Amethyst Napa Hotel & Spa

I went on a solo trip to visit a friend and stayed at the Amethyst. It feels and looks newly built and the rooms are all very modern and clean. But you can get that anywhere. What you can't get at other places is the team. I never bonded so well with any hotel team before. The animator guy, Laslo is the best of the best. Super funny and welcoming. He made me feel right at home. He organised different activities every evening. (Fire Show, Acrobatic Dance show, karaoke, bingo, killer pool, darts, etc.) There was never a dull a moment. The people behind the bar were also super nice. Yiannis Constantino and Marcos were all super friendly, and we had a nice chat about life. By the way, Yiannis makes the best iced coffee I've ever had 😃 I also used the Spa and there was a Lebanese Masseuse, who was also brilliant (with 17 years of experience) I didn't catch his name, like the others, but it doesn't change the fact, that I had an awesome stay at this hotel. Next time, I book a longer time. Thanks for everyone, and I hope the hotel treats these employees really well, as they are all great.

Just returned from a week at the Amethyst hotel. We got a last minute good deal and wow was it worth it. It was our first visit to Ayia Napa. I honestly could not fault the hotel or staff in any way! . Food was plentiful and fresh, breakfast omelette’s were freshly cooked to order. There was always a roast of meat each evening and Every evening had a different food theme night. Hotel was clean and tidy, towels replaced, beds made and room cleaned every day. Pool area is stunning with plenty of sun beds. It’s around 3km into the centre of Aiya Napa, where you will find plenty of beautiful restaurants/bars and shops, the 101 bus stops 100m down the road and takes you there in around 6 stops. The 102 brings you back. 1.50 euros each way. There are also few restaurants/bars, cafes, shops near the hotel. I saw signs for 4 beaches while on the bus, we only visited the one which was 5 mins walk from the hotel. A 10 minute walk to the left of the hotel takes you to the water park. This hotel is a must for people seeking a quiet, relaxing break in the sun. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Amethyst for a perfect stay

Myself and my 19 year old son stayed here and overall our stay was amazing. The hotel was very clean and of a good high standard. Cleaning was superb The staff worked so hard and made sure guests were looked after The rooms were spacious and very clean The pool was amazing and very clean and was so impressed with it Sunbeds,had to get up early to get one but always managed to get one The food overall was good though I felt some days the leftovers from the day before was used,loved the deserts tho!! I felt unlimited ice cream should be included in all inclusive option throughout the day The location is superb with beaches nearby Overall our stay was amazing at the Amethyst and would definately recommend to others Thankyou again to all staff for their hard work

Currently at this hotel. Food is bad it feels like leftovers the majority of the time and have witnesses multiple guests complaining about this and have seen a photo of a raw egg being served. We’re half board we’ve ended up eating out the majority of nights. The snack bar is only open 11-12am and then 3-5pm so if you’re not all inclusive, you can’t get anything to eat at a normal lunch time. Not ideal for families. You Can’t get a sunbed unless you’re up at 7am and there’s not enough for all guests so we have had to pay €30 a day on a kabana to ensure our family has somewhere to sit by the pool. They are nice however this was not something we had budgeted for and has been a huge knock to our spends as we didn’t expect this. The jets in the pool didn’t work for the first week and when they did, lots of brown liquid came out of them, they didn’t clean the pool or close it just waited for it to clear up. We’ve also not seen any entertainment for the kids and this is advertised when booking. Overall, it has been underwhelming and we’ve paid for a lot more than expected due to their lack of facilities.

Hotel was spotless and modern..all of staff went above and beyond to make our holiday special..the food was lovely and the entertainment was 👌👌thanks to Coco who made our holiday!!He was fantastic!!!and we wish him all the best!!We would definitely book this hotel again infact we are already looking for next year again.

Just returned from another enjoyable holiday at the Amethyst napa hotel , hotel always clean and tidy, and all staff are very friendly and helpful. There is always a good variety of food to choose from with themed nights at dinner. Hotel well located for local buses,beaches and restaurants.

We had booked the Amethyst hotel,as our accommodation as we were in cyprus on holiday and also for our wedding,in a different hotel. The staff here are super friendly and very helpful. Rooms were spotless clean. They get cleaned everyday if you wish. The pool area is kept clean and tidy. My kids loved it. We are planning on returning next year,we loved it that much 😀

We stayed at this hotel for a week and although the hotel is quite new and has modern features, we were disappointed with several things Firstly, our room was cleaned for the first time after 5 days and after three trips to reception to complain. I had to ask the receptionist for towels and toilet paper as the housekeeping didn't left any. Just threw some solution in the toilet and gone. No moping, cleaning the toilet, shower and sink. I have photos to prove this. Very disappointing .. The indoor pool is room temperature, the jacuzzi wasn't working either, so on the very windy days, we couldn't enjoy those facilities. And you have to pay 20€ per room if want to use it. Entertainment very poor and boring. Same guy every night for 1 hour. Were promised face painting and mini disco for kids, nothing happened... We were half board and I was surprised to see that you have to pay for the water... Water dispensers were off at the evening meal, but opened at the breakfast and I couldn't understand why. Horrible coffee. We went everyday to the coffee shop next door for a decent one. Not enough sunbeds for the size of the hotel either... The meals were OK, not a lot of variety and quite repetitive but tasty. We were happy that is near Mackronissos beach but won't return and wouldn't recommend it either.

Interesting and modern hotel :) Clean everyday if u want. Stuff really helpful with kind words and smiles;) Near the Amethyst bus stop. We had HB. Nobody wouldn't be hungry, that's for sure. Amazing rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, mini gym, SPA and many more. Come here - you will love it
