I really enjoyed staying at this boutique hotel, which feels very reserved and luxurious. I liked that it is away from the city and close to the lake, which I enjoyed the morning walk very much. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable, hotel staffs are generally friendly and very helpful. I had the time to enjoy live music at the bar, and met a very talented young artist, Azura who sang really well with memorable classics. I used the gym as well, which is pretty well equipped but I thought it was not tidied up as promptly as guests left empty bottles and weights lying around when I entered. It was almost after an hour later before I saw someone coming in to disinfect some of the equipments. I feel the disinfectant should be made available to guests on obvious spots so we are able to clean them ourselves before/ after use. Meanwhile the receptionists could probably do some basic housekeeping after guests left instead of waiting for the cleaners. There aren't that many users, it's not really ”hard work” in upkeeping the tidiness of the room. The breakfast spread was good and I loved the fact the the buffet is opened till 1:30pm!! Yes, finally a hotel that respects or generous enough to provide last breakfast for those who rise later on weekends. Food and coffee were really good, and this is a strong plus point for me to consider revisiting when i'm in town next!

Excellent hotel The rooms are big, clean and have a great view on both rivers. The buffet breakfast is highly superior to other hotels of the same category in China. The Western dishes are all very good (including the viennoiseries) and the local and classic Chinese breakfast dishes are fresh, tasty and easily accessible. The staff is extremely helpful and the hotel is close to most attractions.

We just had a fantastic family vacation celebrating my wife’s birthday in Changsha, and staying at the Oryard Hotel Changsha Juzhou was a wonderful decision. We checked in on May 22, 2026, and checked out on May 25, 2026. I can easily provide 5+ star comments without hesitation. The hotel is very new and has a grand and clean overall impression. The river view from the hotel is magnificent. All the facilities are advanced. The room is spacious, and I love the modern Chinese style design. What really impressed me was the service? Both the front desk and the restaurant staff can provide proactive services. For example, I had a little cough during my breakfast, and the restaurant manager provided me with some food and drink that could comfort my coughing. All the restaurant staff were well-trained and offered excellent service during our breakfast time. The butler service was amazing too, which made my wife’s birthday celebration memorable. My wife and daughter were extremely impressed. Also, the gym and swimming pool were clean and comfortable. Finally, this is the first time I’ve enjoyed writing comments after my hotel stay. I was extremely happy to recognize the team at the Oryard Hotel Changsha Juzhou. I believe the leadership and management of the hotel have spent tremendous efforts in training, as this level of service is difficult to achieve. We are also thinking of visiting Zhangjiajie during the winter holidays. We will obviously stay at the Oryard Hotel Changsha and are looking forward to coming back.

The hotel was sleek, clean and comfortable. I only stayed for a night on my first day in Hunan Province, but it was a relaxing place to come back to after a busy day in the city. Very convenient if you need to catch a train or visit tourist spots, as it is close to a metro station that can easily reach the railway stations and Orange Isle (Juzizhou).

**Exceptional Stay at 236 FUNGEE Hotel – A Hidden Gem in Changsha** As a frequent traveler to Hunan, Changsha, I’ve stayed at many hotels around IFS and Wuyi Square, but traffic and congestion have always been an issue—until now. 236 FUNGEE Hotel was a refreshing change! Located just an 8-minute walk from IFS, it offers both convenience and peace. A huge thank you to Dong Cheng and Peng Peng for their warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The hotel was exceptionally clean—far beyond my expectations. Room service and complimentary laundry service were provided daily without fail, which made our stay all the more comfortable. We also chose to upgrade with the breakfast buffet, and it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous and the food was delicious every single morning. A special highlight of our stay was the extraordinary support we received on our last day. My younger brother misplaced his necklace, and when we reported it, the hotel manager immediately engaged a team to help. Their swift and thorough action led to the necklace being found and returned to us—an act of kindness and professionalism we deeply appreciated. Special thanks to the beautiful and kind-hearted manager—you truly have a golden heart. We are more than happy with our experience and will definitely return for our next visit to Changsha. One of my favourite stays in Changsha! Everything that I liked about this stay was that — lobby gave off serene vibes, reception was lovely, room was clean with a pleasant gentle scent, free self-serviced laundry facility, simple yet well equipped mini-gym, and not to mention they had this sun-dried mandarin snack served with local tea. I highly recommend this stay to travellers who are travelling light and want a peace of mind from the hustling bustling city noise. One more thing! The millet porridge they offered as supper was the greatest late night snack I could ever asked for on a rainy night! (FYI, I’m not sure if this is offered on a regular basis).

The hotel is amazing, very clean and spacious. Services and amenities are exceptional with live singer at night at RUNWAY Bar. Concierge is very helpful and kept my luggage well while I ran errands.

It was a great stay! The staff I met were consistent and ready to offer help when needed. Metro was nearby and a good option to avoid the traffic during peak hours. Will appreciate if I was told earlier that swimming cap is required for use of the swimming pool as I went the day earlier to check it out. Thankful that they still allowed me to use the jacuzzi.

We’re delighted to have stayed here. The reviews consistently praise its great location and the fact that the ground floor of the hotel offers access to the plaza.  The 50m² room also boasts ample storage and a walking wardrobe, making it a great choice for travellers with lots of luggage. Another positive point is the excellent air quality in this hotel. Unfortunately quite often I could smell mould in some even five stars hotels. But not this one, which I am very pleased. However, I’d like to mention the sightseeing ticket. The hotel provides one-way tickets, but the sightseeing bus doesn’t run a circular route.  This means you’ll need to pay to return. The one-way ticket costs 6 RMB and the hop-on-hop-off ticket is 28 RMB.  The total duration is likely around 30 minutes, which isn’t too long.  I think the sightseeing bus route design is a bit poor as we often see the buses empty.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at Changsha. The location was near to the top shopping districts in Changsha (黄兴广场, 坡子街, etc.) so you can save on taking a Didi to reach these locations. The hotel lobby was very inviting with Mandopop music being played. The room was spacious and comfortable, with sufficient complimentary amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, comb, shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper provided. The AI voice-activated (小度) room control system added an extra touch to the modern decor and best of all, the TV was working without having to download additional apps. Although the buffet breakfast did not have a wide variety, the quality of the food was decent for the price paid. They had items such as fries and fried chicken steak which were not offered even at hotels that charge a higher rate. To top if off, the hotel provided free popcorn and farewell gifts (moisturising cream, wet tissue) which was a nice gesture. There was a electrical trip late into the night on one of the days (guests who were already asleep might not have realised it) but the staff was on top of things and managed to restore the power within 30 minutes. Overall, I had an extremely pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone seeking a modern, clean, comfortable and well-managed hotel at a very reasonable price.
