Hotel berhampiran Pico El Retriñón , Techo de Sobrescobio (1862 m.), Asturias

Es la tercera vez que nos alojamos en Tierra del agua y no será la última. Para mí lo más importante y lo que nos hace repetir cada vez que necesitamos un finde de desconexión es, además por supuesto del entorno y los bonitos apartamentos, la calidad humana. El equipo es familiar, encantador y siempre nos ha dado una sensación de buen rollo que hace la estancia aún más agradable. El restaurante , aunque tiene una carta muy pequeña, tiene una atención excelente y muy buena calidad de producto y el desayuno no puede ser más rico, una experiencia de desconexión perfecta, nunca me cansaré de recomendarlo. We have been coming to Spain for over 27 years and during this time we have stayed in some good hotels and some where we have questioned the 5 star rating. Our tour of Northern Spain concluded with 2 nights in Palacio de Luces which is possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed in across Spain. There has clearly been huge inves**ent across all areas. Our room was immaculate and the quality of furnishings surpassed many of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in. The views from the public areas are stunning,made more impressive by the floor to ceiling glass screens. We would normally dine out but having sampled the restaurant on our first night we rebooked for a second night. The food was superb and the staff all took real pride in delivering great service. Last but not least the spa area looks like it was built yesterday. It is immaculate, peaceful and a wonderful addition for guests tired after a day exploring the local towns which are very hilly! ( comfortable shoes are a must). Thank you to all the wonderful staff. Your hotel is an absolute gem which we are delighted we stumbled upon.

This is a 3-star hotel in downtown Oviedo. It is centrally located, close to main sightseeing and restaurants. It is also very close to the bus station. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Staff at the hotel is really nice. Tge reception is opened from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.

Buen hotel el con muy buena atención, limpio, con aparcamiento y tranquilo a pesar de estar cerca de la autovía. En mi caso, fui en grupo y solicitamos una habitación más para re ubicarnos porque al final venía un viajero más, más tarde que el grupo, y no hubo problemas, es más nos querían mandar a la camarera de planta por si las camas estaban deshechas, ya que nos habíamos tumbado después del viaje. Un detalle esas pequeñas cosas. Habitaciones renovadas y buen buffet desayuno.

Recently stayed here for a few days. Location is fantastic as it is only a few minutes walk to the old town. However, if travelling by train/bus, it’s about 15 mins walk (with luggage). I appreciate and am grateful that they let us check in early (before midday). My room key card didn’t work the next day so had to get it renewed daily which was a pain (not with my travel companions key card who had a different room though!). There were a few steps into hotel reception and a few steps again to get elevator access- I think they should really have a ramp. Room is otherwise clean but a little dated. I don’t like that the hair dryer was attached to the bathroom wall and put in a corner where it’s difficult to access as the bathroom is fairly compact. Otherwise overall a pleasant stay.

Lo primero es que el hotel está en un magnífico sitio, soy minusvalido y voy en silla de ruedas el hotel está totalmente adaptado para nosotros, la habitación es muy amplia y permitirme decir que muy bonita, el servicio de limpieza estupendo, los recepcionistas excelentes muy amables y resolutivos, la comida muy buena. En mi primera experiencia en este hotel ha sido maravillosa y seguro que volveré a él. Recomendable 100%

Stay here for 2 nights The hostel is located in the heart of the historic centre Oviedo, just one street away from the bustling Plaza de la Constitución and City Hall of Oviedo. The hostel is about 15 minutes walk from the main bus and train station in the city and pretty easy to find once I find my way to the city hall. Check-in was really straightforward as the hostel asked me to check in online and all reception needed was my passport to confirm my identity. I was shown all around the hostel, including the kitchen, common area and of course the dorm. The dorm was a four bed dorm with 2 bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub. The shower and toilets worked well. The bunks were the wooden frame variety, although it was pretty sturdy. Even though my bunkmate was a bit of a night owl, I still got 2 nights of good sleep. The mattress was some kind of thick foam and really comfortable. The covers were thick and I had asked for an extra blanket. Even though it was cold, it still felt warm and cosy under the blankets. Breakfast was provided and mainly consisted of cereals, toasts and spreads, tea and coffee. Nothing fancy, but good for the price of the stay. The kitchen and plenty of utensils as well as cooking equipment, and could be used by guests for cooking too. The hostel is also situated on two floors, with the upper floor also containing rooms, a kitchen and a terrace. It was too cold to use at this time of the year, but I did wander up and it has a lovely view of the city hall. The hostel, room and bathroom were kept clean throughout my stay. The staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. They have lots of information for things to do and see in Oviedo and the surrounding area. I would have no hesitation staying at Green Hostel again.
