Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Andamans

We had been contemplating an Andaman trip for a few years. However, we didn’t go ahead with the plan as the accommodations and facilities weren’t promising enough for our “ideal fancy holiday” randomness, which by the way, we were so wrong to assume. This we had not realised until this summer when we actually took our big step to explore the ethereal island no matter what. And, what a holiday it was! Without a second thought, we would credit our amazing holiday experience to the Taj Exotica Resort Andamans. From pick-up on Day 1 to welcoming us at the reception, room allocation, briefing on various preferred activities, local tips, drop-off at the ferry on our last day, and many other arrangements, the services were impeccable. Oh yes, they really know how to pamper their guests. Some of the little gestures which absolutely took us in awe: 1. An entourage of cheerful smiling faces welcomed us with earthly humility the moment we were seated at the reception lobby. 2. The service heads personally joined the group to welcome us giving it a very personalised experience. 3. Welcome drinks were tender coconut juice from real coconuts presented in flower-shaped handmade jute baskets. A 1000-point for the eco-friendly and creative thought! 4. A soulful welcome song (in local language) by the entourage. The song was about Andaman and the island’s beauty. 5. The ‘chilled-out’ check-in process, unlike the usual long formalities at 5-star properties. It was all done even before we realised, all while we were seated at the huge airy reception lobby sipping our coconut water. 6. When they heard that it was my bucketlist wish to do scuba on my birthday, they arranged for a special scuba diving slot despite all regular slots being full. 7. A complimentary framed photo that completely took us by surprise. They took a photo of you after your check-in process was complete. In the evening, they came and handed the photo placed inside a delicately shell-decorated frame. 8. A surprise goodbye flower bouquet by the housekeeping staff, made from flowers grown at the property garden. 9. A surprise bon-voyage cake-cutting arrangement after breakfast on the check-out day. 10. A surprise manta ray memento from the Taj as a bon voyage gift before we got into the car for our return journey. 11. And this one is our favourite and the sweetest ever: the entire staff crew dropped us at the car and bid us a heartfelt goodbye by waving with both hands and kept waving until the car was out of sight from the property. Why you must stay in Taj Andamans if you are planning for an Andaman Island(s) trip: 1. The property is built with eco-consciousness. You will find centuries-old heritage and iconic trees inside the property. 2. The property has private access to Radhanagar Beach. It pretty much feels like a private beach because no one really walks to this end of the beach from the public access area. 3. I had one of most wonderful experience at Taj Andaman!! The property as the name suggets gives an exotic experience. The high tea at beach side with the sunset is the highlight of the stay!! I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend the place if one is looking for a perfect getaway!!!!

Had the most amazing time at Taj Exotica.. The staff was extremely hospitable. Special call out to Abhishek and Manoharath for being great hosts and making us feel at home. Taj Exotica is several cuts above the rest and definitely one of the best properties we have ever holidayed in. We loved the fantastic food,the breathtaking view of the sea, the scenic pool, the clean n fabulous cottages . Overall it was a wonderful experience for the entire family and we look forward to our next stay with the Taj group of hotels.

To see god in play, see the sunset at Radha nagar beach, and sunrise at Kalapathhar. And at the same time feel being in heaven in this beautiful exotic place by Taj. Luxurious rooms, everything top notch... would have loved some better food but i think i will let that one go. The snorkel and the fun at elephant beach makes me forget a few things... Good one Taj... you did well with this place... as a member... i find happiness whenever i visit any Taj property... and a pride.. for the Tata group.. by the way... loved simply loved the pool!

Beautiful property !!! Great team !!! Exceptional service.. Full of pleasant surprises Service from the entire team was exceptional. We would like to in specific mention the great care, support and warmth extended by Ayan(Manager, Front Desk), Mahendra (Restaurant Manager, Shoreline), Wasim ( Trainee) that will force use to choose to stay at TAJ everytime we plan a holiday. Mahendra & Ayan were exceptional, and Taj is so lucky to have such great leaders leading their teams. Right from the time we landed to the time we left, the entire team at Taj took such great care of us and made us feel at home. The care extended by Mahendra (Restaurant Manager) without whose support we would have missed our Ferry to Neil, he made sure everything was organized for us to leave. Splendid experience, and would like to stay connected with him and the entire team for long. Thank you Taj for the wonderful wonderful experience !!!

Everything was a 10/10 from the welcome to the good bye. We were greeted with such warmth by Ayan and team. The coconut water welcome and song by the team was great! It's worth exploring every corner of this amazing property. The room we stayed was luxurious and the experience was amazing. Overall, a great stay and experience.

Customer Service - 10/10 Wah Taj!! Best service Location - 10/10. It is located in a gorgeous beach voted 7th best beach in the world by Time Food - 8/10. Very good. Loved the food. Just wish there was a tad more choices & variety. Room - 9/10. Our 2-bedroom suite room and pool villa was Excellent. Some rain water leak in villa - mostly due to condensation. Wish there was a desk/table in each of the bedrooms. Hot water was not coming first 2 days but was remediated when we reported it.

Veera was very good. Ayaan also did good. At breakfast forgot the name parbhat or something like that he was also caring At reception coconut 🥥 water was given which was unique experience Property was very good. Food was excellent But Veera was above all

Good staff ..overall all at its best.. very warm welcome and good gestures provided by the staff Would recommend to all .. special thanks to VEERALAKSHMI from sales.. Food was good .. we stayed in 2 room villla .. highly recommended for family with children
