Spain is a gorgeous country. The people warm and friendly, the sights entrancing, the food unsurpassed. We have been to Spain twice, once in October 2016 pre-pandemic and once in October 2022. During both trips we had the absolute pleasure of staying at La Zoreda. Each time we had an exceptionally warm welcome from the front desk. Massimo and Stephanie made us feel like returning friends. They were warm and engaging speaking perfect English to our hesitant Spanish. The rooms are first class. They are spacious, beautifully appointed and impart a feeling of tranquility the moment you enter. At night the windows open to a breathless silence with just a hint of breeze ruffling the silk curtains making the beautiful embroidered butterflies dance and lulling you into dreamland. The breakfast is excellent, with gorgeous food shared in a wonderful room overlooking the back garden. I particularly like the warm milk they bring for your café con leche. But I save the very best for last. The dining room is outstanding and favorably compares to the best we have enjoyed across several continents. The first night we dined there we ordered off the extensive menu and had a memorable meal. For our second night, we booked the chef's choice special menu and were not disappointed. Not only did he design the menu, but it was printed out with each of the seven courses. It was heaven! The octopus was exquisite, a true taste sensation; the cream of garlic soup smooth, flavorful, each mouthful sensational; the pork perfectly roasted with the outside crackling with flavour. The dessert an eruption of exquisitely blended sensations of fruit and chocolate. Javier was the consummate host leading us through each course matching cocktails and wine with each course. Stephanie to our surprise and delight, provided a glass of champagne to kick off the entire evening. Although the setting is exquisite, it is the staff, the chef, Massimo, Stephanie and Javier who truly make this an unforgettable experience. If you are planning on a trip to Spain, La Zoreda is a destination that must not be missed. We were looking for golf courses and comfort- instead we found a home away from home and a lifetime of memories. We will make a point of returning.

This is a 3-star hotel in downtown Oviedo. It is centrally located, close to main sightseeing and restaurants. It is also very close to the bus station. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Staff at the hotel is really nice. Tge reception is opened from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.

Hotel 4 estrelas, bem localizado. Staff atencioso e simpático. Localizado no calçadão dos restaurantes e bares. Quartos bem confortáveis e limpos. Excelente café da manhã com frutas a disposição. Recomendo a hospedagem.

We've never seen such an awful bathroom where it's already written in the stone that there gonna be water everywhere! The shower is simply not a shower and they know because they put many towels , aware that you're gonna use them to prevent the water going everywhere (see picture and you will understand...). On top of this the sink is not a sink, but a shower head!!!! In addition to this, the area where the IBIS is locates is awful and gives the impression to be dangerous. I would not recommend a stay in this hotel, unless first they decided to treat people respectfully giving at least showers that can be used.

Para ser un hotel 4 estrellas, no está a la altura. Habitaciones pequeñas, mobiliario muy estropeado. Primera vez que paso frío en un hotel, en febrero y la cama sólo con sábanas y una manta fina en el armario por si tienes frío. La calefacción no funcionaba. Camas incómodas, se notan los muelles y sólo disponen de una almohada baja, sin posibilidad de tener dos tipo de almohada según el gusto. Y juntan dos camas para hacer una de matrimonio pero sin frenos por lo que se separaban una de la otra. Desayuno cutre, no quedaba casi de nada y tampoco reponían con frecuencia, zumos de bote, café aguado. Si tuviera menos estrellas no estaría mal pero el nivel que dicen tener, no lo tienen por ningún lado.

Recently stayed here for a few days. Location is fantastic as it is only a few minutes walk to the old town. However, if travelling by train/bus, it’s about 15 mins walk (with luggage). I appreciate and am grateful that they let us check in early (before midday). My room key card didn’t work the next day so had to get it renewed daily which was a pain (not with my travel companions key card who had a different room though!). There were a few steps into hotel reception and a few steps again to get elevator access- I think they should really have a ramp. Room is otherwise clean but a little dated. I don’t like that the hair dryer was attached to the bathroom wall and put in a corner where it’s difficult to access as the bathroom is fairly compact. Otherwise overall a pleasant stay.

Probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, the staff are great very helpful and friendly, the restaurant must be one of the best restaurant in town, the bar is very plush and totally relaxed, The 12 oclock check out is really useful . Will definitely come back

Hotel estupendo cerca del centro. Habitacion espaciosa, con tres camas y almohadas comodisimas. Todo súper limpio. Calidad precio estupendo. Cenamos en la cafetería la noche anterior. Raciones grandes. Un solo camarero muy agradable para todo el servicio de cenas que se desenvolvia estupendamente con todas las mesas. Volveremos seguro cuando nos acerquemos a Oviedo.
