This hotel is beautiful and tranquil, set in a tropical environment with many open-air areas. You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option.

The hotel is located away from the busy, crowded areas of the island, and the views are truly stunning. Waking up to the sea and enjoying the peaceful surroundings is definitely the highlight of staying here.
However, there are several aspects that take away from what could have been a much better experience.
• The staff is noticeably unfriendly, which feels unusual for Thailand. The atmosphere lacks the warmth and hospitality the country is known for, possibly because most of the team is not Thai.
• Cleanliness could be significantly improved. The restaurant area, parts of the resort, and even the beach did not feel as well maintained as they should be.
• The beach directly in front of the hotel tends to get crowded, with many sunbeds occupied by towels for hours without being used.
• The food is average overall, and the breakfast in particular is quite bland and uninspiring.
That said, the sea itself is beautiful and almost makes up for the shortcomings (swimming surrounded by fishes is amazing). It’s worth staying for a couple of days to enjoy the view and the water. You can also head to the nearby, more secluded stretch of Loh Moo Dee for a quieter and more pleasant beach experience.

DDanielNKThis hotel is tucked away in a secluded area and is best reached by long-tail boats or their hourly shuttle service to a town pickup point. Just be aware the shuttle stops at 9pm.
My room had a dripping air conditioning unit and some loud mechanical noise from a nearby pump disturbed my sleep.
Otherwise, the view was great and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

BBrucaledoAbsolutely fantastic journey, I love this island with beautiful coastline and little mountains that you can do a bit hikes. And the hotel is right located on the north of the phiphi island. I wish I can spend more time here, with my family. But I would say it’s the best place for couples too, you can swim and dance, enjoy the fire show or simply just this nature island.

PPengguna TetamuWe selected a waterfront room and it was wonderful. We loved the room and the views. However, we found very uncomfortable that upon arrival there was a topless woman with her boobs out which is really bad for a couple to have that view when looking at the beach - so maybe, since it is a small beach that’s part of the resort, topless or nudity should not be allowed. The service was also impeccable as well as the food. Our tip: place a bucket in front of the front door so we can fill it with water to clean our feet from the beach sand before entering the room. Our room was always full of sand inside. Another long term change that could be considered is the mattress quality - it is quite hard and not so comfortable. Otherwise, everything in this hotel was perfect: food, room, service, super calm, cleanliness, etc. My husband and I would surely come back!

It’s a short boat ride to the mainland where there’s lots of shops and restaurants- the hotel offers a boat taxi service at certain times of the day for a small price. The restaurant at the hotel was great with lots of options to choose from and really friendly staff. Our room was a super cute hut up the hill that included a mosquito net over the bed and hot water which was handy. The Cove has its own beach which was picturesque and had places to sit. It also has its own shop! Overall our stay at The Cove was great and we would stay here again!

PPengguna TetamuI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal.
I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable.
Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data.
Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common.
The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand.
The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon.
The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets.
Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

There're provided only a small bottle of water. Breakfast is just so-so. The location of the hotel located in not crowded. It is in the residential area of the islanders. The food price is not as high as the central area of the island. However, the beach on the Ton Sai area is more beautiful and the water is more inviting to swim. However, it is convenient to walk to the pier. The hotel provides a luggage cart service for customer to pick up and drop off at the pier.

LLu ValenzuelaLet’s start for the good … the hotel view is astonishing, just few minutes from the phiphi view point so if you are a sunset lover this is the pace .
Now… the down sides , the appliances in the hotel aren’t in the best shape, this place needs renovation, we had to change our room at least the could solve that , the stairs to arrive to the hotel are really up , so I think this is not a hotel for families with babies or elders , those stairs might be really hard
