3 Arch Resort Ella

We had a lovely stay at the 3 Arch Resort, which is set a short drive away from the main area in a peaceful location. The staff and owners here were welcoming and attentive, and the service was excellent. We received a lovely juice and moist towelette on arrival which was very refreshing. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast during our stay and the food was delicious for each meal - flavoursome, fun and plentiful set in a well appointed dining area. Our room was beautiful, clean and had everything we could want including a lovely view. For the less mobile, there is only stair access to the room and no elevator which is worth noting but this was not a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

I recently stayed at 3 Arches in Ella, Sri Lanka, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. When we first arrived and we enquired whether we are able to use the rooftop terrace. We were told that we are able to do so however we are to keep our voices down as the hotel had “foreign guests”. Which is quite interesting because we are all from Australia. I didn’t realise this hotel was available only for white people. Furthermore, the rooms had no aircon or fan. No sealed water bottles were provided. The towels provided smell of mildew and fungus. Moreover, one of the most basic necessities in any accommodation is hot water, yet this seemed to be a luxury the hotel couldn't provide. Despite multiple assurances from the staff, there was no running hot water throughout my entire stay. Not to mention the putrid smell emanating from the bathroom whereby you cannot even manage to brush your teeth without gagging. During the night, our family were all sitting in our room discussing our future business venture when we were told by the hotel to stop making noise. Absolutely ridiculous! We were not playing any music or screaming or shouting. We were simply talking. To top it off the food provided at the buffet were similar to that of a 1 star hotel. It seems leftover food from last night served this morning. Ants were covering the tea and coffee station. The food was not even labeled and not a single staff member without a scowl on their face in sight to enquire. The staff were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Will never be staying here again or recommending this place to anyone.

Resort is good and excellent view from room balcony, I admired the hospitality of the management, I would recommend and must opt for Sri Lanka trip and make happy. I am sure you will enjoy - thank you all for your serviced

Our stay from 12/21/23 to 12/23/23 was great. We arrived without prior reservation and were given a very warm welcome. All employees listened to our wishes and repeatedly asked if everything was OK. Our room was large and clean. We were served both western and local breakfasts. The local breakfast was very tasty. The owner came and kept asking if we were filling up. We also received a warm farewell from all employees. We traveled as a family with small children and will stay at 3 Arch Resort Ella again on our next trip to Ella. We definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed here for two days and had a wonderful service, food and rooms. Clean rooms and very helpful staff who helped us get a ticket to the right rains and then gave us a fabulous hike on Pekoe Trail 15. It was one of the best experiences we have had in this part of Sri Lanka and can recommend it highly. Mr Disanayake and Ms Chitrani took a personal interest to help us. We got to see parts of Ella that no one knows about, such as small forest monastery.

Really appreciate the great service and the flexibility . A very peaceful , clean place with all the facilities and a beautiful view . Very flexible & friendly staff . Will come again for sure . Much recommended .

That is Marvelous view @beautiful place.frendly staff ,& they are service very excellent .not only that delicious foods and others .rooms are very clean ,attractive arrangements .we are most like this place and kids olso happy &like all .

It’s an amazing place to enjoy your life with family members, and you can reach each and every famous place in Elle within a couple of minutes. There is a very friendly staff, and they provided us with delicious meals. The meal plan is up to you. You can customize your meal plan. This is one of the advantages of staying in this resort.

Toen we hier binnen kwamen, wilden we niet meer verder en alleen maar 'thuis' blijven ;-) Wat een mooie plek! Alles overal groen. We sliepen helemaal bovenin. Zo ruim, zo licht, zo mooi. 's avonds sterren kijken met de vuurvliegjes. Het eten is er heerlijk. En het personeel heel hartelijk.
