Great location, Born is such a lovely neighbourhood and very near to the Gothic Quarter and walkable to many attractions. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The air con worked well and the pool (although small) served its purpose to cool us off on a warm day. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay. I’ve read a few negative reviews about the hotel moaning about feeling unsafe, the staff being unfriendly, the room being noisy, not getting a kettle. I dispute all of these; there was not one point that we felt unsafe, we got a great nights sleep each night, the staff were friendly and we did in fact get a kettle.

También nos satisface saber que la habitación le resultó cómoda, limpia y tranquila, y que tanto el aire acondicionado como la piscina —aunque pequeña— contribuyeron a que su estancia fuera agradable en un día caluroso.Nos alegra especialmente que destaque la amabilidad de nuestro personal y que su experiencia haya sido tan positiva en aspectos donde otros huéspedes han tenido percepciones diferentes. Apreciamos mucho que comparta su punto de vista y que confirme que se sintió seguro, descansó bien y contó con todas las comodidades, incluido el hervidor.Gracias de nuevo por su confianza y por dedicar tiempo a escribir una reseña tan equilibrada y generosa. Será un placer volver a recibirle cuando desee regresar.

Super friendly staff with no problems understanding English, Spanish and Catalan. Very close to the subway station to Line One. Hop on Hop off bus stop is only a few minutes away. Breakfast selection was exceptional.

The room was small, but the facilities and cleanliness were acceptable. Getting around wasn't very convenient, and it was difficult to hail a taxi.

An old hotel near the Arc de Triomphe in the old city. Overall, it is comparable to three-star hotels in China. The price is worth the experience. The bar is too old and the rooftop garden pool is basically for decoration. Living in the old city is still stressful. There are many black and Muslim friends, and some of them actively come up to chat and ask for cigarettes. It is not recommended for women to live alone in the old city.

The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Gate of Victory of Catalonia, which is convenient for travel. The room is clean, spacious and bright, and the toiletries are good. The overall feeling is pretty good.

The location is excellent, just on the same street as the Arc de Triomphe. You can walk to various attractions. There are many restaurants and supermarkets on the street. The room is clean and the rooftop swimming pool has a view of the main church. The staff are professional and the service is enthusiastic. Very satisfied.
