Loved being near AT&T Stadium. The hotel is close to Texas Live with several dining and nightlife options available nearby. Free parking at the hotel is included with plenty of spots. Nice restaurant and bar onsite. Will stay here again.

Made a reservation on my BonVoy app. Checked in to my room on the application. After a long day of travel with my family we arrived after 9pm only to find out our room had been given away. The front desk said he had accidently given it away before he realized they were 100% booked and was in the process of sending me an email (as if I can check an email while driving across Dallas at night). I asked if he could find me another Marriott property nearby given, I have 25+ years of loyalty to Marriott and 450+ nights. He called his manager. After a few moments of discussion (which included talking about rooms that weren't clean which brings up a whole host of other questions), I was told since it was a ”computer glitch” and ”latency issue” the manager nor Marriott had no obligation to help me of my family. He had already told me he didn't change the system to 100% occupancy... not sure that that has to do with the computer when that is human error. All I asked was to simply find me another Marriott (i.e. pick up the phone). I was polite and calm the entire time. They declined. My wife (who has MS and can barely walk) and kids took our luggage into the parking lot and drove next door to a non-Marriott hotel hoping to find a room. They only had a single room, so I put my disabled wife and kids in that room and rolled in 2 cots for my kids. The manager overheard me discussing with the front desk clerk about my experience at the Aloft down the street. She came out and asked if there was anything she could do for us. I told her no, we were just hungry and tired. She offered to go get us dinner. I declined and told her I would go get some burgers or something for everyone after getting my wife and kids settled. I had to find another hotel room for myself after all. After being in the room about 10 mins we got a knock on the door. It was the manager with 5 burgers and fries from Wendy's. My wife was almost in tears. Aloft should hire that manager away from the competition. And I have no status and asked them for nothing. I tried to pay her repeatedly and she refused to take my money. I then drove down the street looking for a place for me to stay and found a Residence Inn. They ended up having a Queen Suite that my entire family could have stayed in had the Aloft manager and her clerk had enough courtesy to pick up the phone. But they weren't ”obligated” as they stated. I ended up staying in a 2-bedroom suite by myself and paying for 2 hotel rooms, over $550 + tax, all due to the Aloft's lack of courtesy and empathy. Ironically enough, I work in software. These days every major corporation can only use buzz words like ”customer 360” and ”personalized experience” when describing the wants and needs for their consumers. But this experience with this particular Aloft and leadership (or lack thereof) only proves that what took 25+ years of loyalty to build between me and Marriot can be severely damaged in a matter of minutes simply due to the fact of someone

BEWARE! Worst Stay Ever! Damages, Roaches, Bugs Beware! Read for more details… I was placed into a smoking room even though I don’t smoke. I inquired if I could be placed into a non-smoking room, but was told that they were fully booked and would have to pay $60 for another room. I asked if I could be placed in the same type of room just that it’s non-smoking vs. smoking…. Sasha, front desk staff said, “I have another room I can place you,” which was odd that she stated she was fully booked, but then found a room to move us. I didn’t want to question it further, and so I moved from Rm. 115 to Rm. 109. The odor in the room was still very horrible. It wasn’t as strong of a cigarette scent as Rm. 115, but I figure I guess it was slightly better. However, I then went to the restroom and the door could not close as the hinges were broken. I told Sasha if I could have something written on paper acknowledging that she is aware of the damaged door and to make note that I should not be responsible for it. Then I started to notice that many other items in the room were broken. There was no smoke detector, which I found disconnected in the dresser drawer. There was no iron and the ironing board was broken. The cable wiring outlet plate was broken, and cable wire was not properly connected due to the busted plate, so the television didn’t work. There was no signal. The desk chair was broken, the dresser top was damaged, hole in the wall, drapes ripped, bedding with holes to name a few damages. So I went back to Sasha and told her about all the other damages, which she acknowledged she knew of. I gave her back the letter to include the other damages, and so she added another sentence stating that I would not be responsible for any damage in the room as she acknowledged that she was aware of all the damages, which puzzled me as to why she would still place me in a room that was not properly maintained. Nonetheless, I stayed there as that was the room I was assigned, she already moved me, and she did mention she had no other available rooms previously, so I figured I’ll just stick it out as she acknowledged that she was aware of the damages, but that I am not responsible. However, to make matters worse, the night I checked in, I was sleeping and felt something crawling on my arm, a HUGE ROACH crawled on me and bugs were on the bed. After, screaming and flying the roach off my arm, I had to grab my shoes to smack/smash it dead! I called to have new bedding, but was informed that housekeeping was already gone for the night, so Sasha, who was still there, and apparently is the daughter of the owner’s sister brought me new bedding which I changed out…. that night, I didn’t want to sleep with the lights off as I was too afraid to have more bugs crawling on me. Yikes! Scary and Worst feeling ever. I couldn’t get a restful sleep with the lights on and I was pretty petrified that other bugs would come out if the lights were turned off. Althou

We had four families staying here for Spring Break. We chose this place because it was close to Six Flaggs, had a basketball court and indoor pool for the kids to play in. Court was great the first night, but second night was overloaded with a church group from the adjacent hotel, that they share the court with. No problem, so the kids can go in the pool, nope, it was freezing and indoor! Apparently the heater for the hot tub was broken, I assume it heats the pool too. On Wednesday we were told it would be fixed and still wasn’t on Saturday when we left. But at least we had the basketball court. First night our large group was able to hang out in the courtyard. Again fire pitt wasn’t working. And never got fixed while we were there. Last night was colder but there was enough room for us to spread out in the lobby. Snack for purchase area was good, they probably should have planned on stocking up since it was spring break for most of Texas. But kids could still find a few things. Breakfast, eggs every day, they were good. A different protein every day. Typical waffle maker, muffins, cereals, milk. No potatoes, and no fresh fruit. Fruit cups don’t count. That was a surprise. I’ve always seen bananas and apples at free breakfast buffets. Staff was nice. The guy there the first day, Joshua?, he was extremely nice, helpful, courteous, great guy. Two bedroom suite was great. Not new, not too old. Clean. Kitchen was stocked with a few things you may need. But bring large trash bags and dish soap for washing dishes if needed. Fridge has an ice maker. Beds were fairly comfortable. Pillows were all different types so you can hopefully find one you like. Location was great for restaurants and felt fairly safe. We would stay there again. Just hope the pool items were fixed.
