Premier Inn Basildon (Festival Park)

Nice place to stay over night , doesn’t have any local shops nearby , but it is not a problem. Such as many restaurants within 10 min walk

Squeaky floor boards on room above, should of complained but I never until checkout. Bathroom was dirty, room could do with a deep clean. Matress was comfy for the 3 hours sleep I finally managed.pub closed at 1020pm ! Disappointed to say the least !

i stopped staying in Premier Inn some time ago because of a poor staff attitude. However, at Festival Park, i had a pleasant surprise. Not only was the hotel reasonably priced, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Our experience was terrible. First room, the bathroom was full of hair near the sink and in the bath. Transferred to another room. Second room the temperatures were unbearable 27c and it wasn’t even warm outside and heating was off. We did not sleep for 2 nights just sweating and that after a 10 hour travel time. We will not go back anymore and will not advise it to anyone. Guest relations says no to a refund or any kind gesture as it’s on the website that there’s no airconditioning. We are very disappointed

Very friendly staff. Easy parking which was free. Free wifi. Usual premier inn breakfast. Buffet style. Cute breakfast room and lovely pub next door. Easy walk down the lane to Festival park. Small bathroom with a small bath but excellent power shower. Wonderful, comfy beds. Room was quite hot but fan was provided. We couldn't lower the thermostat. We didn't find it noisy but we were at the back. Special mention to lovely Courtney Levy and her mum, Susie, who made our stay even more enjoyable with their hospitality and professionalism. Sorry if I got your names wrong!

Nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. Very comfortable and I had an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was pretty decent and a good choice was on offer. My only issue was the keycard didn’t work for my room and despite changing it the new one also didn’t work so I had to rely on the staff to let me into my room. The fire alarm also went off just as I stepped out the shower, apparently someone vaping in their room All in all though I’d stay here again.

Premier Inn Festival Park charged me three times for Breakfast. I called the hotel directly to sort it out and after a 6 minute call, they admitted they had made a mistake but said I need to contact "Guest Relations" to actually get a refund. I rang the number supplied and there was no answer for ages. Eventually, when they answered they offered a refund of the money taken in error (£21.98) and told me that I would not actually get the money back for a further 15 working days, despite the fact that they should never have taken the money in the first place. I expected to be refunded immediately for an error of this kind - Payments to Premier Inn are processed immediately, so there is no reason that refunds cannot be processed immediately too. This call took me 46 minutes.

Overall good value for money , Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms , bathroom , everything clean . Good bed to sleep in . It is a bed for the night , watch a bit of tv then sleep and good area for breakfast . Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from , so no need to have a built in evening meal area . The Green king Quays is only a few yards and plenty choice on the menu . otherwise lots of chain restaurants and more

Travelled down from Scotland for an overnight stay and the hotel was lovely. Very clean, very comfortable and very central to the main part of my trip. The staff were lovely and helpful and pleasant. The breakfast in the morning aas fab, good choice and the staff were brilliant. Will definitely use this hotel again.
