Hotel Burgos dengan Bar

El hotel está bien ubicado, cerca de la catedral (10 mins caminando). Es un hotel cómodo y familiar. Si regreso a Burgos seguramente me hospedaré aquí de nuevo.

Os quartos, bem como o pequeno-almoço, estão mais ao nível de um 5 do que de um 4 estrelas. Atenção que o restaurante do hotel (que é óptimo) fecha aos domingos. Uma dica - a 100 metros a oeste do hotel existe um parque de estacionamento público mais barato e espaçoso do que o do hotel.

Nos alojamos en este hotel ya varias veces. Se encuentra al lado del campus universitario, a las afueras de Burgos y la zona nos resulta cómoda para quedarnos. Digamos que somos clientes habituales. Es un hotel modesto, con mobiliario clásico e instalaciones antiguas y algunas estropeadas o rotas, pero económico y bastaste limpio. Aunque el desayuno es demasiado caro para lo que ofrecen y hay una cafetería estupenda justo al lado. Reservamos siempre habitación doble con cama de matrimonio o triple según necesitamos. Pero la última vez que nos alojamos allí, al llegar a recepción la chica que nos atendió cambió la reserva que teníamos ya hecha de habitación en el ático por otra habitación en la primera planta que ella consideró mucho mejor, especificándonos que era más cara pero que nos mantendría el precio, (preferíamos nuestra habitación en el ático, pero no dijimos nada). Cuando entramos a la habitación vemos que son dos camas de 90 separadas. Bajamos de nuevo a recepción y le decimos que preferimos cama de matrimonio como las que tienen en el ático y nos responde que no tienen camas de matrimonio, que en el ático también son camas separadas y que nos tendria que cobrar un suplemento por la bañera de hidromasaje. Que si queremos, nos junta las dos camas de 90 en cuanto pueda, porque no puede dejar la recepción sola. En fin, todo un misterio. No le hicimos juntar las camas, pero la situación fue bastante decepcionante. Suerte que por la zona hay muchos más hoteles donde elegir.

Exceptional location, entrancing view from our room, beautiful hotel exterior and interior, well-appointed, spacious and comfortable room, engaging staff, excellent service, delicious meals! Need I say more? We just loved our stay and we all long to go back!

Very good hotel in the middle of the city. The secure parking is excellent and directly below the reception. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel restaurant as thanks to the protesting farmers our 6 hour journey took 12 hours instead of 6! The late hour of arrival made it a bit of a hobsons choice but it turned out that every cloud has a silver lining! The set menu was superb as were the staff. I normally avoid hotel restaurants but if you stay here the set 3 course menu is fabulous and fantastic value for money. The restaurant staff were also friendly efficient and helpful. We would particularly like to thank them for turning what was an incredibly stressful day into one not too bad.

Located in an industrial area 10mins north of Burgos town with ample free parking. We utilised this hotel as our last night stopover before catching the early afternoon ferry from Santander. Easy access onto the main road network and just under 2hrs drive to the ferry port. Unfortunately the day of our visit was a public holiday in Spain so the hotel was brimming with guests in the in house restaurant and the reception guys were obviously not happy having to work from the lack of welcome and expressions on their faces. Never the less the room exceeded our expectations in view of the very good room rate. Good size and very clean room with very comfortable beds and everything you need in the bathroom. Good for a one night stopover before catching the ferry.

We stayed here on the way back to Santander at the end of our road trip in Spain. We picked this hotel as parking was easy , a bonus in Burgos. The room was very modern , very clean , fridge, tv , great shower and VERY comfy beds. Bit of confusion on check in , when i asked to confirm that breakfast was included , was told no. O checking my booking confirmation, I found it was, went back to the desk , saw the same gentleman , who grudgingly admitted it was . This same gentleman also advised me breakfast would be served in the right hand restaurant , and marked the hotel location on a map for me. Both these were wrong ! Breakfast was served in the main busy with locals) restaurant ,and the map location was totally wrong ! Maybe he was having an off day ? We got a taxi in to Burgos 12.00 euros , We chose to eat in the restaurant attached to the hotel for dinner, and it was excellent, a menu del dia , including a bottle of wine , dessert and coffee was 14.00 euros pp , great value !

Nous avons apprécié le cadre pittoresque de l'hôtel, la propreté de l'établissement, tant dans les parties communes que privatives, le personnel fort aimable le petit déjeuner copieux, servi à table, mention spéciale pour l'omelette, la possibilité de se garer gratuitement. Seul bémol, l'éloignement relatif du centre historique

This is quite a quirky hotel, very different in many aspects. Especially the decor was unexpected. However, our room was great with a decent size bath and big windows which were nice. It was also quiet although it faced the street. One thing that bothered us in the room was a strange security light that, in the dark, was really bright. The breakfast was so-so. That I wouldn't recommend. The best part was the service, though. The man at the reception was very kind and professional!

My partner and I are staying at Hotel Rice Reyes Católico in a group booking as part of an arts festival in beautiful Burgos, Spain. We have been in Burgos 17 times (but who’s counting?), so we know the town and the hotels. When we arrived at the hotel and went to our room, it was stuffy. We turned on the air conditioning, but nothing happened. No cool air came out of the vents. We left, had dinner, and returned around 11 p.m. Still no air. We asked the night desk clerk about the AC. He said, “Do you have a fan?” We said that we didn’t, but when we entered our room, we saw that a fan had been brought to the room. This fan was our air conditioning. In Spain. In July. On day four of our stay, the fan is still our AC, despite repeated requests to the front disk to have the AC fixed. The response is always, “We hope that the AC will be fixed today.” Hopes and prayers, y’all. Our room, upgraded from a basic domicile, is barely large enough for two people and their luggage. The closet space is minimal, and you can’t hang a suit jacket without it touching the.bottom of the closet. This is a dorm room or a youth hostel, not a hotel. Furthermore, our upgraded room is on the back of the hotel, with a view of a concrete wall. Charming… And then there’s the smell of sewerage that permeates not only our room, but the rooms of our colleagues. Funky and nasty, to say the least. The breakfasts are barely adequate. The soggy tortilla, the most typical dish in Spain, is inedible. Really? If you are planning to visit Burgos, one of the preeminent smaller towns in Spain, with the most impressive cathedral in the country, please do yourself a favor and don’t stay at this sinkhole of a hotel. There are plenty of better affordable options. The hotel has the nerve to call itself a four-star operation. It’s a two-star hotel at best, and given our experience, it’s actually a one-star establishment. Avoid at all costs.
