Panthea Village was a hotel that gave out mixed feelings. Our room was of a good size, My granddaughter loved the sliding doors between the two sleeping areas as they gave her privacy. The bathroom was something else, the floor in the shower was a patchwork of previous repairs. The smell that came up from the drains was unpleasant, we had to keep the plug closed in the sink and a towel over the drain in the shower. Room service was hit and miss as to whether we got any or not, one day all she did was empty the bin and left, we made out own beds most days. There are areas around the hotel, that are in need of desperate attention. The inside of the lift has defiantly seen better days. The fire door outside our room had no glass in it, so in the case of a fire would be worthless. Don't get me wrong, not all was bad. The children loved the outdoor pool, spent a few hours in it every day. They also enjoyed the waterpark area, the slide here were a big hit. In both places more sunbeds were needed, as they got taken very quickly. Now as for the dinning room. We would often be waiting round for clean cutlery or crockery. The food itself was basic, nothing special. The meat was often to dry, if you love chips - pasta - potatoes, you'll be fine here. My observation was, that the dining room was not big enough to cope with the capacity of the hotel, and we went out of season.
