"My first time travellong solo and this hostel hasn't disappointed. Couldn't have asked for a better location than opposite the Riga Central station. I booked the place without being fully aware of the access to transport. The hostel also have a very stringent policies on shoes off in the social space and the bedroom (which as an East Asian I don't really object). Perhaps most surprising was the bathroom cleanliness, which a hostel in Edinburgh really disappointed me on. Finally the receptionist are truly eager to help with any burning questions."

NNikhilGood hotel but little costly. Breakfast was good and had lots of of options for vegetarian. One weird thing though there is no free water, either drink tap water from bathroom or pay for it that too 5£ for water bottle. I didn’t like this,water is very basic thing and should be free after paying a good amount for hotel booking. Rest all was good.

JJJGGCCRRThe Pullman is a very upscale hotel, centrally located in the old town of Riga. Getting here from the airport was easy, and the check-in was smooth. The staff greeted me with a smile and provided tips about Riga. The room was clean, spacious and you could tell its been recently renovated. The Spa facilities left a bit to be desired, with a tiny pool and a sauna that didn't get too hot. Still, the restaraunt in the hotel made up for it with excellent food and service. For the price paid I was blown away. Would definitely stay again.

EExploring world with NNI had a wonderful stay at Wellton Riverside Hotel in Riga. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome made me feel at home. The customer service team was very helpful, assisting me with recommendations for the best attractions in Riga.
The hotel’s location is excellent—perfect for exploring the main sights of the city, and very convenient for reaching bus, train, and tram stations. One of the highlights was that the hotel helped us get the best price for a boat trip around the city when booking directly through them.
The rooms were in very good condition, clean and comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Riga!

SSka525Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

PPengguna TetamuThis huge (444 beds) former ”Moevenpick” Hotel in the outskirts of Riga can be a good value (see below) but shows its age (potentially from 1990 not much rennovated. The parking space is offered as ”free” but capacity is limited and you might park on public areas (as long as this is free to all, hotel will keep their parking ”free” - I suppose soon private parking management will start (charge impertinent 5€/h or so) and hotel will offer ”bargain” 25€ for the night as in Centrs.
The rooms are quite good in size and equipment (single room AC in summer is a plus!!) but oldfashioned and worn - so I'd say acceptabel for sleeping only. Customer are mainly travel groups from Germany, Poland and other Baltic states.
In summer it's nice that you can have breakfast (15€ extra - check the rates incl. - actually no access control) on the terrace, quality and selection is good.
Sauna 15€/person for 2 hours....
Remember that the area is remote, to visit Centrs or oldtown you NEED to use tram or Bolt. Though restaurants are in walking distance (google wil find)
This place a has value with rates for double incl. breakfast for 50-60€ (single 45-50€) on alotment base - I'd be very much disappointed to pay 100€++ for such a old worn ”booth” - max 3* more 2*

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel's central location in the northeast end of Riga's old town made it very easy to explore the city. We were close to the city's main attractions and were within a 5 minute walk to the Cat House, Freedom Monument, Riga/Dome Cathedral, and St. Peter's Cathedral.
We booked the room without a window. It was very nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. The room was quiet but a bit stuffy and we felt the AC wasn't strong enough. We felt there was still good value with this room though because of the price and there was a lot packed into it. There was a Nespresso coffee machine, tea station, cute tea cups and a large bathroom with a very nice shower. We appreciated that a wall adapter was provided and plugged in that worked with North American style plugs.
The hotel is in a building from the 17th century and has a very nice looking mirrored atrium. There is a fun story where a horse threw a shoe, hit this building and stuck so the owner kept it because he felt it was good luck. The hotel has a bar in the lobby as well as a small shop.
The highlight of this hotel was the breakfast which had a great view of the city from the window and a very good breakfast. The breakfast had a small buffet with cheese, smoked fish, fresh bread and some other nice choices. We enjoyed the variety of drinks like the rhubarb lemonade and hot chocolate. You can order one hot item which included.

Durante la giornata offrono acqua limonata disponibile nella hall e biscotti caserecci davvero ottimi. La colaIone è sensazionale: tutto di ottima qualità e un menu’ alla carta gratuito: l’avocado toast che vedete in foto è squisito. Staff professionale.
Meglio di così difficile fare.

PPengguna TetamuHotel is very conveniently located, next to the mall and central station, minutes walk to the bus station, central market and old town. Check in was perfect and helpful with city map provided. Kettle, cups, sachet tea and coffee are provided, shampoo, hand soap, tissue paper, shower cap were provided in the bathroom. Would be good if they provided body lotion and hair conditioner. Sadly, the power plugs at the desk does not fit a travel adaptor and there are no usb ports. The single bed was right next to the curtain and a mirror is right in front of the bed, very weird room design. There’s a safe deposit box in the room. Do remember to bring your own slippers as no room slippers are provided.
