Upon arrival, after 3 pm, our room was not ready. We were there to attend an event nearby, and it was important to my wife and daughters to have time to get dressed and ready for this event. Our room was ready after 4pm which made this stressful and rushed.
After the event, I tried to have food ready for them and not only waited over an hour at the rooftop bar for our food, but was repeatedly updated that this or that food that I had ordered was out. Eventually, I ordered two flatbreads(that had not chicken because it was out), one order of sliders and an order of steak bites...once in our room, we had two flatbreads and sliders and no steak bites...so, needless to say not impressed with food service.
The saving grace of this visit was the staff. Firstly, at the front desk, Cornelius was fantastic. He was friendly and caring and took good care of us.
The food and beverage manager, who we did not bog down with our complaints about the bar, happened to be passing by when we had a parking issue and was a big help and super friendly and professional. The bartender was also nice and professional despite the food availability issues.
The hotel is nice and clean, our room was good and location convenient. Just needed more urgency on the room being ready and the food service..
