Hotel Jeddah dengan Bar

Here’s my itinerary and travel tips for Jeddah. I stayed at Rixos Hotel and overall it was a great experience. The food was excellent with a wide variety of options. One great thing is that the stay becomes all-inclusive, even if you originally book without meals. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish they had was a Qur’an available in the rooms.

The hotel is nice. Very clean rooms. The breakfast may be the best breakfast spread we’ve had at a midrange hotel. We looked forward to it every day. Arabic coffee and dates in the lobby is a nice treat too. But the pool and “spa” need a lot of work. The sauna and steam room don’t work. Broken panels on the wall. Kind of gross. But overall recommend for the room and breakfast.

We stayed at InterContinental Jeddah for three nights over New Year’s Eve, expecting a special experience, but unfortunately the service was mediocre and underwhelming. Despite contacting the hotel two weeks in advance and receiving confirmation, the room was not prepared for three people upon arrival. Communication with reception and housekeeping was disappointing. An additional bed had to be requested twice, and when it finally arrived it was set up with a questionable brown blanket instead of proper white bedding. It took further effort to have it corrected. We also had to repeatedly ask for an extra towel for the third guest. The instant service phone line was constantly busy, forcing us to walk to reception multiple times. Even basic items like bath gel dispenser were not refilled, we had to call. Guest Relations contacted us via WhatsApp to ask about our stay, but after we responded, there was no reply at all—it appeared to be an automated message. Reception staff were forgetful and not proactive, despite the reception never being particularly busy during our stay. When asking about New Year’s Eve events, no one mentioned or attempted to upsell the hotel’s own buffet or any other activities. We only discovered the daily buffet (available until 1 a.m.) later when speaking directly with restaurant staff. There was also no information provided about Africa Cup screenings. On a positive note, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the breakfast staff were the only truly attentive and professional team members throughout our stay. Particular thanks to the Egyptian(?) manager and his team. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the service level does not currently reflect the InterContinental brand, especially for a holiday stay.

I had a pleasant night with this hotel. Nice room, really clean, bed was freshly mad. I got very sensitif skin, so i knew it when the bedsheet is not changed. My room was really quiet, i'm telling you, i slept like a baby. Friendly staff, repectfully und really helpfull. Really recommended, wish can take some more night with this hotel

المكان جميل والموقع كذلك والموظفين راقين ومتفاهمين ومتعانين جدا ولكن يعيب الاستقبال عدم الرد على الاتصال من الغرفة والتأخير في جلب الاحتياج وكذلك الأسعار للحجز أحيان يكون مبالغ فيها

The breakfast did not met the buffet settings. More on arab foods they serve. No spoon and forks been served

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de receptioniste oujdane en medewerker mizanon. De beveiligers zijn ook vriendelijk. De kamer was schoon. Goeie wifi op de kamer en in het hotel. Je kan zelfs tot 14:00 uit checken en denken met je mee.  Een grote mall op loopafstand. Kortom een fijne hotel met goede ligging met vriendelijke mensen. Een aanrader!

I stayed in three different hotels in Jeddah, this one was the best of the three. But that doesn't mean it was great, it means it was better than not great.

Good location as close to the airport so good to book for a night if you got an early flight so overall I'm impressed with the location and price
