Clean rooms, bathrooms and lobby. Very conveniently located. Good breakfast with a wide variety. Very good value for money compared to nearby hotels.

Don't get taken in by the reviews about the location. The area is not the best, but most areas coming off La Rambla are like this. We never felt unsafe at any point. The hotel was perfect for the 3 days we were in Barcleona. Yes, the walls are very thin so you can hear all the rooms around you, but that did not affect us much. The staff were very good, hotel was clean, room was perfect. Breakfast was included and was excellent. I would stay here again as the location was ideal and there are actually some amazing restaurants around the hotel.

Very near to the metro and gothic quarter, best location but amenities abit less, must bring or buy your things.

The room is located at a great location, room clean and spacious. The staff were also very helpful.

Hotel con buenos servicios con habitación muy amplia y cómoda. Muy bien situado aunque zona problemática a ciertas horas de la noche.

Albergo comodo in posizione centrale vicinissimo alla rambla e fermata metro verde Liceu (5 minuti a piedi). La camera è spaziosa ma manca un po' di zone d'apoggio (non c'è un armadio ma solo appendini a vista ed una mensola che però per tre non bastava.. Ho trovato assurdo che risistemavano piegandoli gli asciugamani ma senza canbiarli quindi essendo uguali si mischiavano.. E la cosa più assurda è stato un pomeriggio rientrati alle 16:15 abbiamo dovuto aspettare perché la camera doveva ancora esser sistemata..

O único ponto fraco que identifiquei foi o pequeno almoço. Era muito básico.

Was a bit apprehensive before arriving to stay at this hotel given some of the terrible reviews I read before going. All I can say is that I cannot disagree strongly enough with them! The hotel itself is very trendy, clean, modern, well kept. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. We stayed in a superior room (203 - which I would recommend) which was a corner room with en suite, bedroom & open plan sofa/living area & Juliette balcony. Initially I felt the room was a little small and dark however I then realised that the wooden shutters slide out of the way and both window doors can open! This let a lot of light in and felt like we had a full balcony which was lovely. It faces on to the back of the hotel and other apartments round about but doesn’t feel blocked in. We didn’t have any issues with noise during our stay at all. Housekeeping visited daily and refreshed our towels. The shower was powerful and had good temperature control. The bed - mattress and pillows - was super comfy! I can’t fault the room at all other than the fact there was no fridge. It is room only of course rather than self-catering so you can’t expect such facilities but even a small mini fridge would be a welcome addition to store water overnight or such like. With regard to location - this is probably what I was most apprehensive about. The area certainly isn’t the cleanest or nicest, however, I have experienced worse. There are plenty of locals and other tourists about, as well as quite a high police presence (which seems to be the case in the surrounding area of Las Ramblas anyway, not just in Raval) so I never felt unsafe at any point. There are a few undesirables who linger around the area but they don’t seem to bother with you. My advice would just be to keep your wits about you and your bag protected from pickpockets at all times - which again I would say goes for anywhere in Barcelona! It certainly wouldn’t put me off returning to this hotel again!

The street witch is locate this hotel is very dangerous, the rooms were so tiny so different from the pictures, don't plug your iPhone don't workpeople at the front are unfriendly, I didn't want go out at night because of the area . I will not recommend

If you want a comfortable stay do NOT stay in this hotel. On first impression the hotel was lovely. I liked the minimalist industrial style decor. Breakfast was satisfactory although there wasn’t a great range on offer. Staff seemed fairly pleasant. But that’s it. We booked as this hotel had air conditioning - our one main requirement for a hotel in Europe in the summer. It did not have functioning air conditioning. The rooms were boiling. At night you couldn’t sleep it was so warm and you were soaked in sweat after being in your room for about 15 minutes. One night my husband attempted to sleep on the bathroom floor to try to be a little cooler. We barely slept while there and my Fitbit showed that my resting heart rate had raised by 15bpm and was outside my normal range - I am attributing this to the heat we were subjected to. It would have been cooler being on the streets. There was apparently an issue with the air conditioning, which could be solved by the hotel staff manually resetting it every hour or hour and a half - which they didn’t do as a matter of routine - they would only do if you complained. Even when they did this it didn’t blow out cold air because of how they had it set. Yet the reception area was affected by none of this and had constant cold air. We suspect it was a money saving venture for the hotel. If it was a genuine issue surely they would have paid for a professional to come and fix it on day one instead of simply getting hotel staff to press a button. Would never stay here again.

Stayed at the Raval House between 8-13/06/2024 for a short city break. Hotel is well presented and clean. It was a short walk to all local amenities including La Rambla, the Marina, restaurants, bars, bus and train services. The roof top terrace and pool looked nice however unable to use due to poor weather. The only negatives were that there was no fridge in the room to cool water and the area appeared to be frequented by local youths who gathered around in groups. Despite this we did return in July prior to departing Spain via Barcelona. We would definitely return to the Raval House based on our experience.

We just got back from a lovely stay. The rooms were very nice, comfy bed and we found the hotel to be quiet. The breakfast was fine not tonnes of choice but was still nice. The hotel was in a really good location off La Rambla and right by the food market. We did have some dodgy looking people around the hotel just be sensible and keep your belongings close but that goes for the whole of Barca as it is renowned for pick pockets.

Came directly to hotel from the airport via the metro. The hotel is close to two metro stations. The reception is welcoming and held our bags as room wasn’t ready. The area is in between 2 food markets and there is a good selection of cafes close to the hotel. The room was very clean and the bathroom a good size. The hotel is very quiet. The breakfast was outstanding. Good selection of fruit, cereals, pastries and bacon & eggs. The coffee machine was easy to use and the coffee was good. Would definitely stay again

My third time in Barcelona, was getting on a cruise and needed a hotel for two nights. I was warned on arrival that the area was sketchy and needed to be alert and careful and was told by a cab driver not to be out late at night, I did end up staying late one night and nothing happened. It’s a no frills hotel, clean, perfect for two nights, close to Las Ramblas. We walked everywhere. Breakfast was good. I would totally recommend it for short stays.
