The hotel are generally ok.
However, it’s ain’t up to our expectations as the moment we stepped into the room, we noticed that the main light and the lights above our bed aren’t working. Called up the reception and they responded to send maintenance personnel to help us replaced the next day. But, the lights weren’t replaced, repaired even until we checked. Reason of us not calling up the reception again for help is because we felt we might not need it anyway since we will be out the whole day. However, thinking back. The services provided weren’t as good as 4stars.

Room was great. We were not offered any parking arrangement so had to pay street parking and also get up early to get a ticket for the morning so no sleep in. Cleaners were loud and blocked the hallway. It’s already tight with the cleaning kart in the hallway but to leave stuff between the wall and the kart so there is no clear walk way was a bit inconsiderate. Other than that the overall stay was great and good value for money.

Excellent location and with historical significance. Nice touch to provide complimentary minibar drinks and snacks. Unfortunately, there were inconveniences experienced. First, light bulb to entrance door was spoil. Next day, fridge was not working. Third day, wifi was not working.

Loved this hotel. I was a little nervous about some of the review/descriptions describing it as shipping containers -- but once you are there, it just feels like any normal hotel. The rooms are compact, but totally sufficient. The design is great, beds are super comfortable, AC worked well, bathroom was really nice.
And the service was fantastic. It's a boutique hotel and you really felt the personal touch. They warmly greeted us on arrival, were happy to store our bags, gave all kinds of great advice, etc. On the morning of our check-out, we had to get an early start and hit the road at 7am (to catch the 7:30 ferry to Rottnest Island). Breakfast starts at 7am, so when we asked the night before if we could get some kind of to-go box, the lady at the front desk said she would just arrive a little early in the morning and have everything ready at 6:45 so we could eat something before we left the hotel. Amazing! They also let us just leave our suitcases in our room and said they would bring them down and store them at the front desk. We really felt like they actually cared about us and were willing to do whatever to make our stay great. Highly recommend!

This is a nice old style hotel, well renovated and retrofitted with an elevator. It has a great bar on the roof with views all around the area, which is near the mouth of the river. It has a bar downstairs that has a good range of beers, including Kilkenny Ale, one of my favourites. Unfortunately, it also has (really lour) live music on weekends. I was on the second floor and there was no way I could sleep until it stopped at midnight. The floor was vibrating and the bass came through the bed. On the plus side, it's in a great area, with lots of excellent cafes, restaurants, and shopping.

Great pub, my stay was comfortable. Rooms were clean and staff were very helpful. Very close to cappuccino ***** (walking distance) great food specials they have special every day. It would have been even nicer if they had en-suite however the shared toilets were clean and well kept so no issues. I will definitely be returning

We had an evening meal with friends midweek. This old pub has recently been refurbished and is a pleasant change from the loud yubby and trendy bars popping up all over the area. Good choice of beers on tap and a decent wine list. The meal was your usual ”pub grub” but done very well. The staff were very cheerful and pleasant. Well worth a visit if you are looking for someplace a bit traditional.

The Norfolk suited us perfectly for our overnight stay in Fremantle. Centrally located; friendly staff; good WiFi. The welcome drink (ie a pint each) was greatly appreciated on a hot Sunday afternoon! Our room was clean and organised. Great to have a Nespresso machine in there for a decent coffee. The tea selection was excellent too. The shower was awesome.

PPengguna TetamuThe thought of staying in prison is usually nothing you would enjoy. Well, we did enjoy our stay at the YHA a lot. We slept in a cell and due to the fact it's a heritage building, they can't install ACs in there, so it was warm at night, with day temperatures of 45 degrees. The fan did not really cool the room down, yet it was fine. We knew what we booked and that it can be hot in February. There are plenty of bathrooms all over the hostel, so you always find a shower or a toilette. The kitchen is spacious and clean. Of course, there are dirty dishes, but let's be honest: most of the guests are adults and should be capable of cleaning their dishes and clean up their mess. It's not the job of the staff to do this. The YHA has a nice, big garden, a big community area (inside) and a community area outside. It was very quiet at night, perfect for anybody, who needs some sleep. The staff was always very friendly and helpful and made our stay even better. It's located right next to Fremantle Prison and less than a five minutes walk from Fremantle market.

Stayed for three nights pre cruise. Very comfortable, smallish room, lighting was not so good, but the location and staff were excellemnt. Just around the corner from many restaurants and a short walk to the Fremantle Markets. Close to Fremantle station. Breakfast was really good, fresh orange juice, meusli, youghurt and berries, plus bread and the very best ever fruit loaf to be toasted. A selection of teas and two coffee machines - free local newspapers as well. At night from 5 -6 free glass of wine or beer, plus cheese next door - a very nice way to start the evening. Staff were very friendly, and informative, and we were able to wait in the breakfast/reception area after check-out, until it was time for our taxi. Hightly recommended
