Modern upscale hostel. It was pretty clean. Bed and cover were comfortable. Clean towels. Toilets and shower area are being taken care of daily. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The lady manager (I forgot her name) was super nice. She managed to resolve my issue during my stay at Matini Hostel Grand Station. I highly recommend this hostel.

The place is amazing so I extended one more day. I really like this place.

Hostel is clean and decor plus lighting makes it looks so nice despite the price. Staff were all helpful. It's near the krungthep aphiwat train station for those having train journey , this is convenient. But location a bit far from city centre.

Very comfortable and peaceful hostel! Beds are spacious and comfy, other people in a dorm were respectful and quiet. Bathrooms were always clean! Location isn’t the best for those who want to explore the city, but metro and buses are within walking distance.  I definitely enjoyed my stay here, and would love to come back here in the future. It’s just so chill and relaxing✨

The location is near the railway station - Krung Thep Aphiwat just 10minutes walk

This is the hostel I definitely want to stay again when in Bangkok.

Perfect if you plan to take the train or visit the weekend market. The hostel is super clean, the beds are comfy and you can store your luggage before check in and after check out. Only the door to the room is pretty noisy cause it was a bit hard to open it.

This hostel is perfect for introverts but if you are looking for a social hostel, this place is defo not! It’s clean and nice though.

It felt like I was going home. This was my 3rd stay, my 1st being in late May this year (2024). I stressed 3rd stay to highlight the consistently high level of cleanliness and excellent service. Breeze, on the reception team, mentioned that when he saw my reservation, he set aside a lower bed for me. This touched my heart, knowing someone is watching out for me, an elderly female solo traveller. I want to quickly add that at no time did the staff make me feel uncomfortable being an elderly guest staying with younger folks in a hostel. My wish - I hope guests will participate in taking care of the property, like cleaning up after themselves and discarding of their waste according to their category : general, food and recyclables.

Out of the 20+ hostels I have stayed at across Southeast Asia, Matini Bangkok stands out as the absolute The entire hostel was spotless from the rooms to the common areas and bathrooms. It is clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, and it made my stay so much more comfortable. The staff at Matini Bangkok were amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Whether it was providing local tips or ensuring I had everything I needed, their hospitality was top-notch. The rooms were spacious, well-designed, and had a modern, stylish vibe. The beds were super comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made it feel more like a boutique hotel than a hostel.  10/10 Highly Recommended!
