Hotel Arpora dengan Gim

Had planned a trip to Goa to celebrate my son and wife’s birthday. We stayed in DoubleTree by Hilton, Arpora. We had a great stay in the hotel. Both the rooms were very clean and spacious. We had booked stay with breakfast and it had a good spread of north and south India cuisines with a section of Goa specialities. The staff were very courteous and welcoming from the security, to staff at the reception (Special mention: Nikam, he’s everywhere 😄) and in the restaurant. House keeping and room service were quick to respond to any calls made for assistance for room for food and cleaning. I would like to make a special mention of Ms. Stacey who helped us make the birthday celebrations a memorable one by arranging for decoration of the Roblox theme items my wife had purchased, both Debtosh and Rocky did a fabulous job (check for the pics). Ms. Stacey also helped me arrange the cake both for my son and wife from the bakery associated with the hotel. I’m not a big fan of sweets, but I must say both the cakes were just fabulous. She’s a great planner and wonderful follow skills. She left no stones unturned to make the birthday celebrations an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Stacey! Thank goodness we decided to turn our backs on TUI and go with our instincts and past experience’, after all the issues and offers of alternative accommodation we could not bring ourselves to turn our back on the MD and how pleased are we that we didn’t listen to all the negative reviews given by those that obviously don’t realise a good thing by listening to a holiday company that are only after one thing. How can this place be compared to other hotels? The location, the staff, the scenery can NOT be matched by any other accommodation in GOA. That’s my opinion and the opinion of my family and all the negative reviews that the hotel has become anything other than what we have had over the last 18 years is totally inappropriate, nothing has changed apart from not as ***y moaning British as previous years. O and the mini bar doesn’t get stocked unless you can actually be bothered to ask and then they will gladly stock it no problem. The TV doesn’t have a 100 English Channels but none of us come to the MD to sit in the room watching TV. Whilst the rooms are dated they are clean and bedding and towels changed daily, again rooms being dated just gives people something to moan about because surely no one comes to the MD to sit in the rooms. Also a lot of Indian guests this year really enjoying there holidays that also seems to give an excuse for people to have a moan, well if u don’t like Indian holiday makers in there own country it’s maybe time you stayed at home in the cold weather watching TV with the heating on. To all the staff at the MD keep up the good work as we appreciate you as much this year as we have for the last 18 years. Our flights are already booked so see you all next year 👍👍👍.

We are regular guests at RESORT RIO! Whenever we as a family choose goa, resort rio is all we decide on without having any other option. Thats the kind of hospitality we love from them that makes us choose resort rio everytime. Our resort rio visits are every 3 months.Mr Francisco, Mr ashok, Tushar, Anthony, Shouvik have been so kind and caring. Loved the way they took immense care of us. Amazing food. They are fantabulous and professional. Anyone who really wants the best of everything in terms of stay and food, RESORT RIO it is!
