I highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a holiday trip. The location is very convenient, with easy access to food, shopping areas, transport, and tourist attractions. The room is clean, comfortable, and suitable for a relaxing stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. During my stay, my luggage was accidentally damaged by a driver, and the hotel staff kindly helped me to repair and handle the issue quickly. Their service and attitude were truly excellent and made my trip much more comfortable. Overall, the environment is safe, pleasant, and worth staying at. I had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting the area.

We had a great stay at this Mazu Island (Meizhou Island, Putian) guesthouse. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was unique, with dried squid, small dried fish, and lotus seed millet porridge. The host kindly picked us up at Pier with a sightseeing shuttle and also dropped us off when we left, which was very convenient.  The location is excellent, right by the Beach, with e-bike rental shops and food stalls nearby. We rented  two e-bike for family of four,  made it easy to visit the beach, the night Market, and all the island attractions. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we’d be happy to come back again.

My stay at Best Wishes was absolutely wonderful—it’s hands down the cleanest hotel I’ve visited in China! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities. The attention to cleanliness was exceptional, making my stay incredibly comfortable. The views from the hotel were breathtaking— But what truly made my experience special was the staff. They were incredibly hands-on, friendly, and went out of their way to assist with anything I needed. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Meizhou. Most importantly, I haven’t slept this well in a long time! The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and everything was just perfect for a restful night. If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful, and welcoming hotel with stunning views, [Hotel Name] is the place to stay. This is an impressively-featured modern and stylish hotel. The sea views are glorious and the adjacent beach is wonderful. An expanse of wind turbines reminds us how beneficial our natural resources are, rotating gracefull and making next to no noise.  This island is rather undeveloped. Don’t expect tourist features. Visit this island to feel like you’re getting away from the hustle and bustle. Utilise it to engage with the people you visit it with, and relish the sea views and fresh air.

對於一個台灣人來說 媽祖娘娘是我們從小就信仰的根基 從2008年來到大陸工作生活後再2012年轉到廈門來定居至今 湄洲島一直是我想要來朝聖的地方 終於在有假期的時候安排上 並且這次住的嶼念民宿對我來說有個非常美好的回憶... 1.首先民宿的設計風格屬於輕奢溫暖的主題 房間乾淨 設備不能說齊全 但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全 2. 在服務性上絕對沒話說 從入住前的前台小姐姐 三天全程的幫我諮詢各種的門票 景點 到租小電驢 一次次的不厭其煩地幫我們服務著 又貼心態度又好 不急不躁 倍感親切 3. 外賣可以直接送達 另外大廳的餐廳可以泡茶 店主免費地提供茶具 甚至我們在那裏點外賣用餐都盡可能提供我們餐具及各種方便 總之店主及前台小姊姊服務都特別好 4.民宿地點剛好在環島路上 非常方便 騎著電驢就可以往回走可以去祖廟 往下走就可以去各種沙灘 印象媽祖 緣起湄洲 各個景點 非常方便 5. 進出島還提供了接送服務 司機大哥人很熱情 是島民 會跟你介紹沿途景點 讓我們很直觀的可以知道那些地方可以去 親切感十足 6. 早餐很精緻 沒有問題 大人小孩都喜歡 總之嶼念民宿讓我愛上了湄洲島 以後我會常常來湄洲 觀光以及祈誠媽祖祈福之旅

Location - next to Wanda Plaza Shopping malls. There is a bus stop in front of the building. Night market street food, a lot of food behind the building. Cleanliness - must request to clean up & no issues. Safety - unfortunately our unit on the 10th floor was clutter with thrown away old furniture at the lobby, there was even used paint & thinner (flammable) in the corridor as well as piles of rubbish at both side of our entrance making it a potential fire hazard. The Escape route ‘Exit’ staircase were blocked by these clutters. Look at photos taken. Hopefully MCST would look into this.

訂完房間，前台就聯繫了我，告知我如何購船票、島上如何租電驢等等很實用的攻略。登島後，酒店的接駁車已在碼頭等待，司機小哥載我們去酒店路上很耐心地跟我們介紹湄洲島；辦理入住後，意外的發現酒店幫忙升級了房型，送了果歇還有媽祖糕點，酒店整體環境必須給到一個“夯”，別墅獨棟花園風格且酒店還有自己規劃的一片沙灘，日落時分去拍了好多照，真就是隨手一拍皆美景！ 因出遊當天天氣炎熱，不想外出就餐，想着就隨便點一些酒店的能填飽肚子的餐就行，送到之後，説實話驚艷到我了，擺盤、食材跟廚師手藝都超預期（點餐送到房間，居然不是用打包盒，跟在店裡一樣用盤子裝的！！） 個人覺得酒店唯一美中不足的就是位置會稍微比較偏，但在島上本來也得租輛電驢，騎着電驢沿途欣賞這座小島靜謐的美，何嘗不是另一番滋味呢

這次旅行最幸運的就是選了這家民宿！剛到的時候，老闆就熱情迎接，幫忙拿行李，辦理入住的過程特別順利，還貼心地介紹周邊好玩的地方和好吃的餐廳。 房間佈置得温馨又精緻，每一處小細節都能看出老闆的用心。床鋪柔軟舒適，床品乾淨整潔，晚上我睡得特別香。衞生間也沒有任何異味，洗漱用品質量都很不錯。 民宿的公共區域寬敞舒適，有舒適的沙發、各還有免費的茶和糕點，午後在這裏曬曬太陽、看看書，真的太愜意了。而且民宿位置超棒，門口就是彩虹路，步行一分鐘就能到達沙灘，民宿也能提供電動車租賃，出行特別方便。 這次住宿體驗簡直滿分，下次來這邊，我肯定還選這家！也強烈推薦給大家，來了就知道有多好！

I don’t really write reviews unless exceptionally good or bad but this is really a negative experience … Firstly, not recommended if coming to stay in cold season (Autumn/ Winter/ Spring). The aircon/ heater system is centralised so you can’t adjust the temperature. Secondly, according to the receptionist, they only have ONE tower fan so not really available. Lastly, the attitude of receptionist and housekeeping is extremely unfriendly compared to before (I stayed here 3 times) and I put a good review in 2023. This time, the solution they provided to a female guest is to open the window and curtain at night for cold air… which I personally think is inconsiderate for a female guest. I gave my feedback to the receptionist when I checked-out so hopefully they can add more tower fans to their inventory.

第一次來到湄洲島，也是無意中刷到這民宿瞭然後就直接定，民宿是有提供接送，還有提供早餐（早餐就是當地一些特色，入鄉隨俗吧，這次因為行程太趕了所以才住三天兩夜，但是最讓我打動的是老闆娘整理了一份行程攻略給我，讓我節省了一些不必要浪費時間，以至於吃飯問題也提拱了幾家，每個人口味確實不同，但是我想吃海鮮老闆就告訴我想吃海鮮的話他們附近有一家加工的餐廳，加工費15到30我就買了海鮮想説蠻試心態結果驚喜了他們家辣炒螃蟹，花鴿，等等還有島上特色滷麪，金錢粿絕了，有來的朋友不妨去試試，可以找老闆要聯繫方式，想最後説一句這次蠻幸運的，湄洲島下次還來，喜歡這裏人情很温馨，空氣也好舒服！！！
