Hotel Svizzera

Cons: very tired furniture in room, needs replacing, and no kettle (we took our own, but only 1 socket in the bedroom and one in the bathroom). The parking is not actually on-site but at a sister hotel around 400m away and is really tight to access. We now have a small Jaguar XE. If we still had the larger XF model we might not have fitted. Pros: Great beachfront location near the end of the pedestrianised area, which the hotel can pre-arrange access for, to drop off luggage (freely accessible until 11am daily, so also no problem to load the car when checking out). We had a sea-facing room with balcony. Bed was comfortable and we weren't disturbed by internal noise. Air-conditioning worked okay, but we didn't use it much as preferred to have the balcony doors open. Other: Breakfast is standard 3* continental - okay for 3 days but couldn't take it for a week. Needs more variety of bread, meats and cheeses. We dined out in the evenings so cannot comment on the restaurant food. Staff: Great communication both before and during our stay. Check-in was a breeze and they explained how to get in after hours, how to use the lift, directions to parking. Receptionist at the sister hotel was super patient and helpful getting us parked. We usually use 4* & 5* hotels but booked last minute and chose Svizzera for its location and parking. For a 3* hotel, it was pretty good, apart from the furniture.

Terrible. They confirm family rooms for 5 people, upon arrival they said that the rooms are for a maximum of four. Still had the audacity to demand extra payment for breakfast. All inconsistencies in the booking are explained by the poor performance of the Internet platform through which we booked (*******.it). Everything is old, the rooms are small, the air conditioning did not work.

Very friendly and helpful manager, we were running late, traveling by motorcycle, so we were a tad nervous, but he waited and knew exactly who we were and took good care of us, showed us how everything worked and made sure we were comfortable. This place is very well maintaned and have the beach and lots of restaurants in close walking distance. If you are considering this hotel, you dont need to hesitate. Go ahead and book it!

I like the place but it is a bit basic. The staff are friendly and breakfast (included) is good. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but functional. The rooms with balconies can be a bit noisy but have great views of the beach. Good value for beachfront access.

Posizione decisamente invidiabile con camere affacciate sul mareù; struttura piccola, economica, essenziale, Stanze pulite che offrono una discreta qualità del sonno, anche se, essendo sulla passeggiata a mare, è da verificare nel periodo estivo. Accoglienza gentile ed efficiente, buona la colazione a buffet. L'albergo è dotato anche di ristorante: peccato non averne potuto usufruire a causa del poco tempo a disposizione, visto che il breve soggiorno era correlato con una conferenza di lavoro.

Personale molto gentile. Struttura semplice ed accogliente, con vista sul mare davvero invidiabile.

Ci siamo stati lo scorso weekend ci siamo trovati benissimo personale molto molto gentile e cordiale, la camera era vista mare veramente un bel posto ci torneremo sicuramente. Unica pecca non c'è il frigo in camera anche se non è obbligatorio per chi soggiorna è utile.
