Kevans Casa

We stayed at this beautiful hotel, though sadly only for one night, on our way to Gal Oya. This was my second visit to this lovely hideaway after two years. They have done quite a lot to improve their standards, renovating the property and adding all the necessary amenities in the rooms. However, there are some minor areas to consider and improve which we have addressed. All the staff, led by Pradeep, were excellent, friendly and very efficient. The food was amazing, with a wide choice of European and Sri Lankan dishes, all very fresh and tasty. Kevan's Casa also offers a range of unique activities with their experienced staff. We had a great trekking experience to Rathna Ella, about 6 km up and down, which is moderate and suitable for most. This activity includes refreshments and finishes with a delicious and authentic rice and curry lunch. There are also other experiences, such as pottery, which can be combined. The highlight of our stay was the al fresco breakfast by the side of Sorabora Wewa reservoir, followed by a catamaran ride through the beautiful Sorabora Lake. It was beautifully presented, with a great variety of dishes available.We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience.

Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting a couple of game parks. Great choice as the staff and service was absolutely first rate, nothing is too much trouble for anyone here. Breakfast and afternoon snack boxes were provided for our safaris. Food is very good, tasty and well cooked. Rooms spotless. Highly recommended

We had a really good time at Kevans Casa. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful and the rooms clean. We stayed here for two nights but could easily have stayed on. Hope to get back soon.
