Ulasan Seminaris Hotel Bad Boll

This conference hotel is a bit tired; its last refurbishment was clearly quite some time ago, and with only one working elevator, there were often long waits. However, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The service and front desk staff were very pleasant and friendly, and the hotel's location is beautiful, nestled in the natural surroundings of the Swabian Alb.

Me and my husband are satisfied with the stay at Seminaris Hotel. The room was a good size, wide beds and modern decor. Bathroom was very clean, but bits of mould were sticking out through the grout in the shower. Also there were coffee stains on the floor in the less accessible bits of the room. For example there was a floor lamp that wasn’t moved for a while and the floor was not wiped there… but in general a pleasant experience. A fair choice of foods at breakfast and lot of space to sit down and relax.

Indoor swimming pool, perfect for little ones. Comfortable rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Also, rooms with a mezzanine level for families. Rural setting. Extensive breakfast buffet. Reasonably priced dining options.

Unfortunately, the room had poor soundproofing, and the bed was far too soft. Otherwise, everything was good, especially the breakfast.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, incredibly varied, and always plentiful! The location was wonderful for hiking, and we even arrived easily with the Deutschland Ticket, thanks to excellent public transport links! The staff were very polite, always helpful, and incredibly friendly.

The hotel was pleasant, the room was good, and breakfast was excellent with a wide variety. Dinner had a bit of a long wait, but the food was delicious and the service friendly. The sauna was good, and the indoor pool was okay, but both came with an extra charge, as did parking. The only downside was that our towels weren't changed and the trash wasn't emptied on the following day. I suspect the cleaning staff didn't even enter the room. This was particularly frustrating with small children in the room who still wear diapers (trash should be emptied daily!).

For a one-night stay, it was perfectly adequate. The area was quiet. Our room was on the top floor and got quite warm, as there's no air conditioning.

We've now stayed here for the third time. For over three years, neither the bar nor the rather pleasant dining room has been open. Anyone expecting these amenities will currently be disappointed. The front desk is staffed by constantly changing individuals who don't appear to be hotel employees. Since this year, guests are asked via signs at breakfast to clear their own tables. All of this points to a significant staffing issue. The service is okay, but not the friendliest. I highly doubt anyone working here has any formal hospitality training. We are now aware of these circumstances. For us, it offers space, seating, a private bathroom, and a bowling alley if you want one. It's clean and quite affordable. The breakfast buffet is quite good. Furthermore, it offers special rooms for families, which we also liked. The location is suburban, which suits us. It seems to attract many travelers passing through, as it's not far from the highway, yet it's very quietly situated.

I'm familiar with the Seminaris Hotel Bad Boll, having stayed there more than five times. The cleanliness and facilities are perfectly acceptable. However, the somewhat remote location (quite on the outskirts of town) becomes a significant drawback when the restaurant is closed, which happens frequently. This means you often have to drive almost 10 km to find dinner. Additionally, the front desk is sometimes understaffed and occasionally left unattended. Despite these points, the overall value for money is definitely good.

Our 'superior plus' room was fine. However, it was a bit dusty in places, and the balcony was tiny. There was no air conditioning, and it felt warm inside the hotel even though it wasn't particularly hot outside. There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. Overall, I'd rate it as more of a 3-star hotel.

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the service left much to be desired. The bar was not open in the evenings. Also, for breakfast, guests are expected to clear their own dishes onto designated trolleys.

The room was spotless, and the hotel's surroundings were very refreshing and pleasant. The breakfast offered a good variety, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel that's definitely worth a stay.

The facilities are dated, and the location is quite out of the way, but it's inexpensive.
