Hotel Melodia del Bosco

The hotel was very clean and hospitable. The staff was fantastic. Very focused for the customer and the experience. Truly enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. In addition in the afternoon, they have the Saunas, . 4 to 5 different types with showers and also a meditation room. A great way to wrap up a day, especially before dinner.

Me and a friend stayed at the Melodia whilst cycling - what an amazing hotel! I’ll start by saying that the star rating system needs a refresh - this place is more like a 5* than it’s 3*, the decor is modern, everything is well kept and has a luxury feel, but the real stand out feature is the food… incredible. Food: Each night there is a different menu of 4 courses, the chefs have made a serious effort and it shows (I’ll add pictures). I really love that it’s not a buffet style, it makes it feel much more special and like a restaurant. Breakfast is plenty of cereals, fruit, pastries etc with hot items like eggs available fresh to order - you won’t go hungry. Through the day there is a small selection of sandwiches available to buy at the bar. Rooms: We had a twin room on the front of the hotel, the room was huge in my opinion, shower and bath with separate toilet, plenty of suitcase and wardrobe space. Cleaned each day by super friendly staff. Spa: open from 14:00 to early evening, it’s 3 saunas, a steam room and waterfall showers - with a room connected with relaxing music and waterbeds - we used it a LOT after days out on the bike. It was never that busy and again really well kept and modern. Bike hire: We hired directly from the hotel and would recommend - the on-site mechanic Uwe was amazing, making adjustments for us where needed and attaching our own pedals etc. There’s an area to wash the bikes with all the kit and cleaning products, and a secure storage garage where you have to get the key from reception - I’d be happy to leave my own bike there and know it’d be safe. Location: In the little area there wasn’t a HUGE amount but we did wander along to the Badia Pub - worth a visit. For cycling it was ideal, 7km from Corvara where a lot of the routes started, or already on the way north if you wanted ti head that way. I think if you stayed in Corvara or La Villa your legs wouldn’t thank you for no warm up before the climbs… Staff: Lastly the staff who deserve a special mention: Everyone we chatted to were lovely and helpful, in the restaurant, the bar, the reception: you got a sense of it being a small and caring team - so thank you all for making it a great stay! Will definitely be back!

Stayed in June 2022, overall a group of 20 of us stayed ..the hotel, staff and food was exceptional we spent four days cycling the dolomites with this as the base, and also booked the Stelvio day ride through the hotel, Klaus who joined us absolutely fantastic setup and service no attention to detail is left, cannot recommend highly enough

The attention to detail is above and beyond expectation. The meals and all the staff are another level. I cannot recommend enough. And will be coming back again Nothing was a problem when asked for. The laundry service for cycling kit was amazing. Secure bike storage, tools and bike cleaning facilities.

Wow what a great experience. Excellent hotel and what a team of people working there, they did everything possible to make sure we had a great time. Food, service, facilities all top class. An excellent base to stay in to explore the Dolomites.

This was more then a hotel to us. It was a cycling experience like no other. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Klaus and the rest of his team went out of their way to make us feel at home and solve all the bike issues we faced during the trip. The food here is excellent, the newly refurbished facilities too. I highly recomend staying here if your planning a trip to the Dolomites.

Family run with truly fantastic service in every regard. Stayed to see the Giro, what an amazing experience. Guide’s were top draw. Food is fantastic! The health and wellness facility is of a very high standard and very welcome after a day out on the mountains!

I recently spent 8 nights at Melodia on a cycling vacation with 3 friends from the US. Our experience was absolutely fantastic in every way. From the clean rooms to the caring staff to the excellent food, Melodia exceeded our admittedly high expectations. We chose a package tailored to gravel cycling that involved a stay at a mountain hut. It required a lot of coordination and logistical effort on the part of the staff, but Klaus and his team executed it flawlessly, right down to taking care of our luggage transfer and mapping out all of our riding routes for us. It's rare to find a place away from home that actually FEELS like home, but Melodia is that place. It really is special.

Met een groep van 7 wielrenvrienden verbleven we een week (zondag-zondag) in dit hotel. Qua locatie is dit hotel gelegen in het fietswalhalla van de Dolomieten. De kamers zijn ruim, zeer schoon (dank lieve dames van house-keeping). Kamer 311 is rustig gelegen aan de achterzijde met een ruim balkon en uitzicht op de alpenweide. In het restaurant worden maaltijden geserveerd die in een sterren-restaurant niet zouden misstaan. Uit de bar komen louter topwijnen (dank Ervis en lieve dames van bediening). De extra service voor fietsers (ruime afgesloten berging, afspoelstation, hoge luchtdrukslang voor droogblazen, reinigings-/smeermiddelen, poetsdoeken, basis fietsgereedschappen en mecanicien Uwe (deze man is een Godsgeschenk)) staan gratis ter beschikking van gasten. Dit hotel biedt het beste pakket dat een fanatieke wielrengroep zich kan wensen. Dank Melodia del Bosco voor een fantastische week!
