I had a mini suite by myself and that was great! It’s a little older hotel, but I feel happy in those kind of places. Great location, people and a lot of things to do. Also for families.

Clerk at checkin was NOT friendly. Did not ask if we'd been to this hotel before, did NOT offer directions to the elevator, which are around the corner from the front desk, not visible and not obvious when looking for them. we wandered around with our luggage for several minutes before an employee helped us.
This town has a severe shortage of taxi cabs, making getting anywhere difficult to impossible.
There are no nearby restaurants, forcing guests to dine at their overpriced eateries.

I stayed at Silver Legacy for a night after skiing at Boreal Mountain at day time. I booked a deluxe twin room at 15th floor which was nice, with a good view of the mountains. Staff told me that premier rooms were located at higher floors. I thought a deluxe room was good enough and at a reasonable price. Hotel location is convenient with direct access to shopping mall and ******. I would stay there again next time.

Booo… this one is at the bottom of my list Well, if you have an opportunity to stay at a different hotel, closer in town little more expensive if you can afford it, try not to stay too long at this one it’s an old hotel. It’s a old stinky ****** needs to be leveled and rebuilt wrong part of town, a lot of transient people on the street. I did not like it but it was cheap. It was clean and old and stunk phone. Desk was friendly maintenance was nonexistent. I change the filter in my AC unit because it was nasty. I stayed there for two night. The only thing that was comfortable was leaving my truck outside because they had security in a fenced in area. Security walk to grounds all the time not nice not good I don’t like.

I've had two one night stays here in the last six months and found this to be a well situated in modern property on the banks of the Truckee River. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, casinos are reasonable walk as well if that's your thing. Interior decor is very unique; not the typically sterile setting of many newer chain hotels. They have a patio outside the restaurant right along the bar, which makes for a nice setting, whether catching up on work or with friends after dinner. So large interior bocce ball and gaming area, though it was closed on both my visits. Nicely sized and functional rooms, with good water pressure even on the top floor. Far too many Marriott properties are yet to reopen their concierge lounges, but this was accessible 24 seven and had a great breakfast set up. Only negative notes were that trying to connect to Wi-Fi in some parts of the hotel just didn't seem to work. Well, I had no problem on my laptop, several of us had challenges connecting on our phones. And well plenty of water and soda is available for the taking in the lounge, I didn't find anywhen I walked inside my room. However, I definitely stay again if the tariff is reasonable.

It's been a while. I checked into this hotel in Dec 2023. But I still remember the fee vividly. The manager charged me $32 for the minor blood stains on sheet due to my daughter's nose blood. I attached the pictures here. I was not happy and called the manager and she said it was following the guidelines and protocol and no refund. It was my first time to charge such a fee and ironically I've been a diamond member of hilton for years. In the end I complained to Hilton Corp and it sent me the check of $32 after a few months. I believe many other parents may face similar situations, not all of whom have time or efforts to defend their legitamate rights as consumers. So I tell my story here on Tripadvisor as I just did on google review. And for sure I will not stay there any more.

SsproutywomanWe are here because of a Dr appointment and surgery so early morning appointments with doctors in walking distance it was the perfect choice. We got a smaller room, 1 king bed and our room includes a kitchen, actually has a refrigerator, microwave, small top burner stove, sink, coffee maker and is dog friendly. We’re here for 2 nights and it’s very convenient ,comfortable, clean, very nice staff, breakfast room, all good. We’ll be back for 2nd round of surgery in 2 weeks and already made our reservation

SSpencer702I hate to be so harsh but this hotel has the worst customer service of ANY Marriott property I have ever stayed at. I stay more than 120 nights a year in Marriott hotels and have never encounter an unfriendlier staff. It started at check in. I checked in on the app and received a mobile key. When I arrived, I had to run inside and grab a parking pass. When I approached the lady at the counter I was met with silence and a look like I was annoying her. No, “hello” or “welcome”….nothing! Me…”Hi, I checked in on the app and received a mobile key, do I need a parking pass? Clerk…”room number? I gave her the number and she handed me the pass. That was it! I went and parked and walked back into the hotel. You literally have to walk RIGHT in front of the desk and she completely ignored me. I must have walked by the front desk a dozen times over three days and NEVER did anyone ever say anything. My coworker and I were joking about it every time we walked by. No, “Welcome Back,” “Hello”, or “Have a nice day!” NOTHING. When there were two clerks at the desk they would be deep in their conversation and keep talking and ignore you. You are in the HOSPITALITY business! Make your guests feel welcome! When someone travels a lot it’s nice to come back to a hotel with a pleasant and friendly staff. I’ve stayed at many hotels that were older and more dated than this property, but the staff would make the stay exceptional. Not here! As far as the hotel room itself, I had no complaints. It’s clean and quiet but I’ve never left a hotel and felt so unwelcome. Please get your act together and provide some customer service.

PPengguna TetamuThe air conditioning was broken and while I understand this could not be helped the resolution was 2 drink vouchers. No information was provided when I walked past the front desk, I had to call down to the desk because the room was so warm and no update was shared with guests that it would not be fixed that day so guests could plan accordingly.
I love Hiltons and will always stay at a Hilton when I can, but I will not stay at this location in the future. Communication was poor and after a long business trip and a VERY hot day I just needed to sleep which I could not do because it was so warm.

I wasn't the only guest who got lost, but it turns out there's a little map in the key card holder they give you when you check in. I didn't see it until I turned in my key card at checkout. It's an older building and has plenty of free parking. Cost seemed reasonable, no surprise fees. The room was clean and the mattress and pillows were excellent, just to my preference. There's a fridge and microwave and of course a TV. My room looked out on the indoor pool and the evening I went to bed early the sound of kids playing right outside my window woke me up. They weren't being obnoxiously loud, just kids having fun, and the parents took them in before it got very late, so it wasn't a problem but could be if pool guests are inconsiderate. The ice machine and vending is not near the elevators or any place else a guest would naturally think to look. I wandered a LONG way through the maze of corridors before I found them, and I never went back because it was ridiculously far from my room. The AC unit was very loud -- I just kept it on constant fan instead of auto so that it wouldn't jar me away each time it kicked on. There was a low, electronic thrumming sound that kept me awake, too. It wasn't the AC but seemed to come from the area of the microwave. I heard it all night the first night, but just occasionally on the second night.
