Pros : Location was great. Quick check-in and check-out. Breakfast was many selections and tasty Cons : I couldn’t sleep well because of loud noise from the outside during the night.

** Not Recommended** 2 STAR HOTEL AT BEST Visited the lobby cafe for coffee. The order was forgotten. Received the order on the second request, finished the coffee, and was about to leave only to be abused and accused by THE SECURITY GAURD for not ordering anything. Asked for the Manager and was told by the DOOR MAN that he is busy and cant come, without even asking him to come. Day 2 - Tried to give it another go as i have a meeting nearby; Told the reception that the lobby is ridden with mosquitoes and he just smiled it off. Killed a mosquito and took it to him and asked if he can spray the area. It seems to be ignored.

Beaucoup des mauvaises critiques portent sur la disco du premier etage, mais elle est fermee depuis 4 ans !! Les chambres sont grandes, superbes, ok en style un peu viellot, salles de bains superbes. La fille a la reception est tres aimable, je ne comprends pas ces critiques. Surtout egard au prix. Evidemment on n est pas au Georges V a Paris, mais on paie 15 fois moins !

This is maybe my third time staying in this hotel, and I decided to share my feedback as they certainly deserve a great review this time; I stayed for 10 days as it was an extended business trip, and I love its prime location. Business area, banks, near the lac, 5 min away from the famous Bourguiba street ‘center ville’. If you are traveling for business so this hotel is your place to go. If you want to discover Tunis, also this hotel is your place to go. When entering from reception, you feel the warm welcome of the staff. They make you feel it’s home. They check on you if you need anything every time they see you passing. I enjoy the bed; it’s super comfy, the room is quite spacious, and the bathroom is super neat. The breakfast food was like prepared by my grandma. It felt like home with the Tunisian specialties: Delicious and wide variety, international and local. And I super loved their b2b lounge and restaurant, it has really delicious food, I highly recommend trying their menu. And at night they have an amazing sky Luna, night lounge, that have different programs and shows. It’s super safe comfortable environment and nice joyful ambiance! Of course the food not to be missed!

Rooms are very small and very basic, like a jail cell with one very tiny window. Rooms temperature is controlled by the management so they choose if you get air conditioning or not. So when it’s hot outside, your room is very very hot too but when you tell them, they act like it is the first time they are hearing it; don’t be fooled, they know exactly what’s going on. Service in the front desk with the exception of two people is completely non-existent and you have to try very hard to get service and responses. The girl in the front desk with the black hair is usually smoking in the back office and playing on her phone and the restaurant staff have to tell her to come out to serve at the front desk. The other blonde haired girl, her name starts with A, is very mean and rude to most guests Omar and Asma are very nice. Housekeeping is super slow and not organized. Restaurant staff provide no service at all, not even a greeting. If you ask a question, they clearly are not happy to be disturbed from playing on their cellphones. They hide in the corner and gossip all throughout the meal service and play on their phone. It is not walking distance to the Old Town, it’s quite a walk so be very prepared to walk or take a taxi. Use Bolt Taxi and drop the price 3 dinars if you want to negotiate a rate. Airport to hotel from departure area was about 7 dinars but you can get it at about five dinars. Food is horrible at the hotel but they do serve an overpriced breakfast buffet. Outside it is very Sandy and dusty.

La Tunisia è decisamente economica. Per mangiare, fare benzina, shopping… Gli hotel, però, non sono proprio regalati. Almeno, non se si prenota dall’Italia, tramite Booking e cercando un minimo di rapporto qualità/prezzo. Questo albergo, a dieci minuti a piedi da Porte de France e, quindi, dall’ingresso della Medina, ha un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo ed è perfetto per girare la città. Le camere - noi avevamo una tripla - sono ampie e funzionali. I letti comodi. Il bagno grande e ben organizzato. Buono anche il livello igienico e varia la colazione compresa nel prezzo. Unica cosa, forse, migliorabile il segnale Wi-Fi nelle stanze. La reception è aperta h24 e per chi viaggia in macchina poco distante c’è un parcheggio a pagamento custodito. Consigliato.

This is a letter I sent to TRAVELURO - beware of being scammed as you can read from other people who were not as fortunate as me! Should be 0 stars, but 1 star is minimum to make a review!! ******* Thankyou for refunding me within 10 minutes of making the booking for a £12 ”special offer” against the normal price of £156 on ”Booking com” for a 1 night stay in the NOVOTEL TUNIS! I was astonished to see the £12 back in my account so quickly! I broke my own rules by not first checking Trust Pilot, Trip Advisor and other review sites about TRAVELURO before I booked with your ”disgusting company”! I see now ”the scam”!!! You return this small amount of money, give me 10% ”bonus” off my next booking which will encourage me to rebook with TRAVELURO at the Novotel or other hotels of this standard at a much higher ”Normal” price. Then, that is when you will complete the scam by giving me a false sense of security with this refund and an apologetic letter explaining the ”technical difficulties with the booking”. I then make ANOTHER more expensive booking with TRAVELURO and never see my money again and the hotel concerned denies having any dealings with”TRAVELURO” when I arrive at the reception!! I have always used reliable *********** for 15 years travel to 45 countries without not even one problem!!! So thankyou for the £12 ”refund” and in case you had any ideas about trying to obtain money from the card I paid it by - don't bother - the card is cancelled!!!! 😂 I shall also be warning all my contacts about TRAVELURO and the scam repeating that ”if it looks to good to be true” then it probably isn't true! If this letter just stops only one person from being scammed, it will be a victory!!!! I only know of TRAVELURO on looking at NOVOTEL in Tunis! Be aware of this company when booking hotels, anywhere in the world!!! It certainly is brining the name of Novotel Tunis into disrepute with these ”scam” bookings! ******* Happy travels and be warned! 👍

Négatifs: Les moquettes sont sales et tachées comme les sièges du restaurant. Les prestations ”quad” et ”bateau pirate” sont médiocres et hors de prix. Les vrais pirates sont dans l'hôtel...A éviter... La restauration est très cafétéria de supermarché. Quoique certains supermarché font bien mieux. Le prix de la semaine est bien trop élevé au vue des prestations et du pays. Le touriste doit payer et il font tout pour. Positifs : Le personnel est en majorité sympathique. Les piscines sont peu profonde (1m) mais agréables. La plage est en contact avec l'hôtel.

Great location and very kind staff, let me check in early and left me in peace for the duration of my stay. Hotel is a little dated and amenities are a little basic but it’s cosy and has nice views. Balcony door didn’t open but wasn’t too much of an issue. For the price and location this is a good option.
