PPengguna TetamuIt’s a bit uphill. But once you get there, the view is nice . The location is tranquil. It’s a pleasant surprise. The hosts are friendly and sincere. We had a good time there, especially the night we spent in for the dinner. Thoughtful and warm hospitality.

PPengguna TetamuHotel very nice grounds fabulous room very spacious in quiet part of hotel I took Ill during the night the hotel staff were amazing the next day I had to go to hospital in Lancaster to get checked over hotel staff showed paramedics to our room .on return from hospital hotel staff couldn't do enough for us I would highly recommend the hotel outstanding customer service.

PPengguna TetamuLovely hotel room was smaller than expected and also the bathroom but it had everything we needed and was lovely and clean the breakfast was lovely catered for my gluten intolerance and the staff were really lovely especially Olivia who served us drinks for both nights nothing was too much trouble for her would highly recommend and we will be back

PPengguna TetamuThe Macdonald Old England Hotel is well situated, being just a stones throw from the lakeside and the shops in Bowness.
The staff are friendly and obliging and the service matches their attitude.
The breakfasts are fine, although the staff can sometimes be a bit slow in replenishing the tureens.
We did not use the Spa, so we cannot comment on that.
Overall, we found the hotel to have all the facilities that we were lookling for and we would be happy to stay there again.

YYilukaixuange酒店地處一片綠林之中，還有專屬的花園和充足的停車位，走路去鮑內斯碼頭大約需要20幾分鐘（找了五六個停車場都沒找到空車位），酒店內部裝飾不錯，有酒吧餐廳，服務也不錯，唯一的遺憾是我住的房間，既沒有wifi信號，而通信公司的信號也非常微弱時斷時續。

MMiranda☺️I recently stayed at the Woodlands Hotel in the Lake District, and I was very pleased with the experience. First of all, the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options including fresh salmon, which was a nice touch. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, giving it a homely feel. The hotel is also in a convenient location, with a nearby bus stop that makes it easy to reach the main attractions in the Lake District. Overall, it’s a great value hotel with attentive service. Highly recommended!

PPriyanka BajirajThe property and the ambience is lovely. The view from the restaurant garden is very pleasant and beautiful. The room size, bathroom size and amenities were good. We faced 1 major problem to be precise which made us a bit sore.
Cleanliness - the room was clean except for the carpet. It didn’t feel like it was vacuumed. There was probably a pet staying in that room before us and there was a lot of hair on the carpet. I understand it is a pet friendly property and I have absolutely no problem with that. But cleaning the room properly before the next checkin is a basic expectation. We couldn’t step on the floor without our feet being covered with hair.
Apart from that, everything else was very good. Breakfast was also good and the customer service was very polite and hospitable as well.
