The hotel staff is very accommodating to all of your stay needs. Every has a smile and makes you feel welcomed everyday. The hotel grounds is clean, well kept and many walking paths with beautiful foliage. The food is excellent and the rooms have spectacular views of the Nile River and the city of Aswan.

The Basma Hotel Aswan is a mid-range hotel that offers a comfortable and convenient stay in Aswan. The location of the hotel is ok, with easy access to the city's main attractions and the Nile River. The staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to provide assistance and recommendations for things to do in the area. The rooms at the Basma Hotel Aswan are decent with comfortable beds. However, the rooms are a bit dated and could use some modernization. The bathroom facilities are functional but could also benefit from some updates. The hotel offers basic dining options, including a buffet breakfast that is decent but not particularly outstanding. The rooftop restaurant is a highlight of the hotel, offering stunning views of the city and the Nile River. However, the food quality and selection could be improved. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and a rooftop terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the views. Overall, the Basma Hotel Aswan offers a comfortable and convenient stay in Aswan, with a friendly staff and good amenities. Magical property in magical land. Extremely professional and accommodating staff and service. The ground floor spa equally impressive where I enjoyed full body massage on consecutive days. One small issue with thermostat was dealt with promptly and to full satisfaction. I don’t believe you can improve upon The Old Cataract in any stay in Aswan..

We only stayed at the Basma Executive Club for one night on our way across Egypt in April, 2023. The hotel upgraded us to a bigger room, which was very nice especially for the price. We ordered a family studio and were upgraded to a suite! We got in pretty late but were able to catch the buffet for dinner. We sat outside by the pool. They kept the buffet open a little later just for us since we were the last ones arriving there. They were even walking us through to show us what they had. It was really great service all around. Everyone was as nice as could be. In the morning before we left they also had a fantastic breakfast as well. We had a taxi take us to Abu Simbel which is only about a 3 hour drive from the hotel. Great hotel for anyone who wants to explore Aswan and be close enough to also visit Abu Simbel!

1, location: very good. Not far away from train station (1km) and 400m from KFC (ferry point). 2, Room a bit old 3, no WiFi 4, Breakfast is good. 5, The reception has nearly no clue about the Abu Simbel tour. They will probably offer you private tour but you do have other choice. Try going to Hotel Philae (400m from Hotel Obelisk) and ask the tour there.

This hotel is one of those ”5-star hotels” in the city, and it offers nice views of the Nile River, and on top of that, they also own the other side of thstreet through an underground passageway. That was actually interesting to see. The pool was pretty cold and a welcome relief for the sweltering heat during our stay in Aswan, in the mid-40s! The staff helped us assist in our luggage and did not ask for tips afterwards. Finally! Professionalism right there! The breakfast was of great quality and also offers a nice view of the river. The breakfast room has an outdoor balcony seating if you want that fresh Sahara air! One downside though was that the washroom was pretty dated and you can tell by how old the door was due to repeated exposure from humidity. Also, their spa is not free unlike my hotel in Cairo. The staff were initially excited that we went there to have fun, she even turned on the music to set the mood, only to find out that the service was paid and we all rushed out of there. Haha that was funny!

Its a giant hotel complex, and located in the south of the town centre, but love it because it was during their supposed off-season and they surprised us with an upgraded to a huge 2-bedroom corner suite! To say they did everything to make us feel welcome and helpful would be an understatement! From evening falukas and day-tour drivers to Unfinished Obelisk and Abu Simbel and even our last minute on-the-spot 3N2D Nile Cruise to Luxor! We made some great friendships and won't forget them! Thank you Aswan!! Negative: The evening menu..but I chalk that up to being the off-season, and not effort on the staffs part..because they were all helpful. Negative: No place to make small change with large bills or currency.

The choice of accommodation in Aswan was varied, but I wanted to find something special. And it was during my research that the Nubian Palace, in Nubian Village, came up. How wonderful it was to arrive at the hotel, do the check-in while drinking a welcome hibiscus juice, and then find a wonderful room Nubian style. The bedroom, with 2 super comfortable single beds, also had a desk, chair and closet. Outside the bedroom, but within the area corresponding to the bedroom, in a small patio also with a table and chairs, was the private bathroom with shower. On the first morning, because I had a trip to Abu Simbel that started at dawn, the hotel prepared some breakfast boxes that were very useful. Furthermore, all the meals (open air) I had there were very good and in large quantity. Last but not least… The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and efficient. They contributed to making this experience at the Nubian Palace a very successful one, which means that I definitely want to return there again in the future.

Highly recommend 👌🏻 The place took my heart from the first moment ♥️ Everything was on point .. the location was so great to relax & chill out .. which is better than waking up everyday on a nile view .. they have beautiful nile view rooms .. the staff was very helpful, friendly & always smiling .. the housekeeping staff was perfect & so clean .. their oriental breakfast by the nile was more than amazing .. at last, Special thanks to shaimaa & hager for their beautiful spirits ♥️

의도치 않게 숙박하게 되었는데 이집트 일정 중 가장 좋았습니다. 호텔 부지가 매우 크고 건물과 객실 인태리어도 만족스러웠어요. 다만 식음 업장과 버기 서비스 등은 정식 개장 전에 개선해야될 것 같습니다. 수영장도 리조트 전체 규모를 봤을 때 몹시 작아요. 그치만 너무 아름답고 재방문 의사 있습니다.
