Hotel Manzanito

So surprised by this hotel, only rated 2 star but located in a dabulous square with fabulous view from the balcony. The rooms are large with large bathrooms and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we woukd definitely go back.

We arrived at the Hotel and were greeted by a very helpful Girl on the reception desk , check in was easy , The room was a double bed with en suite and a small juliet balcony over looking Plaza San Sebastian , disappointingly the cups were polystyrene , there was no coffee and no milk , only 2 teabags and 2 apple tea bags , we discovered later that evening that the walls to the adjoining rooms were made of a very thin material as our neighbours were extremely noisy and didnt consider anyone else on the floor , sleep was short lived whenever they returned from their evening out , there wasnt a telephone in the room to call the desk and complain, overall not the best experience and i wouldnt recommend this Hotel

Great location, basic hotel and very reasonable priced. Room clean. Fragrance in hotel is overpowering. However really poor customer service. This really lets the the hotel down which is such a pity.

The check in and welcome at this hotel was great. The woman at the counter had no English and we have only very basic Spanish but we managed to check in with no difficulty whatsoever using google translate. The parking was a little bit complicated (mostly because the streets of Antequera are mostly one way and a bit complex) but the hotel provided us with a Google link that made navigating to the parking super easy. The rooms were large and comfortable and included by far the largest bathroom we encountered on our 6 week trip around Morocco and southern Europe. They also had a lovely view out across to a square and church. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and just a short walk up to the view points, castle, cathedral and other great points of interest. We really enjoyed the stay here and would recommend this hotel as comfortable, great location and excellent value for money.

I stayed for two nights, with my husband, in May. We had the triple room (3 single beds) which made for a large room. It was furnished with the basics, shared nightstand, wardrobe, a small chest of drawers and a chair. It was brightly decorated in white and silver, and a kettle and polystyrene cups were provided although no fridge. The en-suite bathroom was a reasonable size with modern décor. Within the shower cubicle there was a soap dispenser and nothing else – no hooks or shelves. I get frustrated when trying to use facilities when there is nowhere to put shampoo etc. The hot water fluctuated from freezing to burning hot also, however, the pressure was powerful. There was a small Juliet balcony overlooking the square which gave a quaint outlook. The beds were okay: we managed to sleep but they were not the most comfortable. We hardly saw any staff, other than a person on reception, hidden behind a screen. Our check-in and out was purely functional without any interest, it appeared. The location is perfect for exploring Antequera but there is very little parking close by. The hotel had no other facilities, so we ate breakfast out. There are several bars within sight, right outside the hotel.

Lovely location in the middle of town. Good value for money. Big, modern bathroom. Very clean. Friendly and helpful reception staff. I would have liked net curtains on the window so that we didn't have to keep the curtains drawn which was a bit dingy - our window looked out at ground level to an inner courtyard/laundry where staff were coming and going. I would also have liked a kettle as advertised. Overall: I would definitely recommend as a very good budget hotel. Thank you!

Hotel de dos estrellas en el centro de Antequera. Hotel modesto, humilde, pero con todas las comodidades. Desde las dos chicas de recepción, que son encantadora, hasta las habitaciones. Nos hemos alojado en una con dos balcones con vistas a la Plaza de San Sebastian. Hotel con todo lo necesario. A tener en cuenta que el aparcamiento que se nos facilita, con cargo, está a unos trescientos metros. Pero si no os importa lo modesto de un hotel con todas las comodidades y, como digo, en el centro de Antequera, este es sin duda el que debéis elegir. Aunque no tienen servicio de restauración, cerca encontrarás todo lo necesiario.

Lugar tranquilo , ubicado en la plaza principal, con parking, y muy atentas las administradoras. Te dan un código por si sales de noche, y lo que le pides, te lo consiguen. Tien3 lugares en comun oara relajarse y su wi fi funciona excelente Volvería!!

We hadden mooi uitzicht op het pleintje en je bent op loopafstand in het centrum van het stadje, maar daar is dan ook alles wel mee gezegd. De kamer is kil, sober, heeft te felle verlichting, er is niet veel ruimte, en er hangt een onaangename geur in de badkamer. Er hangt een donkere sfeer in het hotel.
