The people were nice but the ac machine was just near your bed.

The staff is so kind and helpful. Kyan helped me with essentials when the airline lost my luggage. The whole team made sure I had a great experience. At the hotel restaurant I had amazing service from Ben and the rest of the bar team. I appreciate all their efforts to solve my travel issues.

Our family was in DC for the burial of a family member in Arlington National Cemetery. You can’t beat the location of this hotel in proximity to Reagan International and the cemetery. It’s also a short ride to most of the DC attractions. Food was great at the restaurant, although a little on the pricey side. We had a special family dinner in a separate room the last night we were there and the hotel was very accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. One small issue with no valet later at night was disappointing to us when we returned just before 10pm to find no one outside to valet our car and the front desk letting us know that they went home for the night. There’s the different between a 4 and a 5 star experience.

First time at this hotel for business. We used the meeting room for a class and this staff is top notch. The friendly warm staff at the desk was amazing and helpful.... Rob, Jackie, Krystal, and the breakfast bar ladies Patricia and Saba were so sweet. George the banquet staff took the cake. He was so helpful and made sure everything went smooth for our training. Lunch was on time and flawless. This staff went over the top. Great location to walking out for food or coffee. Clean rooms.

Here is our checklist on our hotel stay here: Room-very big room. Dining area with fully working kitchen. Carpet is old but clean. Bed-comfy and sheets were tucked in nicely. Soft pillows Refrigerator-yes full size Microwave-yes Breakfast-yes great selection for breakfast Bathroom-clean Toilet-clean/doesn't clog Shower-great water pressure Air-condition - works good/not noisy Smell - no weird smell. Its old but they maintain it Area is safe and close to Washington DC View-no view in the room but at the breakfast have the view of the capitol in DC Pool - no pool at this property Built-1966 renovated 2011 Price-$205/night/summer/weekday Overall, I would stay in this hotel again if we visit DC. Location is not in the middle but its only a few minutes drive. Its also convenient for public transportation. For the price per night and parking fee compared to staying in the downtown DC, this is a great option. Very very old hotel but if they continuously maintains the cleanliness and offers the same great amenities, this is a place to book. Would highly recommend this hotel especially they have a full kitchen.

My flight was cancelled so I needed to find a place to stay. The location was very convenient for DCA airport, either by metro (2 stops) or car and connected to the mall. Following Ritz Carlton’s standard, all staff was incredibly respectful, caring and attentive without being stifling. Ordered in-room dining for dinner and it was okay, but nothing special. Presentation and service of it was impeccable. When checking in, I was unexpectedly upgraded to club floor, which was very kind of them, especially after a long day of canceled and rebooked flights. Please be sure to treat the staff kindly, as it is the right thing to do. If I am in the area again, I will happily return.

We stayed there for one night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast there and it was good. We went to the bar and boy is that gentleman there the nicest and so personable. This hotel was located in a good area and we walked to the train station to get into see the war memorials in DC. The parking situation was one I did not agree with. We got in late in the day. We paid the $33 (if I remember correctly) and thought that it would be for a 24 hour period. We checked out the next morning and we were billed an additional $33. Truly, for me, that is a bit much/gauging. Other than that, we would highly recommend a stay there.

Nice hotel . Big problem with the air conditioning but they give us a bonus.
