Hotel Takapuna di Auckland

這個好像已經點評過來吧 也就湊合的住一下吧，期望不要太高還是可以的，環境一般吧，也就圖個價格便宜，是不是

I’m back at the Spencer again, because, inexplicably, my head office still chooses to book us here for work visits. I hope our rooms are free. So, this is a multi story hotel on Auckland’s North Shore. We as a nation are just coming out of a pandemic which decimated our tourism industry. Our national borders are about to fully open for the first time since Covid started. I last stayed here in 2017. My review of my last visit is a long and detailed description of the myriad failures of this hotel to meet its most basic expectations. Yet here I am again. I’ll keep it brief this time. Nothing about the hotel has changed since I was last here in 2017, except the staff. That and there’s currently no bar or restaurant due to ‘renovations’. So, room service is a microwave meal and over priced bottles of whatever alcohol you might choose from the limited selection available. Also, as I came back to my room, after being out all day, and finding my room unserviced, not visited by house keeping at all, I phoned housekeeping to ask why they hadn’t visited. It seems they don’t service your room until you’ve been here 3 days, apparently due to lack of staff, because of covid, but last time I was here, before covid, they didn’t service my room either. However, despite a lack of staff, who can’t service my room, because they don’t exist, due to covid or work visas, if I found an extra $35 a day, they COULD find some staff to make up my room. Which let’s face it fellow travellers, is a pretty basic expectation, to have your room serviced, when you are paying for hotel accommodation. But not at the Spencer, on Byron. So, dejected, thoroughly defeated by the utter indifference of a large, premium (for no good reason at all, except maybe, potentially, a nice view) Auckland hotel, to its valuable clients, corporate guests of a local company who give them a decent amount of repeat business, because the options locally, within walking distance of our head office are limited. Or frankly any human being who walked through the door, simply looking for accomodation somewhat approximating the amount they were expected to pay for it. I ordered one of the crappy microwave meals they called room service for 7:15pm. The only member of staff on duty arrived at my door at 7:05pm with my frozen microwave room service meal and over priced bottle of wine, in an expensive Auckland hotel, having travelled up in the lift, and walked through the hotel corridors, not wearing a mask. I had a few choice words about her hotel, hotel management, reassuring her it wasn’t her fault. I told her of my previously unsatisfactory experiences with the hotel and how now it’s inexplicably worse, rather than better, while reminding her it wasn’t her fault. That’s before I talk about the unsatisfactory, uncomfortable rooms, tired furniture, slow wifi, and frankly half ****d, and sub standard everything. On the single plus side. I was very happy with my stay at the Carnmore Hotel Takapuna. I stayed 1 nights at the end of my trip to New Zealand. I arrived very early by bus. I was dropped off a block from the hotel. Ajin was wonderful. He allowed me to store my bag until my room was ready. He also recommended a nice coffee shop that was within easy walking distance. The beach is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The downtown is relaxed. It has cute shops and plenty of services. Easy access to Auckland by transit. The room was large with a kitchette, a huge window and a small deck. The bathroom was smooth dark, stone tile. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Krystal was at the front desk in the morning. She was very friendly and helpful, when I asked for directions. Thanks for a lovely stay😊

This place is enchanting - a little oasis a block from downtown Takapuna! The complex is focused round the pool and lush gardens. When we visited it was hot and sultry on the shore, adding to a delightful and beguiling vibe of being in Asia. We had the spa bath room. First floor, rear of the complex over looking the pool and gardens. It was a quiet weekend -in town and at the inn-so nothing to disturb us. Room was completely fit for purpose. Spacious, clean and cleverly refurnished and finished to add that tropical location vibe! I LOVED the palm cushions and jungle quilt! Comfy bed, crisp sheets. All windows open, a very small balcony and thank heavens for the fan! The bathroom was new and the spa bath- filled with cool water- was a good size and a nice touch. There’s a basic kitchenette with fridge, microwave and adequate crockery and utensils etc. There’s no obvious recycling and all products are single use. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lovely place and experience, that I’d recommend and will stay again.

We had booked a double suite at this lodge,but on the morning of our reservation my partner woke up really unwell.I phoned Ted the manager & he was so understanding & kind & didnot charge us for our room.The management of this lodge are excellent & I look forward to staying with them next time .

I have visited hotels every 3 weeks for a few months now and this is definitely the best one yet for the size and price. We were in the family room with our son and were very happy with the toiletries provided and the cleanliness. The beds were very comfortable which is a must, as someone with a disability. The staff were pleasant and professional. Shower could've been a tad cleaner overall, but I'll certainly be back again soon. Thank you :)

Easy late night check-in. Staff member gave us a SIM card so that we could connect locally immediately. Very comfortable room. Easy access to all Central Business District restaurants, galleries, buses etc. but away from the CBD noise.

進到希爾頓裏面一切沒得説，品牌就是不一樣，房間也非常大，有陽台景色也很好！想説説早餐廳，這是我們在新最後一站也是第一個要訂單的餐廳（看我們不像？後來找來一個會説中文的服務員把我們訂單拍了照後進入餐廳，這個會説中文的值得表揚！後來發現每個服務員都有負責的桌位，給客人倒咖啡，我們沒有！又去找會中文的，她給倒了！説了一句，找穿她一樣衣服的人説英文！***！不會説英文就不享受服務嗎？（明顯感到了岐視）這個餐廳給差評！前台和客房都不錯。

Busy hotel and a base hotel for China aircrew. Room size is decent and bed is comfortable. Daily housekeeping seemed to be a little slow probably because of high occupancy. Nice restaurants within the hotel. It be good if they can vary the breakfast spread, spread is the same everyday during my stay. Filtered coffee offered at breakfast. If you want something else like flat white, extra charges apply and extra charge for milk.
