleasant hotel, we felt safe and the room was adequate Good transport routes into city centre (average 30 min travel time) NEGATIVES: Booked a double room and received two twin beds. Informed they only give doubles to those who book directly with them, if you're booking with booking.com you will receive two twin beds. Requested a double duvet, told they didn't have any spares and wouldn't be possible. MATTRESS WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Only given one square pillow on each bed requested an additional pillow and was told it would be brought to our room, upon returning that night the pillows hadn't been brought up. Checked with reception who informed us that housekeeping had gone for the day, she didn't have keys as she was night staff and we would have to wait until the morning. Just unfortunately the bed situation with it being so uncomfortable, that was a deal breaker. It gave us both such bad backs, we were unable to fully enjoy our holiday as we weren't well rested and suffered with back ache for most of the trip. Would not return to this chain of hotels. TV only has two channels. No spoon given with hot drink section. Staff were nonexistent. Don't bother trying to speak to any housekeeping staff member as you will get ignored. Sink design was flawed, very shallow bowl with a slant so anything you poured it would come gushing out onto you. Claim to have a 'luggage storage room', don't be fooled. This is merely an under the stair cupboard in their foyer which isn't locked and is accessible to all. No individual areas for people's luggage, it all gets thrown on top of each other in there.

I recently stayed at a hotel that offered a pleasant and comfortable experience. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, and it had all the amenities as described, including a kitchen area with a microwave. This was particularly convenient for me as I preferred to prepare some of my meals. One of the highlights of my stay was the good view from the hotel's roof. It provided a lovely vantage point to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Additionally, the roof also served as a designated smoking area. Another feature that I found useful was the presence of a minimarket or minibar within the hotel. The hotel offered laundry services, although it was at an additional cost. For a reasonable fee of 3 euros, I could have my laundry washed, and an optional 3 euros for the use of the drying machine. While this added expense was a minor inconvenience, it was a convenient option to have available. Overall, my hotel stay was enjoyable. The cleanliness of the room, the available amenities, the good view from the roof, and the convenience of the minimarket/minibar made my experience comfortable and satisfying. I would certainly consider staying at this hotel again in the future. In addition to the aforementioned amenities, the hotel also provided a convenient free luggage drop-off area. This option proved to be extremely useful as I arrived before the official check-in time. Instead of lugging my bags around while waiting for my room to be ready, I could securely leave them in the designated area. This allowed me to explore the nearby attractions or grab a bite to eat without the burden of carrying my luggage.

Lovely looking hotel, SOME great staff. Nice rooms. When we arrived the two people on reception were nice enough but laughing with each other at some sort of personal joke or maybe us god knows just wasn’t very professional . I was told I had to pay €67.00 tax charge and asked why as this is my first time in Amsterdam I was not made aware of this on my booking and she basically said you just do. Ok then! Room was stinking badly of body odour when we got in that lingered for the first two days so we opened the window. I found Silverfish in the room yuk not what you want to find in a hotel room. Would not say I’d go back although it is a nice looking hotel. It has so much potential with proper management

The room was spacious and clean. It was little bit cold because the room was too big. I think it’s nice if you are here with your friends or family since all the kitchen wares are equipped. The room smelled like curry so I wish they had a diffuser….

Where to begin? This is a hostel, so you are sharing with 10 other people. Think long and hard about that before you book. Do you snore or make other nocturnal noises that will keep others awake? Maybe look elsewhere. I mention this because yesterday I checked in this hostel hoping to spend the night. It's got great friendly staff. On the whole it's clean and tidy. Result for a cheap night. Went off out in the evening, found something to eat. It was all going well. Then it was time to sleep. I'll be honest the weather is warm, so the room was warm, not a deal breaker at this price range. I was on my bed by 10 and ready to sleep, a few members of the room already in bed, one snoring. At midnight after everyone else came in, did their thing I had to get out of bed to turn off the lights for them. It was after this with some dark it becomes apparent that the snoring wasn't going to stop. Eventually I got up maybe half two. Went to the reception, got a beer. I was asked if everything was ok. I explained about the snoring, and was shown the TV room by the receptionist. I was overjoyed. A quiet and cool room to rest. I finally found some sleep in the TV room. So I'd imagine if the folk you're sharing with aren't snorers this could be a perfect way to see some of Amsterdam. Once again big thanks to the receptionist team. Really appreciate your help and thoughtfulness.
