Amazing staff! Everyone is so friendly and kind! If you’re looking for a real retreat, yoga in the morning, to just think and clear your mind, this is the perfect place. Everyone is so helpful! In a great location, and the staff makes sure you have something to do for the day! Their smoothies are amazing! It was my birthday and they decorated the bed!

The service and hospitality from the staff were 10/10 🫶🏼 We were welcomed with watermelon + lime juice, while completing our simple check in process. Then escorted by the Operations Manager Dewa to have a mini tour around the compound before heading to our room. The in-house chef is great at preparing vegetarian food, and is good at coming up with vegan options. The breakfast spread is really good, we were often way too full by the end of it 😆 It’s nice being in the middle of the forest - fresh air, nice nature vibes - except you definitely have to take extra steps to prevent bugs from coming near you. The bathroom is super spacious and rustic, and comes with a bathtub made of stone and a toilet fitted with bidet seat. We didn’t use the bathtub as I’m pregnant and it’s set on top of stones (i feel like it may be dangerous if i have to step out of there 🙈). Our room has a TV with netflix which is really nice to have as entertainment 😄 since we did not end up using the private pool outside the room. It was a bit stale and dirty on the first two days of our stay, before cleaning happened on the 3rd day. Free shuttle services to Ubud town area daily! Do note that Grab likely would not work here, better luck with Gojek based on our experience 👍 Overall, definitely recommend this retreat for anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city!

環境是真的設計得很好，泳池也很乾凈，並且在上午10點半之前都能有樹蔭遮擋不會太曬（但是也比較冷就是了，不怕曬的話中午游泳更好）。泳池和餐廳都是對着雨林，很治癒的，早餐也不錯。服務也好。我很佩服酒店的消殺工作，是如何能在樹叢密佈的環境中沒有什麼蚊蟲的。但是不得不説酒店開了很多年設施都老舊了，如果能升級一下床品、紗帳、窗簾，會更舒適。臨走時看的那本小説，酒店當禮物送我了。真開心！ 位置來説，離烏布中心有點遠，酒店可以租小電驢，到烏布中心騎車15分鐘的樣子。

Очень приятный отель, красивый бассейн, йога по утрам, вегетарианский завтрак, вкусный ужин. Очень приятный персонал, учитывают все пожелания. Есть трансфер до центра Убуда.

It is very original here, with a beautiful environment and excellent service. After living here for two days, I feel very relaxed. There are yoga and spa here, but unfortunately I didn't experience it because I was too tight. You can try different packages for the hotel's breakfast, and the restaurant is mainly vegetarian.

The communication with us as to where and how we would be picked up from the ferry terminal was clear and crisp. We were received with a placard and whisked away in a cool and spacious car. First was a lunch stop and then off we went to Ubud to Being Sattva, a piece of heaven. We received a warm welcome from Subba and his team who had prepared a lovely villa for us. Our grown children had their own room on the first floor. There was a winding path that took us from the homely-feel living/dining area to our accommodation. The property is lush and green from every angle and every space. The swimming pool is a comfortable depth and length for lounging and doing a few laps. Room was large along with an open to air shower and a large bath space. Everything had been planned keeping sustainability in mind. The food was the high point. It was delectable with large portions. It could be tweaked to suit individual dietary preferences. All ingredients were locally sourced and the dishes were prepared with care and aesthetically pleasing as well. Subba was very kind and took us on a village walk and also to see the terraced cultivation. We also tried our hand at sketching and joined him for meditation. The yoga studio is a sublime space surrounded by grand, tall trees with numerous bird calls. The Balinese massage at the spa was exceptional. The resort also holds many retreats and the preparations were on for one that was coming up. Our visit coincided with the Balinese New Year and proved to be extra special. If you want a slice of heaven, from which you emerge rejuvenated, pampered, rested and feel submerged in bliss, Being Sattva is for you.

We stayed four days at BeingSattvaa and it was a great place to start our Bali vacation. Being small but beautiful, the resort provided personalized and attentive service from the loyal and competent staff. We got custom cooked food, tea, coffee lunch and whatever we needed and even special requests such as jackfruit and dosas were honored. The owner Mr Subba was gracious and took specific al care to make us feel welcome. Jero at the Spa is highly trained and the massage treatments were exceptional.

Being Sattva is a home carved into the Balinese paradise. From the moment we entered, we were surrounded by nature in a way that was obvious, yet unobtrusive. The entrance lounge is set up to be a meeting place for everyone to gather around the dinner table with music, board games, and literature. The lounge is surrounded with colorful foliage and a canopy to protect from the rain. Don't miss out on "the happy drum", which seems to be specifically crafted to bring together old friends and new. The kitchen was very accommodating of all our dietary requirements and has no shortage of tasty treats for us. They even explained the recipes so I can try making these at home. The rooms are spacious and feature canopy beds with curtains. Combined with the AC, this is very comfortable. My room had a garden bathroom which was the ultimate immersive outdoor experience. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They told us not only what sights were nearby and when to go, but also where the crowds would be smaller for a more intimate experience. There's nothing that the staff wouldn't do for us and they always had drivers ready to take us anywhere we wanted to go. There is also an infinity pool adjoining the lounge, with lounge chairs to while away the sunny afternoons. It's very clear that every detail in this place has been meticulously thought out to bring the outside in, while still maintaining the comforts of a resort. Don't miss out on Subba's stories and Mona's dance routine. 100% I'm coming back here the next time I'd like to come to Bali.

Our stay at BeingSattvaa was excellent. The environment and surroundings were what first captured my attention, as when you enter you’re surrounded by beautiful nature while safely under a covered canopy that protects you from any weather elements. The infinity pool and lounge area were so welcoming, and the rooms were set up beautifully. The staff was so nice and accommodating and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with access to the city of Ubud for daytime adventures. I know I’ll definitely want to visit again.

The 5-star vegetarian cuisine was a revelation, with each dish a masterpiece. We succumbed to the resort's culinary charms, ditching plans to dine elsewhere during our three-night stay. Impeccable service made us feel part of the family, while heavenly massages elevated our experience to pure bliss. We departed reluctantly, already counting down the days until our return to this slice of paradise.
