Ulasan Absolute Scuba Bali Dive Resort

I stayed here after an 8 day trip around the islands as a bit of recuperation. But I have to say, I wish I had been able to stay longer, to take advantage of the scuba. The accommodation was great, a little dated but clean and very comfy. The bed was great. The restaurant had an excellent selection of both Balinese and western food. The pizza was great. Breakfast was included with the room and I was not disappointed one of the best omelettes I had in Bali. There was a lovely little garden in the back that you can just sit a chill with a book and a beer. Not to mention it is right on the beach and has a prtty nice view of the sunset. All the divers I talked to said they had a great time on the excursions which made me a little jealous, I will definitely have to come back here at some point. Affordable and comfortable you can't go wrong.

Service was very good, all inclusive dive courses, food was very nice too. Took the beginner course and diving instructor (Aswar) was very attentive !

Padang Bai is definitely an underrated scuba diving destination. The macro spots are exceptional on all of the sites, but especially the Jetty. There are areas of very nice corals, beautiful walls, lots of turtles and very high possibilities of seeing white tipped sharks . Add in a trip across to Nusa Penida and you will have an excellent week diving at very reasonable prices, all just 90 minutes from an international airport. We really enjoyed staying in an authentic Balinese town with some great restaurants and a beautiful temple. Absolute Scuba is a gem, we have been coming her for several years and it is a joy to see improvements, all the while keeping the menu things that it is really great at. The rooms have been freshened up with new decor and the food, including those wonderful pancakes for breakfast, as good as ever. Again we had an exceptional experience diving with absolutely wonderful spots. Absolute has that wonderful friendly vibe that divers enjoy so much. The guides and the boat captain and the rest of the crew are all so lovely and friendly and kind. Wisnu took amazing care of us again, with lovely long relaxing dives. We missed a trip to Nusa Penida while we were there, but Michael very kindly arranged for us to do it from Amed on our last week in Bali. We had a private half an hour with constant manta action at the cleaning station. Looking forward to revisiting before too long !

Just got back from our month-long stay at the Absolute. Can't say enough about the hotel and the staff that keeps it all running smooth. Free breakfast, awesome! Diving, top notch! Food (pizza) and the pool, all great! If you're looking for a great hotel in padagbai, don't waste you're time, book the Absolute!! Good luck to managers Julian and Michael with your new adventures!

A great hotel to stay at whilst diving in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. It has a dive charter attached to it. Has a swimming pool that doubles as a training pool for beginner basic open water divers. Staff are friendly including the manager who is approachable and interested in making sure your stay is as best as possible.

Quiet hotel and town with very nice staff, beautiful views, and a clean room and restaurant. We had the place to ourselves with an ocean view, air conditioning, and a great bar tender. Very close to the ferries and good snorkeling.

Snorkling trip from here is lovely. Blue lagoon not as clean as further along the coast. Lots of plastic floating in the sea. The fish are amazing, love a bit of bread. Take a drink as the sea is very salty. Private hire boats are great with your own captain.

Very close to the port to get to the Gilli island, staff very friendly, room was clean and beautiful view of the ocean. Breakfast included. Pool was lovely and refreshing. Would stay here again if going over to the islands

Amazing location for scuba diving! They took care of everything for us and their staff was amazing! If you are a diver, this is the place to be. Food was great- you need to try the pizza. Best massages as well!

A few of us met here for a weeks holiday. In our small group there were a couple of scuba divers, a couple of snorkelers and me. The divers and snorkelers set off most mornings to see the wonders of the many and varied local underwater sea life, leaving me free to explore. Lots to see and do locally, but I really enjoyed the short (but steep) walk to 2 very pretty beaches, both of which had sun lounges available for hire at the back of the beach. All the staff at the resort were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in one of the bungalows which had everything necessary for a comfortable stay and we particularly enjoyed the novelty of the exterior courtyard bathroom. The restaurant and bar offered a varied and interesting menu. Oh, and the massages at the spa in the afternoon were fabulous!

I’m a 29 year old male from USA traveling with a friend. Cannot rate my experience any higher. My friend and I were scuba diving in Padangbai and needed a place to stay. The location of Absolute is INCHES from where the dives set off from which is perfect. Upon arrival we were greated with by the owner Julian who was super friendly and informative. For the price, you really cant beat it here. 2 specific reasons this hotel is different from others Ive stayed at in Bali: 1) the air conditioning actually gets cold. It’s refreshing going back to a chilled room. I’ve spend a lot of nights sweating through my blankets - no here 2) fresh water source directly in the room. No need to buy water bottles or risk it with tap water. The staff were so friendly and helpful. And breakfast is included. It was such a good experience, we extended our stay another night! I confidently reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting pandangbai who is looking for a nice, clean, affordable hotel that is across from the beach. Thanks Julian and team. I will absolutely be back!
